My first and last visit here. Since this was the first time, me and my 2 nieces tried to find something without caffeine that they could enjoy. The person taking our order was visibly annoyed when we asked questions and made certain gestures when I decided to add one more drink before finalizing the order. My nieces commented on how uncomfortable the interaction was and it made me want to cancel the whole order. We got the berry matcha, cereal cold brew, and don't recall the third. The drinks were ok, but the cereal is soggy fruity pebbles and the texture just ruins the drink. Overall, it just was not a good experience.
banana matcha was sickeningly sweet, tasted artificial and like straight sugar no matcha flavor BUT THAT CEREAL COLD BREW finally a place that does cereal milk right and it doesn't taste strangely lavender it was so strong and good
First time here! A lot of natural light and very open also very clean. Multiple areas to sit including an outdoors area. Staff super friendly and good/drinks come out quick. I had a cheese Kolache but didn't taste much cheese. I also ordered a caramel latte very yummy! I definitely recommend this coffee spot!
It's always a good day when I get coffee from Merit. They've reopened after their renovation, and the interior looks incredible--super aesthetically pleasing.
This place is very convenient to the office and when you want to treat yourself to a good drink this is the place. I ordered the blackberry matcha today which it was good but it had too much cold foam for me. The flavor of the matcha was there which I liked. The price of the matcha with oat milk ($1.00) is $9.98 for a 12 oz which is a little expensive for the size honestly. The service is always friendly and they make the drinks in time to head back to the office. They also have an app where you can place your order ahead of time. The coffee shop has a walk up counter , has plenty of seats inside and outside to do homework, work or meeting up with friends. The place has always been busy when I stopped by.
The vibes here are awesome. This location is pretty big and also has wifi and lots of tables. The workers were also super friendly. I ordered a strawberry matcha and it came up to about $8 with tax and it was a more on the pricey end for me. However, it is really delicious. The matcha has a beautiful green color and the strawberries don't taste artificial. I would come again to try more of their drinks.
The Stone Oak location is huge. There's tons of tables inside and it was full on a Tuesday late afternoon. We sat outside after ordering two lattes, cappuccino, house coffee, and kids hot chocolate. The coffee here is delicious and I wish there were a few more food options. I got a snack tray (salami/cheese/almonds/chocolate) but it was $7, pricey for what you get.
Stopped by this cozy coffee shop and tried the strawberry matcha--it was really good, with a nice balance of flavors. However, I think I'd opt for a smaller size next time to keep the taste more consistent throughout the drink. For food, I ordered the tomato basil egg bite, but it was a bit dry and didn't quite hit the mark for me. I probably wouldn't order it again, but the coffee itself made up for it. Overall, I'd come back for the drinks, but I'd explore other food options next time!
A good place to get a drink (coffee, tea or other) and a snack. I ordered the Strawberry Mancha drink and a Blueberry muffin. Both are very good. Like other coffee shops the do have WiFi available
This coffee shop is really nice--the barista was super friendly and the menu is really interesting. I ordered an iced white chocolate mocha latte and it was great!
Finished our salads from Salata & my sweet-tooth/dessert loving friends wanted a Nothing But Bundt cake & coffee at Merit Coffee afterwards so off we went! They picked up a couple of White Raspberry Cakes and to drink here they ordered a Chai Tea Latte & a Regular Latte. I wanted to try their drip coffee($3.50) which was the North Star from Peru. The notes listed were Brown Butter, Amaretto & Blackberries. I was able to request a splash of Lactose-Free milk & Honey which the clerk squeezed out of a large plastic squeeze top container. The coffee was probably a medium roast with some acidity. I'm not akin to tasting the above notes listed and I did sweeten it up with honey. It was smooth, not bitter and I ended up adding Simple Syrup at the condiment station. My friends were gobbling up their bundt cakes as we were catching up on stuff. I was able to get a free refill which was nice. 1-star off because the unisex bathroom's trash can was full & the toilet paper was running out. I saw some extra rolls on the wash counter in a basket so I put one packaged TP roll above the TP dispensers. I hear they have Bakery Lorraine pastries so I'll have to call or check it out next time.
Great coffee spot - come early or there will be a wait - but even when it's busy it goes quickly. They have great baked goods and breakfast tacos as well ! Lots of space if u need to sit and do work.

