Strawberry Milk Tea with Honey Boba, and Matcha Milk Tea with Honey Boba
    Nayra B.

Not the worst milk teas I've had but... Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here. We stopped by Kokee yesterday in the mall for a couple of milk teas. The line was pretty short when we went but there were at least five different employees crammed into the tiny stand bustling about either cleaning or preparing the drinks. Though I can't say these drinks were good, we were at least able to finish them. We ordered the Strawberry Milk Tea and Matcha Milk Tea, both with Honey Boba. The Honey Boba were too sweet and were a lot smaller in size to a lot of the boba I've either prepped myself or have had in drinks in the past. The Strawberry Milk Tea simply tasted like someone tried to brew tea in a cup of Strawberry Nesquik, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was actually the case. I found myself forcing myself to finish it since I'd spent good money on it. The Matcha Milk Tea on the other hand was made with a super low quality matcha concentrate that I did not find enjoyable in the slightest. Had it been the drink I'd ordered, I would have tossed it without a doubt. I'd recommend skipping this boba tea joint. It isn't the worst, but you could get far better quality drinks for the same price elsewhere.

First time here, kiddo needed a boba drink. It wasn't quite busy but it didn't seem like anyone wanted put forth effort to help me (I'm not familiar with what's served) I'd ask a question or two and get the eye roll and finger pointing to the menu. I emphasized that it was my first time and She blatantly said "we sell boba drinks" -- I got that. First order placed "we are out of tapioca" ok, what do you have, strawberry poppers, she points.... Umm I want strawberry lol she stared at me for a bit and provided my drink. Didn't bother asking about military discount because it was obvious that she didn't want to do her job and needed another break! Paid $6.74. Not bad, but I also pay for service. I won't be returning

Tried this place for the first time and it was alright. The coffee milk tea tasted decent and the Thai tea wasn't as good as I expected (I had this drink in other places that were better I feel). I added some Honey Boba and though was chewy didn't really help with the drink and really couldn't tell if honey was in it. I also tried a coconut smoothie and was creamy and delicious definitely best drink between the three. I do like the idea they have to make your drink as sweet as you like and the cover on the drinks are cute. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to come here but if I'm passing by might try it again.

A straight forward boba kiosk in the mall's food court on the 2nd floor. Lots of different options on the menu! There's also some snacks too.

My boba was hard and not cooked long enough. The milk tea itself was good though. Service was fast. I think I would give it another shot because they had some pretty drinks I didn't try.

Love this place!! Its a must have whenever I come to this mall location, they have a wide range menu and fast service. Would definitely suggest for any boba lovers!!!

Though it's a little more pricey then a normal Boba Tea location the customer service made it worth it! Stephan and jea'anney (or something like that) really went above and beyond to help me even with nutrition facts details! I was so impressed with the younger girl's personality, skill, speed, and teamwork! If I was hiring for baristas bartenders or servers I'd definately recommend them as well as hiring on the spot! Great job girls! kokee tea, you got two winners on your team!

Great first experience with boba. The customer service was on point. They let us try reg boba and boba pop since we never had it before. We will definitely be back for another treat when we come to the mall again.

The tea taste is pretty aight, lots of options. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 cause of the flavor and mix of the Oreo tea. The service was horrible. My second drink for my wife was wrong, and was given to us after the two customers behind us. They were out of lots of options. The employee with the two full sleeves of tattoos was super rude! He rolled his eyes at my questions and barked grumpy orders at the other staff - definitely should not be working in customer service.

It's inside the North Star Mall in the food hall. Both of the boba that I ordered are okay. The Pea lemonade taste like a grape and little bit sour. The Oreo milk tea taste like milk tea. I have not tasted the Oreo at all. The price is about right. Overall, it's okay, maybe their other flavors are delicious but not the one that I ordered.

So was looking for a near by boba shop to satisfy my craving. I made the mistake of thinking this was a standalone shop... it's not. It's in the North Star Mall, on the second floor of the food court. It was alright to me, the boba is average, and the thrown sugar drink was like a 3/5 for me. It's a pretty average place, nothing to exciting about it. But also not too bad.

I had the Tiger milk tea, which was good. It was a mix of Thai and black tea and I liked it. However the boba tasted stale, like it was from yesterday. It didn't have the normal juicy and chewy texture that I'm used to.

