My sister and I tried Ambassadors Coffee and both ordered the banana matcha, but unfortunately it wasn't great. The matcha was pretty watered down, and we couldn't taste much banana flavor at all. Maybe it would be worth trying a different matcha, not sure. The location is also a bit confusing -- you have to go around to the back of the building to find the entrance. Inside, the seating/study area was super packed, and we were lucky to grab a table in the hallway. Overall, not the best but not the worst.
Took me longer than i'd like to admit to find the stairs to get to the second floor lol. But once I entered I was greeted by a friendly face behind the counter, who proceeded to make one of the best chai lattes I've had in a while. seating seemed limited, however I do love their work/study area.
I was looking for a place to get some work done, and this was one of the only coffee shops open late major plus since most close early. I instantly fell in love with this spot and honestly wish it was closer to me. They have multiple workstations, private rooms, a podcast room, and even a worship room that's open all night. I ordered a vanilla iced matcha and it was delicious! The only small issue was that the matcha started separating a bit making the texture slightly grainy but overall still really good. I ended up working in the worship room and there were people worshiping which made the atmosphere so peaceful. It's such a cute Christian space to meet others, feel inspired, and be productive. Definitely a hidden gem for late-night creatives
I loved this place SOOO much! I am obsessed with it! The spiritual atmosphere is so present and amazing! They had some beautiful artwork you could buy. I wish I had the money to afford the piece I wanted. The barista's are so kind and helpful. My husband got the trifecta. I believe it was and it was delicious. I got a seasonal I believe jasmine Matcha it was definitely floral. I'm not sure I would get it again, but I'm glad I tried it. They had a little prayer board that you could write your prayers and post them to it and I guess somebody could pick it up and pray for you and I thought that was amazing and then it looked like they had a prayer room coming, where people could just go and pray in there and then I thought that was amazing and it looked like they might've had a meeting rooms where people could go and meet together, but I didn't go back and look at those. We also bought some fresh honey and it is really tasty. It was a little pricey, but it's fresh so I think it's worth the price and I would buy it again. Ultimately, I would definitely come here again and recommend it to others. this place is such a hidden gem!
What a safe haven! There are desks at workstations, meeting rooms, and a large worship room! I LOVE that the matcha doesn't come sweetened like someone is trying to give me diabetes in a cup. The earthy flavor really got to shine through! There is so much space and this is such a safe space! The hibiscus refresher was also delicious. I am so excited to see you again soon!
The people are always nice and the coffee is strong but tastes great! My husband gets the mocha with strawberry syrup and I get the vanilla latte. Both are amazing. They also use homemade syrups! We come here whenever we are on this side of town. Definitely recommend!
As a remote worker with a second job in the Ridge Shopping Center, I stopped by this coffee shop to see if it would be a good place to focus mid-mornings & it absolutely is! The space is cute, welcoming, & consistently clean, especially the collaborative area where I plan to work. It stays fairly quiet during mid-mornings & I love that the doors can be closed to keep noise down. I've visited three times with the first two visits having small mix ups on my food/drink, but mistakes happen & the staff was apologetic for it. On my third visit, Gabriel took great care of me & recommended the Peach Mango Refresher, which I now love & will keep ordering. Thank you for creating such a cozy, inviting environment. I'll definitely be back often for my remote work days!

