Previously Sari and a Ramen restaurant, it has now transformed into Wicked Voodoo Espresso. Parking was easy and seating space was exceptional. Cool diamond art displayed throughout store space, a compost bin, and area of their specialized coffee for sale. I appreciated their menu of coffee varieties, breakfast/lunch menu, and home made pastries. But, especially was thankful and grateful that any of their special coffee menu items could be made decaffeinated. Thank you so much!! I can only tolerate decaf. I chose Spanish Romance decaf, sub with coconut milk. Absolutely delicious! Not too sweet and loved the chocolate, hazelnut, and coconut notes. This cute coffee shop was a place my friend wanted to stop by and try out. Thankfully there wasn't a huge crowd and plenty of parking. Inside it was very clean and looked really nice. The atmosphere was calming and quiet enough place to relax if you want. The lady at the front was nice to us and gave us some good recommendations. My friend has a glutten allergy so the lady made sure to recommend options that would be best for her. My coffee was a ice white mocha with lavender and blackberry. It was really delicious and not overwhelming on the coffee or sweet. I would come back here just for this drink again. We also ordered these bacon, egg bites I thought were decent and easy to walk around with (would be good with some sauce). This was a cute little quiet place. I've been wanting to try it for awhile so me and a friend stopped by for a quick pick me up. The placed seemed really clean , modern and simple. Lots of seating inside with two tables outside. They offer a variety of drinks including espressos, smoothies, cider , teas and natural energy drinks. They also had some cookies , muffins , baked sweets and egg bites . They also have a little area where you can buy k cups and bags of coffee and merchandise. I tried the haystack coffee with coconut milk. I really loved it. The flavors were balanced, and not overly sweet. Nothing was overpowering the other. I do wish it was a tad stronger but I think it was a great first try. I would definitely come back . First time here, nice sized coffee shop but they were busy. I got their Mexican mocha, so good! My kid got a chocolate chip cookie but it was hard, so my kid didnt like the texture. My husband got an iced caramel latte, he enjoyed it. Since they were busy it took awhile for us to get our drinks and they apologized for the wait and overall the staff was friendly. We would go back again but now we know we may have to wait awhile depending on how busy they are. read more

Scammers. I used to be very fond of this place as they have a nice selection of drinks, not to bad prices and it's in a high traffic area I frequently visit. I used to come here during work all the time and just occasionally. I loved the value for the cake pops, one of the main reasons I would come, 3 dollars and change for 3 pops. As pictured in the photos below yet last visit I was charged $3 plus for 1 pop. I asked about the price knowing it was 3 for 3 and the lady working said no it's not $3 for 3 and they must have changed the price. As we waited for our drinks I was pretty upset just to look at the menu and see the price listed as I remembered. When I pointed it out to the employee she said "well idk sorry" and didn't care that it's posted clearly as the price I remembered. The manager ignored the issue and cared on with her day. Safe to say I won't be back and don't recommend as there is a lot better shops around that don't scam. Absolutely wrong. read more

This is good coffee, nice and smooth. WiFi is available for indoor guest or take advantage of the drive thru option around the back of the building. Service was warm and friendly and they offer plenty of casual seating options for working, reading or meeting with friends. I recommend the cupcake balls with your coffee. I was impressed with the gentleman that made my coffee, he was very knowledgeable about the coffee beans, where they came from and how they were roasted. I appreciated that he gave me a sample of one of the flavors to make sure it would be good with the choice I made. The coffee was good, it was a little milder than I like, although most of the places I've tried the coffee is way too strong so I at least enjoyed this coffee even though it could have been a little bit stronger, not much, just a little! This coffee was very good! I'm rarely on this side of town, so I stopped at this place and ordered their fall coffee flight. For $14, it wasn't a lot of coffee, but I decided to splurge and get the flight because it looked so adorable. I really enjoyed trying all the different flavors. My only complaint (and this is common at many coffee shops) is when they include something that is a common allergen in your coffee without telling you. I have a wheat (gluten) allergy and I wasn't able to drink the pumpkin cold brew because it had the donut on it, but my husband was happy to drink that one and eat the cupcake that came with the flight. I'd go back if I'm on that side of town again, but I would definitely try a full-size coffee next time. The flight was fun and super cute, though! read more

Disappointed that the times on the store (written in the most unnoticeable font) advertises a close time that's 30 minutes before the time advertised on Google Maps. Went through the drive thru minutes before 5 (when the open sign was still on) and no answer. Decided to park and go in, and the man behind the register said they just closed..... Literally the sign was still on before I walked in. I come here because I enjoy the coffee, but genuinely disappointed by the customer service and poor expectation of business hours. It wouldn't even be the man behind the register's error, if he could have just told me in the drive thru that they were closing in stead of just ignoring me. Over all- pretty lamee. read more

