One of my favorite San Antonio coffee shops! Ceramicist and former coffee shop + specialty tea shop barista here! I didn't realize Curator doubles as a pottery shop the first time I came here, and now I'm absolutely OBSESSED with the place. I love coming in to check out the pieces up for sale while sipping on a matcha latte. The baristas are always super friendly and never fail to make an excellent cup of matcha, and the place itself has such an artistic and inspiring atmosphere that it's a great place to relax or get some work done. I highly recommend stopping by for a delicious treat and to support talented local artists! You won't be disappointed!!
This was a cute little coffee shop I was introduced to at a Yelp Event. The ambiance of this place is very chilled and nice. They keep the place well kept and clean too. Soon as you walk in you can see a wall of pottery you can look at and even purchase if you like. The place is not just known for their coffee but they also set up painting and crafting classes (i did a paint pottery class here through yelp that was fun). They have a few seats too if you want to sit and relax with your drink. I came at a busy party of the day it seemed so didnt get to sit down. The ladies that worked at the counter was friendly and nice. They told me some recommendations on latte flavors and liked how they had milk substitutes. I ordered 2 matcha lattes with oat milk, one lavender and the other rose flavored. I liked how they flavors were subtle and didnt overpower the matcha flavor. It was very delicious and would recommend this drink or another latte they offer. It is somewhat far from where I'm at but if I happen to be around next time, I would absolutely come back.
Curator Coffee was the perfect stop to catch up on my finances - quiet, comfortable, and welcoming. The hazelnut latte was delicious. Definitely a place I'll return to.
Yum! Cool drinks/coffee and beautiful pottery! A Gem of a place! Staff is sooo nice! And I love talking to them!
I love their chai lattes and hot cocoa. The service is very friendly and I love looking around at all the pottery pieces. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy. The clay classes they offer in the evening are tons of fun and the pieces make great gifts. I've done their ornament, mug, berry bowl, and mushroom garden stake classes!
Popped in for a quick pick me up. There was seating inside and a small table and bench outside. Seating was full around weekday lunch time. There was fresh pastries that looked delicious. Additionally there was locally made craft goods on sale. Standard drink menu was available with a variety of flavor syrups. The staff offered suggestions for popular combos. Bright space and def worth a stop if you're in the area. Prices are just above typical.
Curator Coffee is one of my absolute favorite spots. The staff is truly the sweetest--always warm, welcoming, and down-to-earth. I love coming here not just for the drinks, but for the people too. My go-tos are the coffee and matcha (they do both so well), but honestly, I also love asking the staff to surprise me. They always come up with something fun and delicious that I wouldn't have thought to order myself. The vibe inside is adorable and super chill--like the kind of place you want to hang out in for hours. And the pottery for sale? So tempting. It's beautifully curated (of course) and gives the space such a creative, cozy feel.
Coffee and atmosphere were great for a quick morning date. Baristas were both very nice, the music was fun and added to the experience. Loved all the pottery for sale and the little coasters were adorable. Over all a great place to stop in
Iced lavender coffee with oat milk = 10/10. It has strong floral notes but it doesn't taste like grandma's bathroom! The matcha white chocolate macadamia cookie is also a must try! Don't get it warmed! Eat it as is. It's moist inside and has the perfect blend of flavors. The shop has plenty of seating. Good for sitting down and working or reading. The shop also showcases many pieces of ceramic art made the baristas. I ended up leaving with a cute flower holder. Excited to bring it home!
They are so friendly and the coffee is amazing. I always get the pistachio latte and recently also got a bagel with cream cheese. Everything is perfect, always.
Proof that you can create something special in a strip mall. I enjoyed my chai latte and warm banana bread today while I reconciled my January bank statements. The people were nice and cheerful.
I got the pistachio hot latte. Cute design. It was perfectly sweetened and creamy. My friend enjoyed her iced matcha latte. The girl who took my order was nice and welcoming. The other girl making the coffees had a little attitude when we asked her for two waters. I didn't think it was much to ask but it wasn't even busy. Nice place to hangout and catch up with my friend, other people were working/ reading.
We went today to curator coffee and ordered a caramel iced decaf latte and a honey iced coffee. Their coffee was amazing. I'm gonna say one of the best coffee shops in San Antonio. If you've never been here before you need to try it !! They sell homemade pottery, homemade dog bones and other little knickknacks. They have a book exchange the only way you can get a book is to take one and exchange it for another. It was packed no tables available so that should tell you something about this place, it's a very quiet place. There were a lot of people in there working on their computers and some doing some college homework. I do want to mention that they have these homemade pastries, some are vegan and some or not. We ordered the quiche with bacon and it was amazing.
Nice place to meet friends not so much to study or work. Location can get loud. I do like that the alternative milks are low cost! Many places charge $1 read more

