    Cold Soup

I'm deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Common Wealth Restaurant . Despite my previous positive experiences with the company, this visit has left me hesitant to return. My husband ordered tomato basil soup, which arrived cold, and I overheard other customers complaining about their cold soups as well. To make matters worse, the cashier failed to inform us that several items we intended to order were out of stock. This oversight significantly limited our options and made it difficult to complete our purchase. The cashier's response to the customer who informed her about the out-of-stock items was dismissive and unprofessional. Given the poor customer service and the lack of attention to detail, we won't be returning to Common Wealth Restaurants. There are many other restaurants in the area that offer better customer service and a more welcoming experience.

I came for a mommy & me event. The shades and trees outside were wonderful for an outdoor morning. Coffee and food was delicious. I love the elevated ham and cheese croissant with bechemel. So good! And my coffee was perfect. Nice staff. I will definitely be back.

I've been several times to the closer to downtown and really enjoyed it. This visit to this location was not the same. They forgot our order then brought half and forgot the other half which should be served together warm. Quality was not the same as previous visit, offered gift card or something to compensate but didnt take it. French toast was mid. Pastry was good amd their specialty drink Texado was delish! Service was slow from the line, register and delivery of food. It was served 4 of of us at all different times. Left disappointed.

This new location was really hard to find. Told a friend I would meet them here and got a bit lost trying to find it. Croissant was delicious but they had some trouble with the new toaster warming it up. My coffee was good the place was just very cold. It was a bit awkward since I didn't know they closed at 3, the staff was all heading out and about to lock up with me around the corner by myself lol. Hope to come back when they have more of a foundation built.

Such a cool hidden gem in Stone Oak. The vibe is great with the beautiful plants all over the restaurant. The service is great and the food was yummy. I had a latte and French toast. My hubs had the avocado toast. We'll definitely be back!!

Their baking ingredients are sourced from France and the recipes are from her and her husband. And they're a local restaurant which I love supporting! We had the Petit Dejuener Deluxe breakfast which includes one pastry (either a croissant, chocolate croissant or bread pudding), a baguette (with either butter, homemade jam or honey), organic fresh eggs made to order or quiche slice, fresh squeezed orange juice and a yogurt with granola and fresh fruit and a black coffee or tea. It's a great option for those unable to decide on what to eat for breakfast. They have sandwiches, individual baked goods, à la carte items and hot and cold drink options as well. For us it's good but screens tourists. La Baoulangerie is small, cozy, and a European feel. Then the food, come on now! You taste the homemade love. Back in San Antonio and first stop, Tokyo Cowboy and dinner was served!…read moreAfter settling into our Airbnb, Tokyo Cowboy came up highly recommend. I'm glad they had room for us but, it's still safe to make reservations. We did not know they are a tapas style restaurant, but that didn't deter us. And we were pleasantly surprised at the size of their "tapas". What we ordered was enough for two people to share. Dumplings - 9/10 Gulf Shrimp & Noodles - 10/10 Blistered Green Beans - 10/10 Ramen - 9/10 Service was great. It's a casual atmosphere, but perfect for an intimate date night.

A bit messy to eat but I would get this again. Udon noodle with pork belly: noodles were kind of irregular in lengths. I really liked the sauce with it but it felt like it was missing something. Light dish. Tc double cheese burger: very strong flavors, somewhat sweet. Dense/heavy dish . Our waiter was quick and friendly. The restaurant lighting was dimmed and gave a more intimate /bar environment. I think the ac was broken here because it was very warm and they had fans going on around the room. I think this place would be good for someone who is prefers an American fusion cuisine that leans heavily on the western style dishes. The fusion elements were cute but I still left unsatisfied but still full. We did not park. We walked here right from the river walk. Not a bad place to go if you arrive in town after 9 pm.
