Came here for the first time couple weeks ago after church service. Every time I'm in Stone Oak, we pass by but never stopped by until now. We grabbed iced lattes mine had brown sugar syrup w/oat milk, iced vanilla w/oat and my brother got the opposite Golden milk with some turmeric I believe. This is a cute place for breakfast. I tried their Ube latte. The flavors were subtle. My daughter got their Oreo crepe and we got an omelet and breakfast sandwich. The crepe was delicious but the omelet and sandwich was okay. It was on the pricier side per plate and the portions were small. The seating area is small as well so come early on the weekend. My mom and I went yesterday to Lova Cafe and absolutely loved it. We had lunch and it was packed. It's a cozy little place that has great crepes and awesome service. When you have a manual wheelchair like my mom does, it's hard to open doors that aren't accessible. Our server helped with that! Just that small gesture of kindness goes a long way!! Got hungry so popped in here for some breakfast. I appreciate the crepe variety of sweet and savory. I ordered the crepe avocado fiesta which is part of the savory options. I appreciate that they take substitutions Erich I had opted out of the bacon and also requested potatoes instead of the salad. I really enjoyed the light texture of the crepe and the spicy tomato avocado pairing. The avocado was creamy it was a little like guacamole in a crepe but not really. Don't knock it until you try it! I washed all this down with a chai latte using oat milk. Again, appreciative of all the accommodations. Couldn't stop there so I split a sweet crepe which was the crepe Suzette. It's a beautiful orange crepe that has a whimsical taste. So glad I have experienced it. We sat outside bc it was a bit crowded inside. Of course, their food is terrific and they have excellent service. I had been telling Katrina about Ube, a purple yam native to the Philippines. We both had the Ube Latte and she liked it! I tried the Crepe Avocado Fiesta without the jalapeno heat and it was good. Katrina had the Crepe Alaskan, which was a generous portion. She had leftovers to take home. A cute little coffee shop I had bookmarked Lova cafe a few months ago. I happened to be in the area for a play date with my daughter. After our play date, we all decided to come here for brunch. We were seated right away. There's indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside. I ordered a matcha latte to drink and to eat I ordered the turkey bacon croissant sandwich. Both were very delicious! It came with a side salad that had a very mellow and tasty oil dressing. I enjoyed every bite! Service was great and prompt. Ambiance is casual, typical cafe vibes! Loved the decor and artwork too! Upon entering on the right is a small window filled with multiple selection of pastries. The cafe is quaint, with a couple of tables flanked by green velvet sofas, a small gold table lamp, and multiple regular seating for patrons to dine inside and out. I appreciate that each table contains a basket with napkins, wrapped utensils, coffee stirs, and condiments. Our waiter was very pleasant and welcoming. I was impressed by the soft leather menus and each entree contained a description and photo, so you know what to expect. My husband and I started with cafe mocha. We both ordered the California omelet. While we waited for our omelets we ordered a couple of pastries to try. Our cafe mochas was brought to us with a nice touch of coffee art. We enjoyed it. Unfortunately we were unimpressed with the pastries. My husband had a hazelnut filled pastry that was hard, and I had an apple muffin, which was just...meh. Our omelets were delivered and I have to say, I was never one for salad with breakfast. The omelets were as thin as crepes, which they also offer. They did have slices of fresh avocado. However, we were turned off by the chipotle drizzle. We just didn't think it complimented the omelets in any way. Overall the ambiance was upscale and sets a level of expectation. Prices should commensurate, but in this case prices are high and the flavors were not met. Paying nearly $60 (not including tip) is quite steep. We could not in good conscience recommend this place. read more

The service was kind but it felt a bit awkward to be taking something to go as this seems to be a sit down place. My friend owed me a brunch or dinner when I helped him with something. Throughout the months of figuring out where to go, I picked Lova Cafe since it was in a central location, fairly easy to get to for the both of us to meet. We were told to pick any spot to sit, which is cool because I thought they were an "order at the counter" type of place. It also wasn't overly crowded, and aside from a particularly noisy child, the ambiance was fine. Service was fantastic. Our waitress was funny and nice, and was very patient as two dorky millennials placed their orders. We both had black coffee and an ube latte, and we agreed the ube latte would be our after-brunch treat because it was SO GOOD. For my meal, I had the salmon toast. The egg was perfectly poached, and they really took into consideration the saltiness of the smoked salmon and didn't over-salt the egg or avocado. My friend had the ham, egg, and cheese croissant, and both of us cleaned our plates. After we finished our coffee drinks, we both ordered an adult beverage - I got a mimosa and he got a bellini. This was the only time we remembered to try each other's order haha. We had a really good time. I didn't get to try the crepe cakes, but perhaps I'll save that for another visit. read more