Hi Tallya, thank you for visiting us. We are so sorry you didn't…
The absolute cutest coffee shop with great handmade items to leave with! The ambiance is quaint and very clean. The staff is so friendly and I enjoyed talking to them about the different ways to make coffee. I got a pistachio latte and I remember that it didn't leave an after taste and it was not overly sweet. I bought the coffee mug I drank out of! read more

Very cool place! So my friend invited me to get a coffee with her for a Yelp event she RSVP. The place is a small gem tucked away in a shopping center off of Thousand Oaks. The staff is super friendly and continually checked on us during our visit. The place is clean and the atmosphere screams cozy. My friend ordered the cold brew lavender latte with oat milk, and I ordered the cold brew chocolate latte with oat milk. I did like that they offered milk substitutions considering I'm not a huge fan of whole milk. They asked us if it was for here or to go we decided to stay and enjoy the nice coffee shop. The shop does offer a few activities that you can participate in like painting and clay crafts. They support local artists which I thought was awesome! The owner makes a lot of the mugs that are used there and they sell a large variety of items. I really enjoy myself and my coffee. The lavender coffee sounds unique but it is definitely a must try. I really enjoyed the aroma you get with your sip. The chocolate one was good but if I had to choose again I would definitely go with the lavender. The coffee had a nice crisp clean taste that you don't find very often in your coffee. I really liked my cat coaster. I am a cat mom so that definitely made me feel at home. If you're in the area I would stop by and support this wonderful business and everything they have to offer. The pastries looked great so I'll have to try it next time I stop in. The owner did mention that they do monthly flavors so I would love to see what those specials taste like. Great suggestion by Yelp! read more

I came to Curator Coffee for the Yelp Badges & Brews event with my dad who is also a big coffee lover! Curator Coffee was easy to find and had a cute little store front with a small table and a larger bench out front for patrons. Inside, it had a very casual atmosphere with pottery and artwork everywhere you looked. I liked that the space was one that is relaxing but also gave you so many things to look at because of the creative pieces. There is plenty of seating if you include all of the stools at the coffee bar area, but it did seem like they could use a few more tables. We ordered the following: - Cappuccino with Sugar-free Almond Milk - Cappuccino with regular milk - Cinnamon Roll The almond milk cappuccino was good, but definitely not one of the best I've had. I also thought it seemed to cool off a lot quicker than at some other coffee shops that I frequent. While I loved the unique mug my drink was served in, it leads me to believe that they don't hold the temperature of drinks as well as some other mugs. Each drink was also served on a hand made coaster which was cute. As for the cinnamon roll, it was good and a nice sweet treat but also nothing that I would write home about/ order again. All in all, this is a cute coffee shop that I would visit again if a friend asked me too, but isn't one I would select myself or add into my usual coffee shop rotation. read more

This is a very cozy little coffee shop that makes you feel like you are visiting a friends house. It was my first time coming here but I loved that the employees greeted many of the customers by their names. The drinks and food were delicious. I got a vanilla lavender latter with oat milk and it was perfect. My favorite drink that I tried was the match, I highly recommend it. I got the vegan chorizo taco and a cinnamon roll. Both were good. I can't wait to come back! read more

