The pastries were generously sized, making them perfect for sharing or keeping all to yourself. For breakfast, I ordered the avocado toast while my brother chose one of their breakfast sandwiches. Pastries are pretty good. Some of the coffee drinks are even great. But the service is incomprehensibly slow. I ordered two croissants to go and a latte. The latter I waited I would say at least 25 minutes for. No, that's not a typo. You could argue I should have asked for a refund or just left, but I already felt committed at this point. I watched them batch up 10 drinks at a time, work on them a bit, walk away, come back and do the next step, then walk away again. Batching drinks makes sense for an order. It doesn't make sense for the whole restaurant. People who ordered 15 minutes after me were getting their stuff at the same time. Drinks at the end of batch were fresh and hot, drinks at the front were of course sitting for that entire time. I could see they were busy, and I prefer to not give people a hard time, but at minute 20 I finally asked if my drink was still being made. I got a shoulder shrug, then she checked and then it was finished and handed to me. No apology for the wait. Apparently I should have asked 15 minutes prior Again, the pastries and coffees are fine. Firstly I got the chilaquiles with chicken and my husband got the full three proteins in his: egg, avocado and chicken! My husband said these are the chilaquiles he had been looking for! I agree! We entered flavor City with this one but top notch came the desserts! Almond conchas!!! S'mores too!!! Oh my goodness! Yummy overload! We've never heard of an almond concha before so we had to get it and it was like eating a cinnamon roll of love! The gooey s'mores make you want more! First time trying this place and was great overall! Initially, I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. When I tried it, it was super super sweet, and I later learned that even though it is not included in the menu, the regular match includes several pumps of vanilla syrup. I wish this small ingredient was on the menu, because it really makes or break a matcha for me. I prefer my matcha unsweet. My husband and I love trying new coffee shops, we are self-proclaimed coffee connoisseurs and love good coffee. We've noticed that a coffee shop with good coffee usually points to great food. And on our way to a long hike, we decided to stop by Pan & Coffee, didn't know what to expect and were a bit apprehensive. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! Passed by today while waiting to meet up with my friend for lunch. I bought her an Espresso Croissant so she could try the yumminess. I bought one for myself and a Nutella Croissant which looked so enticing in the pastry case! It had powdered cocoa sprinkled on one side just like the espresso glaze on the espresso croissant. And these things were HUGE!! I saw some new items like the Amore Mio Croissant that was berry-inspired, a Cardamom Cruffin which they were out of a Double Chocolate Fudge Concha and an Almond Amaretto Concha. I'm not a Concha fan but those were certainly unique and am sure tasty. I almost got the Smores Croissant but really wanted to try the Nutella Croissant which was calling out to me. When I picked it up with the tongs, the Nutella was dripping on the wax paper and I had to carefully place it on my wax-paper tray. Totally enticing and drool-worthy and I couldn't wait to try it!! I'm not even Nuts for Nutella, LOL!! I had to rush out so I paid at the cashier's station and the clerk even noticed how huge the croissants were! She said it depends on who's baking them as far as pastry chef. I figured the bag was going to get wet with the Nutella so I asked for a plastic bag after she bagged them and she offered a box which was fine. I had finally tasted the Nutella Croissant later in the day and the dusted cocoa powder was a dark chocolate, perhaps unsweetened cocoa powder that complemented the creamy, chocolatey Nutella. This might be dangerous, LOL!! YOLO!! ;-) The parking lot can get full since there are other businesses who have designated signs for them in the small lot but walk across the way and there are dedicated parking spots for Pan & Coffee marked on the pavement. Exploring coffee shops nearby has been on my to-do list this past year. This one has quickly become one of my favorites thanks to their pastries. Shout out to the smores croissant! Their breakfast menu isn't extensive, but the food is really good. The egg sandwich was surprisingly very filling and will probably be my go to from now on. I've tried most of their specialty lattes, and always find myself wanting a stronger cup of coffee. The flavors are good but sort of muted. I can't tell if it's a me problem, but I also feel like the lattes never come out hot enough. I don't mind too much considering their coffee prices aren't as outrageous as other coffee shops. Parking can sometimes be a pain since the lot is shared with a few medical offices. Expecting the medical offices to be closed on the weekend, I was surprised at how full the lot was on a Saturday morning. A quick lap or two around though and I was able to find a spot, so don't be discouraged if you see a full lot because they're worth the visit. read more

This has always been one of our go to places for work breakfast meetings but we decided to head here for family brunch Easter Saturday so we skip the crowds on Sunday! Place was packed but service was fast and there were plenty of tables both inside and out. We got some pastries to go ready for Easter as these are always superb and this time I deviated from my normal oats bowl ( which is pretty fabulous) and tried their spinach quiche which was delicious and had a perfect crust - hard to find them this well made! We absolutely loved our visit to Pam & Coffee! We were looking for a quaint brunch spot that wouldn't be super packed, but still had great food. Pan & Coffee hit all of our marks. Once we arrived we were all in awe of their bakery display, that featured a ton of interesting and yummy treats, including a double fudge concha that looked to die for. We stopped by here since we happened to be in the area and wanted to try a new coffee place. When you walk in the entry way is plenty wide enough for you to feel like you can breathe. The seating is slightly blocked off due to several pastry cases that are self service. There are metal trays and parchment paper so you can select you own bread, muffin, concha, etc. if you want it warmed you just ask at the counter. This is such a great concept! When you approach the counter there are menus hanging above the cashier - the writing is kind of small, but I also have glasses so maybe I just need my prescription checked lol. The menu is fairly diverse offering traditional breakfasts, Mexican inspired breakfasts, and a few other options. We ordered two of the chilaquiles options- one with red salsa and one with green. I added chicken and eggs to mine and it was delightful. The chips remained nice and crunchy and the shredded chicken was still moist. We also got the cinnamon roll pancakes - they were HUGE so I'm glad we shared. It comes with a sweet icing as well as syrup, plus the bread is a little sweet so it can be a little overwhelming if you're not big on sugary breakfasts. I opted out of the syrup on my half and it was perfect, my husband drowned his side in syrup and I couldn't handle the sweetness. There are quite a few spots to sit that include tables and half table/ half booths which was a nice option. It was reasonably busy while we were there, but the food still came out fast and it was relatively quiet considering how busy it was there. The coffee was good, but my husband felt it was too strongly of coffee (he likes very sweet coffees) so I went to their drink station. There's an area with sugar and creamer available for customers so I was able to fix his coffee to his liking perfectly. While the food and coffee were both pretty good, we wouldn't necessarily go out of our way to go back. One of my good friends who is local recommended Pan & Coffee for a drinks and treats! I know it would be good when we had a time looking for parking! Upon entering I immediately loved the rolling pins for decoration as well as the ability to pick what I wanted from the bread and sweet cabinet. I went with one of their lemonade's, refreshing and not too sweet! I definitely look forward to another visit and trying other items! read more