Merit Coffee has one of my favorite strawberry matchas in town. It's flavorful and refreshing without tasting artificial. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of parking. Merit is the perfect place to meet friends or get some work done. read more
Finally decided to check this place out since I live right next door and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch and a strawberry matcha. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch was so good super creamy and absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again and could honestly see myself becoming a regular. The lobby was full of people working, which gave it such a great, productive vibe. Overall, a really nice spot and I'll definitely be back! read more

I like this place! It's well located, with plenty parking spaces and good service, I just wished it was bigger, they could use more space to sit more people. This time I had to do some work so I came here and I got my new favorite drink for the fall: Berry Cobbler Matcha! Not only is delicious, it is so beautiful!!! Feels like art in your mouth! My wife and I enjoy a flavor coffee drink - but without the sugar when possible. We were able to enjoy a Sugar Free Vanilla Latte our friendly cashier told us they had available. We sat down and were entertained by the busy busy grab and go atmosphere of this cute little shop and watched as people came and went . read more

The lemon cake I ordered was exquisite and satisfying. They also offer several diverse options of food. I visited Merit Coffee to work on some school assignments and the service was exceptional. It was clean and the temperature was comfortable. The coffee I ordered came with complimentary refills, which was an added bonus. The restrooms are clean. I would definitely be returning to Merit. read more

Vibe- This is a cool coffee shop that sits in a shopping center. There's some seats outside and a good amount of seating inside. Customer service- The best! All of the baristas were very welcoming and kind :) Food/drinks- I got a hot matcha latte with oatmilk and lavender and it was literally one of the best matchas I've had (and I've been to over 50 coffee shops with matcha)!! Parking- There's spots in the lot but you have to pay attention because some of them say reserved for office. read more

OVER... RATED I'm sorry. This place is overrated. The extra cost for the creamer options is ridiculous. It's like charging for mints at a restaurant. They probably charge for wifi access too. I cannot confirm I was afraid to ask. The coffee is decent. I wouldn't say it was worth the $4 especially when they charged $1.50 for a brewed coffee refill, insane. I would also add the service sucked. I stood at the counter for a while in front of some girl and I assume a manager and was ignored. I was the only person at the counter too. Not sure what the deal was. I guess if you are not in a fancy polo or showing the proper accessories you don't exist her. I wonder if I should get a t-shirt with my paystub in it. Maybe then someone might take my order or answer a question?!? No worries. There is a Starbucks down the street, just saying. read more

We had a super early flight a couple weeks ago and decided to get some coffee before heading to our flight. They had a very long line but the staff of two was able to move the line really quickly. To make it easier on the Merit Coffee team we decided to just get their regular hot coffee, and one of their breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was VERY strong and super hot (be careful). For the breakfast sandwich, I order their chorizo and egg breakfast sandwich, which was decent. The only reason why I am not giving them a full 5 stars is because the coffee was way too hot (dangerously hot) and I had to wait some good 15minutes with the lid open until I was able to take a sip. Thank you to the Merit Coffee team for their quick and friendly service! read more
Visited after lunch around 1pm. Ordered the matcha latte. I don't usually like their coffee because it has a slightly sour finish and more acidity than I like. They used a good amount of matcha powder and the traditional bamboo whisk method. That was pretty neat. However, after they poured the milk for latte the drink came out barely lukewarm. That was disappointing even though the taste was fairly decent. I'm sure it was because I ordered a large and the matcha and water came up to only 1/3rd of the cup. It sat for a few minutes because the milk was poured in and likely cooled. read more

Cute coffee shop with great service! They also offer teas and breakfast foods. A must stop if you are needing coffee on the go or if you need to relax! I'm not a fan of peanut butter but their hippie bar is delicious! Make sure to sign up for their rewards program! read more
The coffee here is so good!! I got the vanilla latte with a kolachi bread. There's a variety of coffee and teas which all sound so good. We ordered the butterfly tea, chai on ice and a kids hot chocolate. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and bread. read more

Modern and chic coffee place, that was called Local Coffee. Their coffee is pretty good and they sell bakery items. Called in my order because it was busy and I got it promptly. I had the hot honey vanilla latte and a caramel iced coffee! Gave me that coffee high! read more