First, I love coffee. Second, I love an eclectic business especially a bookstore, florist or a coffee shop. Taking advantage of my Yelp elite privilege I decided to swoop by and grab some coffee. I love this place. And yes, it's eclectic. I was greeted warmly and given the first timer's introduction. Very artsy vibe going on. All of the items on the shelf spaces are for sale and are created by local artists or the baristas. They even have pottery classes you can sign up for. I chose an iced lavender espresso and to start my morning right I thought I'd try something new. I can't remember what I had but I know it had orange flavor to it. I had both with almond milk and both were great. Overall, I like that it's a cute little space to have a coffee, sit & chat and/or purchase art made by locals. I'll definitely be back. read more

Thank you so much for visiting us and providing such a sweet feedback…
We had such a wonderful trip to Curator Coffee, and I'm so glad to know about them. We stopped by on a Friday night after dinner. The two young ladies working at the counter were so friendly and spent some time telling us about their pottery and coffee concept. It just so happens that my mother-in-law's birthday is coming up, so we bought her a mug and some coffee beans. I know she'll love the story behind the pottery and the shop. The mug we picked out happened to have been made by the woman who made our coffee. So we got some pics to send to my mother-in-law to go along with the mug, coffee, and story. The shop was not very busy, yet several groups were enjoying their time making their own pottery. They were pleasant and didn't mind us walking around them to look at the art on the walls. The coffee was yummy. My husband and I each got a hot mocha coffee. We had planned to get cold, but then they asked if we wanted them hot, and since it was a little chilly out, we said YES! We'll definitely be back and hope to go when we have some time to get artsy. read more

I love this coffee shop so much! Such a creative environment with cute decorations and art from local artists for sale! I've already made a mental note to buy a Mother's Day gift from here come May. :) The service is warm and friendly and the coffee is some of the best quality I've had in San Antonio. Decent about of seating too. I love this spot and am excited to go to their tent at the San Antonio Coffee Festival soon. Wish they had a location closer to downtown!! So so good, go try for yourself! read more
The pistachio latte with almond milk is where it's at!!!! The ambiance was quiet, and relaxing music was playing in the background. Wow! The pistachio laye is definitely a must try. You can tell it was made with live and the service was spectacular! She let me know that there will be another guest baker tomorrow and I'm ready! read more

This is my go-to coffee shop. 1. The coffee is very flavorful, regardless of the drink that you get. I am a sucker for their drink of the month. 2. We attend their ceramic classes at least once every couple of months. 3. This is a great place to get some work done or just run in and grab a coffee to go. The atmosphere is very inviting. read more
Well balanced coffee with tranquil ambience. Quiet little coffee shop, with a bakery (Lovebirds) add-on on the weekends. On a whim to try out a coffee shop off the beaten trail, this one did not disappoint. The area has a nice non-corporate place to serve up a cup-of-joe. They take great care to ensure that the coffee you order is the coffee you want... I thoroughly enjoyed my honey latte. It was pleasant - I'm not a fan of flavored lattes, but this one was subtle. Good service, clean dining area, plenty of space in the strip mall parking lot. If ever in the area again, I would certainly consider visiting this coffee joint again. read more

Really cute shop! They had some artwork, art supplies, and pre loved books available for sale. The staff was very welcoming, especially being a first timer. The barista mentioned that the coffees are lightly flavored/sweetened so we can taste the coffee, which is what I loved most about this place. I got the rose latte, and I LOVED it. Correct me if I'm wrong but idk if any cafe that serves a rose latte! Can't wait to go back and try the hot version and a couple snacks. read more

This is some of the best balanced coffee you will taste. The baristas do a really incredible job. They also exude a great joy in interacting with their customers and make you feel at home. I love cappuccinos, and I think they make the best or at least top 3 in the city, for certes. As for the establishment... it is eclectic. You see a great number of handmade objects that you can buy and take home. It is quite enchanting and my wife bought me a beautiful mug here last Christmas. It is worth taking a turn to see the beautiful things people have made while you take your coffee. A very neat environment to enjoy your coffee and see some art. You don't want to miss this gem of a place! read more

Loved this spot! Cute environment, great coffee, and loved how they support local artists. I love how they serve in the local mugs and allow customers to purchase the mugs they use. My SIL is a potter and makes her own mugs and sells them here. I gave it a star off bc the food was NOT good. It was rubbery and gummy. But would definitely go back. read more