This is a true Kingdom hotspot! I went to an event there called Proverbs & Profits, and I was absolutely blown away by the culture and the atmosphere. This isn't just a coffee shop -- it's a Christian, business-minded CEO's safe haven. You can feel the intentionality behind every corner. There are creation rooms, collaboration spaces, and even a 24-hour worship center. Plus counseling!! What, at a coffee shop??? And it's free! This place is buried treasure for faith-driven visionaries (like me, the one in purple). I only had time to grab a lemonade because I was rushing to my networking event which was located in the back, but it was refreshing. And the owner (Brenda) radiates such an authentic love for God. I didn't get to speak with her personally, but to watch her is to witness someone running a business with rare transparency and incredible anointing. If you're a believer, creative, or Kingdom builder looking for community, inspiration, and peace, Ambassador's Coffee is where you need to be. I left inspired, recharged, and surrounded by the kind of people I want in my world.
Adorable coffee shop! It's a great place to relax or get some work done. I ordered a latte with their house-made brown sugar, and it was very good. I also tried the jalapeño kolache--delicious! I would definitely return. The barista was extremely helpful and generous. He let me sample their drip coffee and took his time explaining the different drinks. I also loved how he interacted with other customers--he knew them by name and made thoughtful recommendations. Super nice and welcoming! They are Christian-based and host many events, which adds to the warm, community-focused atmosphere. Highly recommend!
When visiting San Antonio has ve to make a pit stop for coffee here. Such a peaceful place to sit, relax, read, work and fellowship. Everyone so nice and the service was amazing.

To my one and only, YHWH. The ambiance, service, and genuine sense of welcome here are unmatched. I had the best time catching up with a dear friend, and it made the visit even more special. I originally planned to order an iced jasmine tea, but I took the recommendation and tried a Strawberry Matcha - my very first one ever. It was absolutely delicious: perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and exactly what I didn't know I was craving. Safe to say it won't be my last. read more

After leaving the sauna, I decided to find a (new to me) local coffee shop. Ambassadors Coffee was 10 minutes away and boasted some good reviews. At first, I thought I was in the wrong location, but it turns out that the shop is located on the backside and upper level of the shopping center. Note to self, you'll have to climb some stairs to get up there. I didnt see an elevator, but then again, I wasn't looking for one. As soon as you walk in, you'll see the coffee counter with a smiling face. I was warmly greeted/welcomed by the barista. He named several house-made syrups, as well as conventional syrups. I asked him to surprise me with something sweet but not hazelnut and maybe seasonal. He recommended a dirty chai and added some caramel. I also ordered a quesito (puerto rican flaky pastry filled with cream cheese. Kinda like a rolled danish). Both were out of this world. First time having either of them and now I want more lol. There are four separate sitting areas, one to the left of the coffee bar (I didn't go in there), one immediately in front of/adjacent to the coffee bar with a few tables and chairs, a workspace area, and a more loungey area with big leather couches and church style seating. I sat in the latter room. In addition to the church style seats, there's a stage and a pool table. There was a nice calm/chill vibe with Christian music playing in the background. Ambassadors, I'll be sure to see yall after each trip to the sauna! read more
I was out running errands and made pit stop here for a quick espresso. Thanks to previous reviews I was able to find the entrance easily. Upon entering, I looked around. The shop appears to be part of a ministry/co-op working space. The cafe counter itself is very attractive. The barista was chatting with friends and approached the register after I did. He didn't say anything to me, not even a hello. I asked for a cappuccino and it came out quickly. I enjoyed the unique art and drinkware. It tasted smooth and rich, not too milky. I wish the environment had been a little more inviting. I think I'll come back if I'm in the area or if there is a bakery pop-up, but I wouldn't go out of my way for a second visit. read more

Finally got an opportunity to check out @ambassadors.coffee. Amazing cold brew and a chess lesson for M from one of the owners. You can tell walking in that the space is centered to God. I love seeing ministry done in unique spaces. "Where two or more are gathered". We will return soon! read more

First things first: this place is clearly a Christian establishment once you are inside. The literature is focused on that, the attached coworking space is statedly Christian, and the name makes more sense when paired with it really being Kingdom Coffee once you're inside. This is, legitimately, probably the best latte I've had in San Antonio. The quesito? Amazing. Flaky. Not too sweet. The hot chocolate my companion grabbed on this chilly January day was also not overly sweet and had a distinct chocolate flavor. The barista was warm and friendly, asked my name and why we came in (our eye doctor is one door down). She seemed legitimately engaged in excellent customer service. Unfortunately, the man that she informed me was the manager, was not so welcoming. Seems I'm not the type of customer they'd like to attract. I get it, not everywhere is for everyone. Some more overt signage outside would be great, if this is the intention, so that folks don't make the trek upstairs. We will sigh a little bit when we walk by next week to pick up our glasses from the neighbor. If you're Christian, stop in here - it is great coffee and excellent pastries! read more

