Chai 2. Because it's that good. And look! A new design
Francine P.

As all caffeination inspired businesses should, they jumpstarted my day with a little joy. Cute, but simple location. Very clean and calm. For my first visit I started off with a chai latte. Thank you for serving with with whole milk and omg a chai that's actually spicy! So nice I did it twice. Friendly and welcoming staff looks like they're enjoying the community as it wakes. Give them a try. Lord knows there are plenty of us in this area to help them thrive! I scoured review photos until I found a coffee shop that still served in mugs. The risk did not disappoint.

Please excuse my not aesthetic picture, but this place definitely had the cutest ambiance! I was looking for somewhere local to grab a coffee before I went to get my oil changed, and I saw this spot on google maps. The barista was super friendly, and they made my latte quickly. The latte art was on point! I ordered a Carmel latte with oat milk, and it was the perfect temperature to drink and very well balanced. They only offer whole milk or oak milk, but there's no up-charge for oat which is refreshing! I can't wait to come back here to get some work done- it's the perfect spot to study or do a project. Plus I noticed the wifi password was clearly displayed- which I love! Definitely a hidden gem in this area.

If you don't know what you're looking for, you would probably pass up this place. They do have their name at the side of the building, but not the front. This coffee shop is small, but has enough seating for the clientele expected. They have a limited menu, but they do have something for everyone. For those that do not like coffee, they do have tea. They also have baked items. We had our Bookclub meeting here and it was a perfect location. If you are expecting a larger group, this may not be the place for you though. I had the strawberry Matcha. No complaints for me. It was sweet, but not overpowering. My friend had their cinnamon roll and thought it was very delicious. The baristas were super nice. They even brought out one of our drinks. Parking is available on site, but it is shared with the other businesses. I don't foresee any issues finding parking though. Prices are up to par with other coffee shops.

Came in for the first time after our morning Black Friday shopping. Really nice & cozy place, service was great, barista mentioned they make their syrups homemade We got an iced latte with vanilla syrup, coffee was really good! Always support your local coffee shops!!! They need it more than those big companies can't wait to be back :)

Tend Coffee is the coziest coffee shop in Alamo Ranch, serving high quality coffee and ingredients, while handcrafting their own syrups, cold foam, and the like! I love this spot because the coffee is really good & the atmosphere makes you want to cozy up and read a book. It's a place where you can slow down, or get some work done since it's one of the more quieter spaces in the area. The baristas are all super friendly and welcoming and they just add to the place! Definitely a coffee spot to add to your list They are very big on community and will even have markets starting up soon. Keep an eye on their page for more details! Tuesday-Saturday 8 am - 2 pm

Sweetheart Latte with oat milk and Cortado
Amber A.

First time here and it was 1000/10. Drinks were perfect, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff provided friendly service! The cortado was smooth and the sweetheart iced latte was my boyfriend and i's favorite drink. They use Minor Figures oat milk which is a personal favorite that I don't see anywhere else. Their coffee is also very high quality- one in which you don't have to go downtown for. They also make their syrups in house which I loved. We can't wait to come back already! Much love to this faith based coffee shop!

A MUST GO TO ! The vibes, the staff, the coffee! Everything was beautiful. Shout out to Natalia for making this experience I got their famous "sweetheart" which is caramel and vanilla cold foam if I'm not wrong and I added honey and let me tell you IT WAS GOOD! If you're on the sweater side I definitely recommend. I was a little confused at first because it was inside a church but it's at the corner building when you get there. Really nice place to study because the music is soft and calm!

Super cute coffee shop! The barista was super nice and friendly and had great recommendations. I love that they make their own syrups as well. I love matcha and this match is one of the best ones I've had. The strawberry syrup with it was also SO delicious. It is on the sweet side so next time I would just ask for less syrup. I definitely plan on coming back.

This is a hidden gem I am so happy to have found this spot, it's amazing! They have the best matcha in San Antonio and the staff here is so sweet. I love that they make matcha the traditional way and it's delicious. They also make the syrups in house and it makes such a big difference. They have pastries too, I got an almond croissants. This is a spot where you can come hang out with a friend or even work from. I highly recommend, I will be a regular here!

Iced vanilla latte with oatmilk

Came a couple Saturdays ago around 9:30 AM. The barista was super nice, asked for my name and how my day was going. The coffee was so.good. It is located inside/ shares space with a non-denominational church which I believe the coffee shop is a part of (baristas, employees, owners are from the church). The area for the coffee shop itself is nice and clean and aesthetic looking. One long community table and some side tables as well. I would come again!

