Perused the reviews here and found out I'm not the only one who experienced the same sub par customer service. This is not our regular go-to Tealicious location but last Friday night since we were around the area after our errands at HEB, we decided to visit. We've been here several times before and I thought perhaps it was just an isolated incident. I let my emotions die down too that's why I waited this long. Just bought four drinks from our regular neighborhood Tealicious on Potranco near 1604 and just can't help finally posting this objective review. Back to the Tealicious by HEB Bandera experience, they are totally consistent...consistently providing a horrible customer service experience. The young lady in the cash register was simply impersonal, dull, and snobbish. Again, we thought this was isolated but on all those several instances we visited this location, we have exactly the same sub par customer service experience. This afternoon visit at Tealicious on Potranco, I asked the young lady if the owners are the same on both locations, she verified it not the same. The staff at the Bandera location needs to learn from these excellent staff members at Potranco. No matter what time of day, or day of the week and no matter who's tending the store, the customer service at Tealicious Potranco is consistently stellar. My experience this afternoon at Tealicious Potranco made me finally decide to post my unacceptable customer service experience at Tealicious Badera. Never ever again visiting Tealicious at Badera, we'll always be loyal to our neighborhood Tealicious at Potranco! The best in customer service, consistent at all times! read more

I have wanted to try this place for a while and finally did yesterday. My favorite boba is Strawberry Jasmine milk tea with strawberry popping boba but unfortunately they don't have that. I went with a vanilla milk tea with strawberry popping boba and it was pretty good but not quite the same. Not sure if they had strawberries syrup to add to the sides of the cup but that would have made a big difference. I would still recommend you give it a try. read more

With the weather heatin up again, I was thirsty for a boba tea or slushie. First time here, I was impressed with the expansive menu- teas, coffees, milk teas, ice blends etc. Their customer fave and general menus were posted on the walls. I ordered their lychee ice blend with lychee popping boba. I was told their watermelon was the only one that was all fruit instead of syrup, but I was craved lychee. It was super refreshing on this hot day, but I honestly give it 4.5- too much sugar and therefore super sweet. I had no idea about the level, definitely needs to be dialed down. Tealicious Cafe is really recommended by me. I enjoy it every time I go. The Ambience is perfect. When you walk in you fell welcome. It is a nice place to take a break or chill. The drinks are my favorite. I get a chocolate with cookies and cream mixed. It is very refreshing and delicious. You should definitely try, make a stop soon. read more

I love boba tea ! Tealicious Cafe offers SO many flavors, it's almost overwhelming! Cute decor, clean area, open 7 days a week! I stuck with my usual taro coconut (#57 on the menu) blended with boba. The flavor was super yum but the boba was wayy overcooked. Kinda ruined the drink for me, but I drank it anyways. My visit took place an hour after opening and the place was empty. The girl at the counter could definitely improve her customer service attitude. I've seen other reviews mention the lack of friendly service so that may be the norm here... I may give this place one more chance but if I get the same service and soggy boba, there wont be a third visit. read more

This place was pretty good. I do have to say that their items are sweeter than other boba style teas I've had. I love all the options though it can be very overwhelming to choose. It took us a good ten minutes just to read the menu. Only reason I gave 3 stars is because I felt like the staff there wasn't the friendliest. When we asked certain questions, they seemed annoyed or like they didn't want to answer. He kept huffing because we didn't know what we wanted right away even though there were no other customers in line behind us. Prices were fair $17 for 3 different drinks. Parking was easy to find. Place was clean, tons of seating. I just don't think I'd personally be back just based off customer service. read more

I tried this place out for the first time a few days ago... I told the lady behind the counter and she gave me a quick summary on how to order... I ordered... the drink was delish. So I went back the next day and ordered like 4 drinks... a little of evrything to try out. Found what I liked and didnt like... while waiting I checked out the place and it is very clean, there were several signs explaining the drinks as well as how to order... I didnt know that I could get my drink with no sugar all the way to extra sweet. So next time I went I was in a short line and evrybody had punchcards... im like... wtf... I ordered 4 drinks at 1 time and the dude behind the counter didnt say nothn about no punch card... at the rate im going I could have filled tht punch card tomorrow! So thats why I gave this place a 4 star review... yes just for the punch card. The service is fast with 2 people, with 1 person making the drinks and at the register its a little slower but not slow. Also, I prefer the cream smoothies to all the other different kinds of drinks on the menu. read more

Graciously friendly staff and service! Came in as a group. Was greeted very courteously and was amazed by the amount of selections they had. This milk tea place had the most I've ever seen on their menu. I had ordered a large Taro milk tea (no ice) with red bean and didn't realize I didn't get the red bean in it until one of the staff caught the mistake and offered me complimentary macaroons. Interior was clean and set up nicely. Chairs were comfortable to sit for extended periods of time. Also, the vibe felt very casual. read more