Wow!!! I have had boba a long time ago and I don't like chewing the little gummy balls. My hubby got this drink and omg!!! I'm glad I did because their boba is like a little juice filled jelly ball! As soon as you bite down it pops a potent juice flavor into your mouth!!! It was such an awesome drink cold and refreshing! The people were nice and fast! I like the way they made the drink fresh and then seal the lid themselves so you can stab the straw in yourself( impossible to spill!)

    Yummy mango and passion fruit!

Artea is a pretty decent chain with a wide variety of loose-leaf teas, milk teas & lattes, frozen milk teas/drinks, and a huge selection of specialty drinks such as "cucumber lychee bliss", "strawberry lychee lime green tea," or "mango coconut paradise." They also have a big selection of toppings. I love how they have basil seeds and red bean (2 of my favs). I'm pretty picky about my milk teas, but Artea's has been consistent and not watered down like most. Their food menu, although is quite pricey on some items, are pretty tasty. We tried the $24 ribeye steak fried rice and was pretty happy with it. The bento boxes are a bargain. Parm garlic aioli fries were good. Tonkatsu ramen was with "udon" like noodles, which was different. Lots of finger foods/appetizers to enjoy with your boba. They have a small dessert selection (fried oreos & matcha ice cream). I would say it's one of the better boba joints in San Antonio. My only complaint is that they run out of items on a regular basis--happens more often than I would like--ex: wintermelon milk tea (which is hard to get nowadays, unless you go to KFT).

For the rests of the us, the ones with fantastic tastebuds such as myself, you will really, really enjoy this little boba/ smoothie/ gelato/ coffee shop tremendously!!! It's immaculately clean, and the service was top notch as well. I ordered my usually at any boba shop, which was my ultimate old reliable taro root boba tea, I normally get this frozen but silly me I had forgotten to tell the young man behind the counter that preference, I did specify that I wanted a slight coconut taste and I thought that possibly that they could possibly throw a smidgen of coconut boba flavor in there somehow. He told me the best way to get the coconut flavor in that won't be too over powering is that I should consider putting coconut milk in it. I agreed and than I noticed the delicious looking gelato! I love gelato. So I figured perhaps I'd get a small smidgen to enjoy with my boba. So he tells me that their gelato is actually from Italy the ingredients came from there, and offered me a sample. I tasted the coconut and it was really good. It had a nice creaminess to it and wasn't sickenly (I know that's maybe not a real word) sweet just perfect flavor like I was on a tropical beach with a straw in a coconut that's been on ice for 24 hours so it's nice and cold. So refreshing. Than I seen the ube flavor and I was like - wow that's what I want, he's like oh you want to sample the Ube flavor, I was like no, I'm already convinced it will be delicious as well. So I ordered the medium gelato which came with two scoops, one of each and it was so good I had to actually pace my self from not wolfing it down. I still had not sampled my boba. It was still wrapped up. But than the guy comes from behind the counter and offered me a second, well he didn't offer it he just gave it to me, I was a bit surprised as I only ordered one drink, but he explained how he wasn't sure if I he remembered to put the coconut milk in the boba tea for me. I told him I haven't even had sampled it yet and really in my not even tell the difference. He told me no problem I already made it for you. So honest - how many servers would just hope I would not notice! More than likely quite a bit, and I also noticed that they draw little faces on their cups here, see in pic so cute, and there's board games, like Jenga, connect 4 and j few other board games for groups of people to play. So in review I had the most delicious boba tea with a medium gelato, my bill came to about $14. 00. + 5 for a tip. It was money well spent for a delicious meal and great service. Plenty of parking as it's in a shopping cluster of stores on the corner of Fredericksburg and Wurzbach. Enjoy!

This is not our regular go-to Tealicious location but last Friday night since we were around the area after our errands at HEB, we decided to visit. We've been here several times before and I thought perhaps it was just an isolated incident. I let my emotions die down too that's why I waited this long. Just bought four drinks from our regular neighborhood Tealicious on Potranco near 1604 and just can't help finally posting this objective review. Back to the Tealicious by HEB Bandera experience, they are totally consistent...consistently providing a horrible customer service experience. The young lady in the cash register was simply impersonal, dull, and snobbish.