Sweetheart and a Cortado
Cynthia T.

Very charming little coffee shop inside a church. There's a very small sign by the door, which is currently the only visual you have to indicate you have arrived at your destination. As I write this, I am currently trying to separate my migraine from my experience, because my migraine had absolutely nothing to do with the quality of this spot, but it did its best (worst) to ruin my experience. Immediately when I walked in, a couple of patrons looked up at me and gave me big smiles. In turn, that made me smile. The barista was very nice and helpful. He explained what the Sweetheart beverage was, so I ordered that, a cortado, and a pumpkin muffin (that he warmed up for me). The cups and plates are absolutely adorable, reminiscent of Curator Coffee. The barista was very proud of his "Powerpuff Girl Heart" latte art - it was very cute. The flavor was also pretty good, it had a bit of a bite to it. The Sweetheart was also delicious, with a very thick and foam on top that refused to integrate into the drink. (It kept separating haha) The pumpkin muffin also hit the spot. The disposable wooden cutlery was also cute. This small space has a minimalist, but distinctly crisp, clean, and modern-feeling decor. Homemade candles sit on the table (and are for sale), a plant here and there, and some nice, unobtrusive instrumental music. The primary seating is a huge table with many chairs, and a few seats in some corners. By the time I left, more folks arrived and sat nearby, sharing the giant table. (a little too close for my comfort, there were plenty of chairs on the opposite side.) As with many coffee shops, it's out of my way to get to, but I'm glad I went and experienced it. It's sure to please anyone who lives on that side of town.

This was my very first visit here, and it certainly won't be my last! I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great place to relax or focus. The coffee is smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced--not too sweet. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, making it ideal for studying, getting work done, or simply enjoying a quiet moment. I truly love this place, and I pray that the Lord continues to bless this wonderful business.

There are plenty of seats/tables so it looks like a great place to come study. I didn't check for outlets though. I will say that I'm glad I looked at the menu before coming in because the menu that was displayed was extremely difficult to read. Not only was it far behind the counter, it was also extremely high up. The font was also really small. I thought there would be a menu on the counter by the cash register, but there wasn't, so again, I'm glad I looked at the menu beforehand. I think the girl that helped me was new, or was in training, so I'll give her some grace. She came up and asked me what I would like to order, and I looked a little confused so it would've been nice if she asked if I had any questions about the menu instead of just asking what I would like to order right off the bat. I was trying to decide between two drinks so I would've liked a recommendation. I did think it was a little odd they didn't have a pickup counter/area. Maybe because most people use the drive-thru?? I thought that was a nice touch. I didn't realize they had a drive-thru until I was ordering at the register. I chose a medium iced Blackout (hazelnut & mocha) and I think it's the perfect blend of nutty and espresso. I did notice it was a little warm at first sip, but after swirling it a little, all the flavors blended effortlessly and deliciously. PRO TIP: register online for a free iced medium drink good for one month!

My fiancé and I stopped into Qargo Coffee to escape the miserable weather outside and this experience definitely lifted our spirits. I absolutely LOVED the aesthetic; the chic urban lighting and multitude of plants created such an awesome place to chill out with a delicious pastry or get some work done with a cup of coffee. The barista who took our order was so cheerful and extremely helpful, and our order came out relatively quickly after we sat down. We ordered a couple of Winterberry Matcha Lattes (mine with Almond milk), a Spinach and Feta Danish, and a Pistachio Cheesecake. To start, the Matcha Lattes were both pretty yummy, though I was they were hotter. They were just warm, which was fine, but the heat did leave quicker than I could finish my latte leaving me with a room-temp latte towards the end. The Winterberry gave a nice subtle sweetness to the drink without drowning out the matcha flavor, so the flavors were able to blend nicely. The Spinach and Feta Danish was good but nothing special. There was far more pastry than filling, so if you want a heartier meal I'd probably recommend one of their sandwiches; those things looked massive! As for the Cheesecake, it was so delicious but SUPER sugary sweet! It was exceptionally creamy with a light nutty taste and sweet tanginess, but I'm happy my fiancé and I opted to split it because I would've gone into sugar overload eating it alone! I'd definitely like to return to Qargo to try one of those sandwiches or something else just as delicious looking from their menu. I think I'll ask for my next Matcha Latte extra hot so I can get it to a temperature closer to my liking. If you're in the area, give this café a try!
