I was in search of a new coffee spot. Came here around 2pm. There were a few people in there. Some studying. Some playing video games. Some just hanging out with friends. I ordered the biscoff banana pudding matcha. I was a little afraid that it was going to be too sweet, but it wasn't. It was perfect. The topping was a spoonful of banana pudding, but the drink itself was a good iced matcha. For my pastry, I got the biscoff cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll is huge. It is definitely shareable. Bytes Cafe has definitely been one of our favorite weekend spots! We typically stop by for drinks before we venture out for brunch/shopping in the i10/1604 area. They use Texas Grounds coffee for the espresso drinks here which we love; my husband always gets a sugar free vanilla latte. My go-to is the banana biscoff matcha latte with oat milk - it is everything I want in a matcha drink. Sweet, rich, and satisfying! We've tried a bit of the food - I had the BEC which is the regular breakfast sandwich and my husband had the habanero prosciutto sandwich. Super good! We have plans to try more of the menu here :) The ambiance is so amazing, if you go early it's very relaxed. In the afternoons they often have mini-markets and events so if that's more up your alley, you definitely should try this place out! read more

Their food is wonderful and so is their coffee I had the tiramisu coffee and the Habanero Hitman. The staff was also kind and patient during my order process and answered all the questions I had. This place was awesome! So unique to still see Internet cafes around the days! The vibes inside are super cool as the place has awesome decorations! They have 3 tvs to play games on including Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo switch, as well as PCs. So cool! The service was really quick and workers were kind. The food was pretty tasty. We learned that Bytes Cafe opened less than a month ago. Since I work from home, I look for spots I can travel to and grab a bite and work. The staff was super friendly and were more than willing to share info about the family-owned cafe. The game consoles are free to play, there's board games available, and there is an hourly charge for PC gaming. The shop is a mix of gaming, anime, K-Pop, and related thrift shirts. We started with the Ube Cheesecake. OMG - it was incredibly good, and I would come back for more. I easily could have ate another slice. The banana pudding matcha drink was unbelievably flavorful. The staff said that while some eat the pudding off the top, we took their advice and mixed it in which made it so creamy. This is another item I would come back for. Such an interesting little place but the coffee was amazing and the treat selection was plentiful. I wish I would've gotten one! What an amazing concept definitely something I haven't seen before! Bytes combines a cozy café vibe with gaming setup. They serve delicious coffee, matcha, and a great variety of pastries and sandwiches. I tried the strawberry matcha and it was so good! Came for their Hello Kitty Event. It was quite a drive for me (40mins) , but I had to come because I've never been to this cafe and of course it's Hello Kitty! Met a couple of friends there. They had different vendors selling a bunch of cute stuff (mostly Hello Kitty) and the cafe had Sanrio themed drinks. Service was great - the lady explained all the drinks and was really friendly. I ended up getting their ube cheesecake and Keroppi drink which was matcha with strawberry foam and crunch on top. It was soo yummy!!! They even had free gift bags! Service was good since I attended for an event. I had ordered water, the event special drink (Malibu Sunset), and the food item (cheese jerky). I only received my drinks but never received the food item throughout the night. I understand how busy it can get but since this was my first time checking out the place, I was excited yet was never approached by any staff regarding the food. Visited Bytes Café on June 8th during the SATX ARMY Festa Trail and was seriously impressed. I had the iced S'mores latte and an almond croissant--both were fantastic, but that latte?