This was a quick and easy place to grab a coffee and get some work done! There is plenty of parking in the back so don't be distraught when it seems like the 5-7 spaces up front are taken up. The barista was nice and knowledgeable and gave me a few suggestions before I ordered. I didn't see any sugar free options on their menu board but that's definitely something I would have asked next time! The ICED Hazelnut toffee coffee itself was good (honestly wished I ordered it hot once I got it)! 32 ounces got me 4 espresso shots which did the work in keeping me alert and focused. I definitely tasted the hazelnut and hint of coconut so it was balanced. My one "ugh" with the place was its overbearing smell of bacon / meat & eggs that made me cover my nose each and every time. Where do I even begin, absolutely amazing. I've been coming here since they first opened since it is so close to my school and have loved it ever since the first sip. The coffee is amazing and well crafted by the lovely baristas, my personal favorite right now is the Sweater Weather 100% recommend :) While I haven't tried many of the actual food items on the menu, the few that I have had are delicious. The other day I ordered a Breakfast Bagel sandwich with a chicken patty and cheese and oh my word it hit the spot. They used to have a pesto grilled cheese but it was a limited menu item, you guys should totally bring it back!! The mini bakery is also very delicious, my mom is a personal fan of the banana bread muffins. Lovely spot to study and relax, lots of space and extension cords on every table so that you can keep your devices charged. This location has cycled through several different businesses in recent years, wondering if it's just a bad location in general. They have a few high top tables in the middle and tables around the outside. The bar has a glass pastry case that houses some delightful looking items. They offered chocolate croissants, huge muffins, breakfast sandwiches, scones, kolaches and some other items. We ended up trying the breakfast sandwiches - the flavor was good, but they were VERY greasy. The parchment paper they were wrapped in were saturated and stuck to the table. We also ordered the fall coffee flight - definitely not something to split with someone. We really enjoyed the butter pecan and salted caramel - the pumpkin cold brew was too strong for us (we aren't cold brew people, though so take that with a grain of salt) the final one was a brown sugar which was very coffee-forward. The flight came with a mini muffin and a miniature mini-donut which were a nice touch and enhanced the coffee. Service was friendly and patient as we looked at their extensive menus to decide what we wanted to order. All in all we paid $27 for the two sandwiches and the flight ($15) so it's pretty comparable to other coffee shops. read more

Absolutely 5 stars for the cost and quality of the cold brew. I took a star away simply because I didn't try any of the food options. However if the food is half as good as the cold brew, easily 5 stars all day. Service was prompt and friendly at 6:15 in the morning. Saw this place pop up as an ad on IG and decided to stop in for breakfast. I got their coffee flight to be able to taste test their creations. I also got the Avocado toast. I dined in and the tables were pretty dirty. They were super busy though so I just picked the least dirty table lol. My order came out within 10 mins and was brought to my table. Before I could even try anything two people got up from their tables to ask me about my coffee flight bc it looked so good! The looks were not deceiving because all of the flavors were delicious! I also loved that it came with a mini donut and piece of chocolate. The chocolate was hard as a rock and that is not an exaggeration. I made the mistake of trying to bite right into it with my front teeth and it was like biting a fork. The mini donut was cute and tasty ! The avocado toast had good flavor and I loved the tomatoes and balsamic but they NEED to get a different bread for this. It needs to be on a thick, sturdy type of bread like a French bread, sourdough or whole grain bc the flimsy wonder bread they put it on was not it. It absorbed so much of the moisture from the avocado that it was a mushy mess. They only gave me two tiny napkins so I had to go and wash my hands after eating my toast because my fingers literally went through the soft bread lol. The parking is not that great. There's multiple stores in a very small lot. I got super lucky and got the last parking spot but getting out was crazy bc of the cars trying to get my parking spot while also leaving room for cars leaving the drive-thru. I am definitely coming back though. Their coffee is bomb! I highly recommend the coffee flight if you've never been here so that you can taste 4 different coffees before committing to a full size drink. The flight is expensive though. The price range for the coffee is pretty on point to what the other coffee places in town charge. I got a small caramel latte. It was good. I also bought a blueberry scone. They warmed it up for me. I was just going to take a bite, but I ended up eating it all. I did notice that they also sell lunch items. You can also buy packaged coffee grounds. This is located right off the highway, which will make it easy to pick up and go on your way to work. They also have inside seating and Wi-Fi. The staff That I interacted with were super friendly. Love Wicked Voodoo! Was excited to see they now have a location here in San Antonio! They are in the Sea World area off military and 151. Staff were so friendly! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The woman who helped me was so kind. She gave me suggestions on what to order and even told me if I didn't like it she would make me something else. I had an iced caramel latte with toffee nut. I'm not usually a fan of toffee nut but i really liked it! Something I'll start ordering regularly. There are so many other coffees that look good on the menu. Over the weekend me and my mom stopped by to get some coffee. It was down the street from where I live and i haven't had the opportunity to try it. It was a great decision!! We ending up getting the flight of coffee with seasonal flavors and the waffle flight. They were all so amazingly delicious!! We ordered and within 5 min got out both orders. The drive through was busy then inside. They have some seating inside and nice big windows to look out. The only thing I have to say was the waffle where a bit harder then I expected but still have a lot of flavor. The toppings did help soften the after a bit, but over great taste. I recommend the Haystack Toffee and The Queen. I had a friend try the seasonal coffee flight and they enjoyed it. Top tier matcha perfection!! Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here! Wicked Voodoo has easily made it onto my top 10 list for coffee shop matcha lattes it is so good. The café itself is clean and sleek with fresh flowers on every table top and friendly baristas to take your order. It always smells of something delicious baking or brewing, and though I've yet to try their pastries or meals, the pastry case is always stocked with things that look so delicious. The cupcakes in particular look EXCEPTIONALLY good for a coffee shop. As mentioned, their Matcha Lattes are divine! I like to order mine with Almond Milk, one pump of Rose, and one pump of Vanilla. At requesting Rose the first time around, the barista recommended trying it this way as the Rose alone could be overwhelming, and her recommendation was absolutely delicious. There are TONS of other flavors to choose from but this combination has been so yummy that I personally don't feel the need to try others. The subtle sweetness of the Vanilla and strong floral notes of Rose blend so harmoniously for a rich but comforting flavor profile, and the Almond Milk is an excellent base for the flavors, adding a nice nuttiness to the drink's overall sweetness. The combination of flavors really complements the natural flavor of the matcha without overpowering it, and the drinks are always crafted so well. They're so smooth and easy to drink that before you know it it's all gone. I'd highly recommend trying Wicked Voodoo and urge you to go asap if you're looking for a comforting cup of matcha.
