It's been nearly three years since my last visit, so I figure it's time for an updated review. I've been doing a cortado review series on social media (to practice video editing and stuff) and I had intended to select Aftersome Coffee as my latest victim-err coffee spot, the sheer number of people present caused my anxiety to win the battle and only order one drink. I brought Bucky with me, too, and he was a popular little man. Apparently they have specials whenever the Spurs win a playoff game, hence the extra long lines that day. That's super cool that they support our team and show such local pride that way! Anyhoodle, instead of ordering a cortado and a signature latte, I decided to just order the peanut butter mocha with banana cold foam. What a dream. If you're into decadent coffee drinks that are more like desserts/treats, you need to try this version of a chunky monkey. As always, the staff are some of the nicest people you'll ever come across. They're good folks who make good coffee - what more can you ask for? read more

This is such a cute and delicious coffee truck to check out in SA! Right off Wurzbach parkway on Jonesmaltsburger sits the cutest little coffee trailer with the sweetest people running it! It's a two person crew so be patient but they sure did crank out the drinks faster than I personally could lol. I got the Taking Back Sundae and the bf got the Pierce the Vanilla - both were def 10/10! We already wanna go back not only for the vibes but for the coffee! read more

I am my best self after (I've had) some coffee - see what I did there? ;) I found this cute coffee truck on the Yelp search and popped by with my mom while running errands. It's in an unexpected area around the side of a building, and there was a gordita truck there as well when we went. The area also has some seating available, too. The truck is cute with a handmade wood bar for a country touch, and the menu has a little bit of everything - I ended up getting a horchata latte and my mom got their version of a peanut butter latte, both iced, and both delicious. They have a good variety here and offer customizations like flavored cold foams and alternative milks. Service was friendly and we really enjoyed our drinks! read more

Aftersome Coffee is such a hidden gem in San Antonio! I stopped by after a run at McAllister Park, and it was the perfect post-run treat. Their twilight menu is so fun and creative. I ordered the "Where the Hell You Been" mocha and it was absolutely delicious. The flavor was rich and smooth without being too sweet. The staff were so nice and welcoming, and I really appreciated how relaxed the atmosphere felt. There was plenty of parking, which made it super convenient to pop in after my workout. I also picked up a sticker sheet for my junk journal, which was such a cute surprise and a fun little bonus. read more

This is exactly what I want my coffee experience to be from the barista. I told her it was my first time and she asked me what I liked and recommended some things. On their menu they even have a 'barista choice' and IMO everyone should have this as an option because they know what they are best at making. read more

Aftersome Coffee is such a creative outdoor pop up! I stopped by and they had Twilight themed drinks, which was such a cool idea. I tried "The Eclipse," a pumpkin cream cold brew, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly and you could tell they put a lot of thought into the theme and menu. The coffee trailer is set up in the parking lot of a business so parking was super easy and the service was quick and friendly. Very cool coffee shop out of a mini trailer in a parking lot. Easily accessible and easy parking. I got my go-to non-fat iced vanilla latte. They didn't have non-fat milk, just 2% which was fine for me. The latte was cold and refreshing, just how I like it. The service was very friendly and quick. Took advantage of the beautiful weather this morning and visited Aftersome Coffee. Plenty of parking and shaded outdoor seating are available if visiting this coffee trailer. We enjoyed the creative flavor combinations of the Shawty (salted caramel & pistachio), the Nutty Valentine (hazelnut mocha with strawberry cold foam), and the Manda (peanut butter mocha latte). The staff was super friendly and did a superb job on our drinks. In addition, there were well behaved foster pups (from San Antonio Pets Alive) who kept us entertained while we enjoyed our delicious coffee. We were told the pups are there every weekend. Stopped off for some coffee, and glad I did. Aftersome has some unique espresso flavors. I tried a Banana Dirty Chai with some Banana Cream Foam over ice. It was a tasty delight for a pre-afternoon snack. Well balanced coffee and the friendly service was great. Even though this little trailer coffee stand had a line bigger than its trailer, the staff moved the line along with a smile for each of its customers. The mood was great. They have some tables and umbrellas in place of you choose to stay. I would return to try the next item on their menu. Little but impressive. read more

Truly some of the highest quality, tastiest coffee drinks I've had the fortunate of having! I wish i got multiple drinks. The owners are friendly and forthcoming and will answer any question you have. Their roast is strong and has a medium body. They have your standard coffee drinks but their staple beverages are to die for! I loved the Audrey which was a vanilla latte with blueberry cold foam. It's owned by two beautiful ladies who were both previously local baristas that decided to create something of their own, and I'm so happy that they did! The coffee truck is so cute, I haven't seen another like it in town! Being well trained baristas who know their stuff, Aly and Ali can create the perfect drink just for you. Just tell them what you usually get and what you're looking for and they will personally craft something up for you if it's not on their extensive menu! Alison also has extremely beautiful handwriting so I love when she writes my name on the drinks!! Also their menu is top notch with flavors that aren't common at most other coffee spots. It adds a unique vibe to them because their drinks are hard to find!! Speaking of, the drinks!! ARE SO GOOD!! Iced Coffee with Bananas at Aftersome Coffee I didn't expect to love this as much as I did -- but wow. The bold cold brew mixed with banana was smooth, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweet. It tasted like a creamy banana smoothie met a strong iced coffee... and they got along really well. It's unique, comforting, and honestly kind of addictive. I'll definitely be back for more. One of my friends told me of this cute mobile coffee truck and I finally go the opportunity to try them! I got the Manda with vanilla cold foam. I actually don't like coffee itself, just love trying unique flavors so my experience is to limit the actual coffee in the drinks. The drink was delicious but I forgot to edit how much coffee I want in it so that took a toll on me at some point in the flavor. One of the baristas was so sweet and welcoming, she even tried recommending flavorings which was an awesome, definitely a big bonus for all the "go for it" folks out there. I wish I could give the truck 4.5/5 instead of 4 primarily because sipping on the drink at work in the first hour, the flavors started to separate and felt grainy at the bottom, unable to shake back into place so that particular drink may just need to be consumed in a shorter time frame.
