Inside of the restaurant nice modern decor.

This place is so cute and delicious. I wasn't terribly hungry so I ordered the 2 egg rolls from the appetizer menu and a medium bowl of the corn and chicken soup. Everything tasted very good. The service was super fast with multiple waitstaff assisting with getting what you need right away.

Service is fast and nice. They are customer friendly. Nice atmosphere. If you need to get back to work, but want a nice lunch they have good hustle so that you aren't late getting back. Wonton soup has good flavor. They have a little room in the side for bigger groups. Parking is available in the lot in front. Good portion size for the food and it's tasty.

Awesome food. The outside of the restaurant is a little unassuming and it's tucked away in the corner of a shopping complex, but as the other reviews say, food is amazing. I don't think it's truly authentic Chinese food, but an in between little diner with great and attentive service, reasonable prices and a lot on their menu. What we ordered came out super quickly and all the dishes were very good. We got egg drop soup (delicious), one stir fried seafood dish (shrimp and scallop- so good!), shrimp fried rice (great), the General Tso's beef (my husband loved this!), chicken lo mein. Generous portions for all dishes. I am sure this place is great for to go also because they must have had 25 to go orders in the 45 minutes we were there to eat.

The service was extremely fast! The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The food was delicious my son and I had lemon chicken and chicken with a side of lo mein. The dinner dishes, come with soup, eggroll or crab Rangoon and steamed rice or lo mein. The food was delicious and the service was great. Will come again.

The service was quick and the portion size for the price and quality was well worth it. The lunch specials are served with rice or lo mein, an appetizer & soup. I had the #12- general tso's chicken, lo mein, an egg roll and egg drop soup for $13. I highly recommend trying it.

My son and I tried this place. Wasn't long wait for a table but it was busy. Parking lot is limited but we were able to find a spot. We were seated and provide with menus. The portion size was good for their lunch special. Very good service and it was clean, meaning the utensils were spotty and neither were the glasses. Definitely going back to try other items.

Had lunch here with my mom recently. I had been here on a few occasions but never took the time to review it. Even though it was quite busy, we were seated right away. The dining area is a decent size and there is another room towards the back with seating as well. A waiter quickly arrived to bring us menus and take our drink orders. The menu offers a lot of variety, but I opted for the Almond Chicken lunch special. Started off with the hot and sour soup. There were wonton strips provided with the soup to add texture. Our entrees were brought out soon after. The serving was a good size, and was tasty. The fried rice and egg roll were a nice accompaniment. I will definitely return in the future as this is one of the better Chinese restaurants in the city.

Great service, restaurant is always clean. Huge portions especially at dinner. Love the chicken corn soup I ask for chives in it.. ordered Lemon Chicken portion is 2 chicken breasts sticker on top of each other with sauce on the side. Everything is fresh and hot. During month of December, you get a wall scroll calendar as a bonus thank you from them. Service is fast and efficient. Definitely a regular go to for me

The good - it was warm and the chicken is certainly white meat. The sesame balls were solid. The ribs had meat on them! The not good - everything else The chicken is tasteless (both of them)...there's a bit of heat...but almost no flavor. In either one - it just tastes like oily chicken with a bit of red pepper (both of them)...even though the sauce is totally different. The one I think is sesame chicken said no veggies, but it had a few veggies in it and that was the best part of it. The fried rice tastes like rice - absolutely nothing in it (maybe it looked at an egg once...but no onion, no carrot, no pork, nothing...and it's also oily). The ribs are decently meaty but they have this weird gelatin style sauce and not that normal red sauce on every other Chinese rib since the beginning of time. If I HAD to eat here again the ribs are the only thing I would get again. The wonton soup has 1 wonton in it each...and the wonton is 99% dough and a few scallions and nothing else in it either...it tastes like watered down broth. It's like they blew their whole budget on white meat chicken and had nothing left over for anything else.

China Inn continues to be on our regular rotation, but I wanted to tell y'all- don't sleep on that Peppery Pork!! There's no description on the menu so it's hard to figure out what it is, so I am going to tell you! It's not "peppery" as in the vegetable, but it's delicious strips of pork that are breaded and fried in a coating that's reminiscent of KFC, plated atop stir fried onions and dried chili pieces. No sauce. Ohhhh myyy! Crispy, tender, delicious, and one of our new favorites! I think it's underrated and lesser reviewed because people might be afraid to order it by its somewhat vague name, but I am here to happily clear the confusion! Get it, get it, get it!

We met my sister-in-love and brother-in-love for lunch today at China Inn. Lunch specials are available every day of the week. Almost everyone had lunch specials except for me. Lunch specials include soup and egg roll or crab rangoon. My sister-in-love had the Spicy Shrimp and Vegetables, my brother-in-love had the Chicken and Broccoli, hubby had the Triple Delight, Dad had the Lemon Chicken, and I had Orange Beef. Dad's chicken was a bit dry so we swapped it for Tofu and Veggies instead. Overall, the food was good.

We tried some new-to-us dishes recently and generally found them to be very good. Orange Chicken was not overly battered, big chunks of white chicken meat, not too saucy and just a hint of spice. Real orange peel, too, which makes all the difference! We also ordered the Spicy Combination with beef, chicken, and shrimp. Carrots, peppers, bamboo in the dish provided a bit of veggie balance. Not our most favorite, but still very good. As per usual, we started with steamed dumplings and crab puffs; DH added a cup of egg drop soup- this place serves his favorite egg drop soup. Everything was delicious. I always ask for chili oil for that extra added kick! I do wish that the dishes labeled "spicy" were actually spicy. They really aren't spicy at all. The lunch specials came with soup and egg roll, and fried rice. DH ordered his litmus test dish for American style Chinese- General Tso chicken. The portion was generous. The sauce was tasty. The chicken pieces tasted like your average frozen nuggets tossed in sauce. It's that familiar "seasoning" to the chicken and coating- iykyk. Not bad at all, just not the best. He enjoyed his egg drop soup. I opted for Hunan Beef. The sauce was thicker than I prefer, with an almost gelatinous consistency. The hot and sour soup was nice, a little more sour than hot. However, my most recent encounter has soured me completely, and I think I will never return. My favorite dish here was something that did not appear on the menu, Bo Tai Chanh salad. Even though it was not listed, they would whip it up at my request. It consists of beef cappaccio on an iceberg lettuce salad with Vietnamese vegetables and a fish sauce based dressing. Tonight they refused my order. What makes this refusal all the more frustrating is that Pho Bo Tai Chanh (the soup version) is listed on the menu and promoted as one of the favorite dishes. All that was needed, to meet my request, was to cut up half a head of lettuce and throw the non-liquid ingredients of the soup on top. Every restaurant should remember the customer is always right. Their only purpose is to meet their customers' requests to the best of their ability. I understand when a kitchen cannot meet requests with the ingredients or equipment they have. For example, I always call 24 hours ahead to order Peking Duck because the traditional methods require that amount of time to prepare the dish. Or I remember being refused a request to have my meat served rare when the restaurant had already cooked all its meat to medium rare using sous vide. I don't expect the kitchen to do the impossible. But every kitchen must be ready to meet special request whether health related like peanuts, shrimp, gluten, salt, carbohydrates, etc. or relate to tastes or ethics like vegetarian, vegans, seafood, etc. To fail one's customers is the first step to being one of the numerous restaurants to fail and become irrelevant. Any restaurant that refuses to meet reasonable requests fails the fundamental test for good service and does not deserve to be patronized. P.S. I end up going down the road to Yaya's Thai Restaurant (another local restaurant) to get something that met my tastes and preferences.