Never had a bad experience here. Love Tealicious!! Only thing is I wish they had a kid's size drink. They all come one size. If you split the cup with your little one, they can do it smaller, but it has to be the same flavor. read more

We got a green tea frappuccino and an avocado coffee cream blend with tapioca pearls. I was pleasantly surprised with the avocado coffee blend. I had seen this place for quite some time and today was my first visit. Friends were meeting up and I had suggested this place. Mixed feelings honestly. For the avocado cream blend, it's 4 stars since they use real avocados and the taste is pretty good. What's disappointing is that I had called before coming to make sure they have wifi since I needed to do some work before my friends arrived. I was assured that there's wifi. Their wifi is through Spectrum so there's option to sign in if you already have Spectrum or sign in as guest for an hour free. Neither option was working. "Crazy drink". That's all I should leave this at. Winter melon flavor drink, iced, with various flavors of pudding, jellies, & of course, boba. I came across the crazy drink for the first time when I was in Austin and was super happy when I found out Tealicious made it. It's unusual, flavorful, filling, and a great treat on a hot day. They didn't have an extensive menu so if you've never been here before you might want to have an idea of what you're looking for. Otherwise you'll be standing there in front of the menu trying to figure out what you want or if you're not familiar with ordering bubble tea (which these days is not too often to come by) you might be standing in front of the menu for awhile. I have a couple of other sweets available at the register, the prices are average-ish, and they do have Wi-Fi available if you need.The area is usually pretty clean and there are also board games if you feel inclined to play with your friends or perhaps even with strangers. read more

If you want good boba tea then tealicious is the spot! The menu is extensive so if you want it then they most likely have it. Drinks range from $3.50-$5 blended is an additional $0.50 and adding boba/pearls is an additional $0.50+ and they only come in one size. The boba hasn't failed me here yet. Still soft chewy and overall very tasty. My main tip is to never get the drinks will full sugar. I would say start with 50% if you are trying to cut sugar or if you are like me and can't handle overly sweet treats. I love the almond cream blend with tapioca. It's so delicious, mildly sweet and gives that toasty flavor. They also have a loyalty card that you can get a free drink after 10 visits. read more

I love the crazy drink here and it's my all time favorite. I tried the Taro here it's pretty good too. The only thing I did not like here that I ordered and tried was the new milk foam Thai Tea. I actually got a very bad stomach ache after drinking the new milk foam Thai tea for day. My stomach was not feeling well from that Thai tea. It was more creamer than the traditional Thai tea. First time trying Boba. I know, shocking for an asian woman in her twenties. After trying it I discovered that I'm not a fan of the boba, but that's just personal preferences. I don't even know where to begin with this place as it's mildly overwhelming with all of the options presented. If you're a boba fan then you should do yourself a favor and stop by. I encourage you to check out their available options as far as what you can include in your drink. I added the egg pudding as it's reminiscent of the Mexican flan (delicious). They offer a rewards program in which you get a little cut out on a card and for every visit you eventually add up towards a free drink. Update: We go so often now and decided it's the best boba place in the area! I love that you can customize milk teas and smoothies even if it's not on the menu. We're gonna come back for another stamp card cause we already used up the other one! :D If you're in San Antonio, Tealicious is your best bet for bubble tea/boba/tapioca. Although it doesn't stand a chance to Houston bubble tea cafes, it's the best in its area. My boyfriend loves the fact that you can customize milk tea flavors. His favorites are the Blueberry Milk Tea, Vanilla Milk Tea, Strawberry Milk Tea, and whatever else he is feeling adventurous for that day. I always opt for the regular milk tea or a smoothie, which are also good. They also offer stamp cards just like most bubble tea places. However, because I'm so used to Houston prices, theirs are high in my opinion. The price on the menu does not include sinkers either. We spend around $5 for a cup and to me that's a setback. Overall, even though I'm constantly comparing them to Houston drinks, Tealicious offers good drinks if you're in the area. Their menu is big and they're also very friendly. Tealicious Cafe is excellent! They have an extensive menu of different boba teas and smoothies to choose from. You can mix different flavors and add ins so the possibilities are almost endless. They make it easy with a list of customer favorites on the wall so I figured any choice off of here would be good. It was awesome. The taro cream was sweet but not overly sweet and had a generous amount of tapioca balls. My fiancée tried the cookies and cream flavor and he was equally impressed. Tealicious offers a punch card and every 10th drink is free. The inside has an inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating including outside tables and chairs. They have shelves full of different games if you want to kick back and relax. Happy to say this is the best place I've found in San Antonio so far! read more

Cafe is off 1604 and Bandera near HEB. The place was clean and service is friendly. Like everyone else prices have increased and size has decreased. The quality of the product is still good. We ordered a strawberry banana ice with tapioca, and a Mango ice with tapioca. Have never had the tapioca. It tastes kinda like coffee. They have a lot of different flavor options. I finally gotten a chance to stop on by & picked up a vietnamese coffee & a fruit mix drink. Vietnamese coffee can't even come close to anywhere I ever had.