We wanted to try out a new coffee place in town, and had seen some really good reviews for Ambassadors. We walked in early and while there were only two other people there, the barista was very friendly and answered all of our newbie questions. We ended up ordering an americano, cappuccino, kolache, and a quesito pastry. While everything was being made we wandered around to check out the place. Since there are several co-working spaces and conference rooms, it is a very large setup. I could definitely see it being a great spot to do some remote work or have a relatively small meeting. The back room where we ended up sitting is very large and also serves as a worship area. Very comfy couches in the back though! Our drinks and food were done quickly and we went back to sit down. The kolache was jalapeno cheddar sausage and was excellent! The quesito pastry was very flaky and was a nice lighter option. Both of our coffees were very flavorful roasts and we thoroughly enjoyed them. We really enjoyed the ambiance, the drinks, and the food. Hoping we have a good excuse to come back regularly!! read more
Ambassadors entrance is located (doors) at the back to the building, up the stair & to your right. I don't like taking the building elevator, but they have it. Been here a couple times & always been greeted as soon as I walked in. So far I've only had their iced & hot lattes and I really like it. They've always been helpful answering what syrups they have and explain how sweet the syrups can be, i personally like flavor but not overly sweet. And to my surprise I've been having hot lattes more, i usually go with iced so the drink aren't a complete fail when trying out coffee shops but they always nail it. They do have alot of seating options for those who do work, and I've noticed it as a quiet coffee shop everytime i drop by. And they do worship & prayer services (check their Instagram for updates). read more

Awesome place to study work and socialize, they have a quiet room, a pool room, and some tables around the usual coffee place, 100% really good place to work, they exclusively play Christian music and it is like a Christian-centric place so if you're into to that cool but just a heads up bc I was kinda thrown off when I got there Drinks are average standard cappuccino ordered it was good read more

One of the best strawberry matcha's. Bananas foster matcha is also excellent. Had to try the coffee too and, mocha was good. Service was good, people very friendly. It is a Christian themed coffee shop, they play Christian music. They have offices /spaces for rent. read more

great atmosphere, sometimes they have live worship. Great spot for socializing, have a pool table and couches to relax on and a work space area to study. Drinks are pretty good, i don't like exploring so i always get the same. Service is good, they staff is friendly, have a bunch of people around so hard to tell who works here and who doesn't. this is one of the best coffee shops in san antonio really great coffee and the baristas are super friendly if youre a coffee drinker they have good specialties and classics to choose from also if you want something particular that you might not see on the menu, theyre very helpful to give you what you want specifically the space is great for studying or getting work done because they have a room with office chairs, desks and outlets there's also a cozy space in the back with couches and often have faith based events going on read more
Ambassadors coffee is a Christian coffee shop. You walk in and you feel the warmth of the place immediately. The barista was friendly and embraced my coffee complaints to help guide my selection of drink. I complained I always get warm milk and so he guided me to the Das Machine, which is a double shot of espresso with agave to sweeten and balance the bitter notes of your typical espresso. My wife chose a cappuccino, which isn't all foam like in most places. It was well balanced and just the right amount of sweet. For a light breakfast we got a Quesito, a mix between a cheese danish and a pan dulce. So...the drinks...wonderful...and most importantly they tasted like coffee. Their triple basket Aussie menu is coffee forward and the mixology is able to provide full dark roast flavor while cutting the bitterness and NOT just serving you warm milk with no real coffee flavor. The pastry...it's good. Probably could have been toasted a little more. If we lived here...I would definitely work in the co-op area. Oh, and the back area...very cozy and comfy. Lastly...the service. Jackson, our barista, was extremely helpful with drink suggestions and a wealth of knowledge about different roasts and techniques to brew our espresso at home. We will definitely be back next time we're in town. read more

Super cool place! Very good coffee, I assume their syrups are made by them because the lavender syrup is unique-not too sweet and not too bitter. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and the music was 10/10. read more