Oh, I will most definitely be back!!! The staff was nothing short of phenomenal. So kind, attentive, and professional! Truly top notch service throughout the entire meal. They were not too intrusive, but our table also never had a dirty dish or empty plate for more than a minute. I'm not 100% sold on the Ube latte actually being Ube since it has some of the nuttiness of taro root, but it certainly was delicious and beautifully crafted. It had some creamy notes to it like Ube potatoes should have, but it definitely tasted more like a blend of Ube & Taro. My DW and I went there today for a late breakfast. The place is clean, quiet, and pleasant but too cool for comfort. Other customers complained about the cold temperatures inside, and as the staff attempted to adjust the temperature, it fluctuated from cold to warm to cold again. We enjoyed our drinks; DW had an Ube Latte, and I had a cappuccino. She ordered the Salmon toast, and I ordered the avocado toast. We both thought the toasts were excellent and the right amount. There was a wait for a table which is understandable because it's very small inside, not much room to wait though. After being seated we ordered a French press to share and was given a dirty cup and saucer. The French press that was set on our table was plastic I think, maybe glass not sure but by the time we went to freshen up our coffee it was hardly even warm. We were asked if we wanted cream for our coffee and we said yes, come to find out later they charge you $1.00 if you want cream which we were not told. There is only one choice on the kids menu and it's basically as expensive as regular menu items. The "French" breakfast came with an omelet which looked more like it had been boiled in a bag or pre-made or something. It was was overcooked and when cutting into it I expected a decent cheese, no, it was shredded monterrey jack Mixed cheese that wasn't even melted. The salad just tasted dirty, I think it was just sprayed with a tiny bit of olive oil maybe, no flavor. Croissant was cold and brought out dry. I asked if they had butter or preserves and was brought out little packets. At a place like this I guess I expected real/fresh items. Crepe suzette was cold, the girl brought out the liquor in a measuring cup with a long bic Lighter you use to light candles to set it on fire...it barely even lit after the many times she tried. It didn't have time to burn before going out so it was just a cold topping on already cold crepes. The flavor of the crepes was the only decent thing. Worst part is that it cost a good amount of money for a disappointing meal. It's not a cute or upscale as they make it look on social media. Save your money, go somewhere else. read more

I understand it gets busy. However, it shouldn't take 20min to get a cup of coffee and a croissant. I went in and asked for a small Americano coffee and almond croissant (which is already made) it took them 20 minutes to give me the order. It is currently 11:12am as I write this review. The service is phenomenal. They have a seat-yourself process and water is brought out to you. The place is clean, including the bathroom which also has a baby changing table. They encourage you sit and work with two couch/table seating options. The food was great. We tried the mimosas, lattes both iced and hot, avocado toast, salmon toast, Nutella crepe, American breakfast, and a tea and had no complaints about anything. In love with LOVA! Finally made our way to LOVA Cafe and enjoyed everything so much that we immediately put it on our "regulars" list! We walked into this cute and clean place and were greeted immediately by a nice young lady who was also our server. I was excited to see they had Cortado on their coffee list, so I ordered that (few places in SA offer cortados) For breakfast, I chose the salmon toast. Freshly smashed avocado and a perfectly poached egg accompanied the delicious smoked salmon. DH chose the American breakfast plate. Some of the most beautifully colored yolks with bacon, potatoes, toast and a side salad. There were so many beautiful crepes and dessert options, we chose the Medovik (honey cake) to share and finish off our last few sips of coffee. I made one before, never having tasted one, and I wanted to see if mine came close to the real deal (it did!) Everything from atmosphere to food to service was excellent. I had came to visit for a work meeting and the interior is nice, it's a very chic design with very chill ambience. The staff was friendly and patient upon ordering. 5 STARS!! We stumbled upon this really cute cafe today. Bestie was in town visiting and we were waiting for a nearby paletas place to open up (& this momma needed coffee). Situated 0.2miles away, on the end of a decently sized shopping center, Lova Cafe did not disappoint! I saw photos of their lova cake and had to have it. I was pleasantly surprised to see the breadth of their menu offerings. Lova has savory and sweet crepes, pastries, farm cheese pancakes, salad, coffees, espresso drinks, non-espresso drinks, and several teas to choose from. For my party of 5, we were served in a fair amount of time. My eldest got the Alaskan salmon crepes, hold the capers. She enjoyed the crepes and I ate her lightly dressed mixed greens that accompanied the crepes. My best friend got a slice of the honey cake and an ube latte. Both were superb! Her son devoured the ferrero crepe, which did in fact have a ferrero rocher in the center, and a cherry hibiscus tea. He said the tea had a medicine-like taste but for some reason, he enjoyed every last sip lol. I ordered an iced salted caramel latte (very good!), the last slice of the lova cake and a tomato burrata salad. Unfortunately, by the time everyone had finished their cakes and crepes, my salad did not come. So we had to cancel that order. However.. that Lova cake was TO DIE FOR! It was so light and airy and not overly sweet! I could not at it all day, any day!! The interior was smartly decorated with cushy, green velvet loveseat style seats at some tables and standard stools at others. They have two single stall/standalone bathrooms, but one was out of order. In fact, when I got into the working bathroom, there was no tissue. Thankfully, there was an extra roll tucked into their cabinet. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and smelled very clean. It's a new cafe that opened up not too long ago and the vibes are amazing! The service was kind of slow, but the food definitely made up for it. Also, the servers were super sweet and answered any questions we had. The price is relatively normal for a brunch place around $15-20 and the atmosphere is super cozy with felt green chairs and dim lights. I would definitely come here to catch up with friends if I wanted to dress up cute! I got the avocado toast with egg on top with an iced americano. The coffee was not too acidic and not watery! It was perfect to what I am used to, so it was enjoyable. The avocado toast was good with spices (I think everything but the bagel seasoning) on it. It was pretty expensive for what I was getting, but I think I was paying more for the vibes than anything! My friends tried the croissant sandwiches, and these were also very good!
