We stopped into extra fine for carry out baked goods and iced coffees. Even though we didn't eat a meal, I was quite impressed with the cute dining spaces and the atmosphere inside. In addition, the coffees and baked items were so delicious. I can't wait to go back to try a menu item!

Every time I come here I'm reminded why I don't stop coming back. From start to finish this concept is well thought out and executed in extremely impressive manner. The blue and white colors catch your eyes form the street, walking through the patio to the front doors is such a cute sight for the eyes, and the moment you walk in your senses are met with scents and smells that make your soul smile. Extra fine is hands down one of the best bakeries in town serving up some mouth watering eats and rotating drinks that keep locals buzzing. From their calamansi limeades (my favorite) to ANY of their coffee or matcha drinks, you're always in for a treat. & if you came hungry? You came to the right place. They offer breakfast and lunch items & no matter which menu your order from, every option offered takes some of our favorite foods and then elevates them even more. Recommendations: LITERALLY any kolache, any pastry, the Breakfast sandwich, the Yogurt Parfait, the chicken Caesar salad sandwich, the ham & butter sandwich, the French onion grilled cheese, their Moroccan couscous salad, and their lemon dill potato salad. There's a super cute patio and also plenty of seating inside to study & everyone who works here is super sweet & helpful. Bring a friend or two so you can try a little of everything & expect a line during peak hours. Enjoy!

Great coffee shop for both grab-and-go and getting work done. Easily one of my favorites in SA.

Came here the other day with my fiance. Parking here is limited. I drove around the parking lot and there were no spaces available. I drove up the street to try to find parking. I ended up going back to the original parking lot and got lucky that a spot had opened up. I ordered the 5 Spice Pancakes. It is worth noting that they do not accept cash. After ordering our food, we took our number and found a table. The food did take sometime to come out. If you are getting hangry then you might want to get one of their pastries to eat while waiting . If you are able to wait then the food is worth it. When the food came out, my pancakes were delicious. The restaurant has a casual feel to it. It also has some outdoor seating. I suggest this restaurant for great food that uses locally sourced ingredients

Egg sandwich pressed to heat

More of a Coffee house than a restaurant, you walk up and order from a few items or choose a chilled item in a case to be heated up for you like a chicken pesto or ham and cheese. Selection of teas and coffees and special drinks. Ambience is a bit industrial, with most customers working on computers. Outside is more pleasant with several tables. Food was brought out, pleasant staff. Sandwich was decent enough but not much flavor and it was just the sandwich for the price no chips. Adding chips was $3 which was high to me. Was surprised they didn't accept cash, which seems to be the trend nowadays. I mentioned I like to use cash because it cuts the processing cost and for me I don't need to pay the bill later. The guy said well some people don't have checking accounts so it's better for the "marginalized" people which I thought nonsensical. But that's just to show it's an Austin type place, more geared to that mindset- the 4 stars are for the food not any of that. Not my type of place so I'll move on.

Chill coffee spot in a local area -- staff was friendly and I always love a place that has dairy alternatives for creamer in my cold brew and don't charge for it. That is enough for me to go back lol but my bf got a vanilla latte and said it was fire. Outdoor seating was nice too!

My review is only based off the chocolate mousse. I'm obsessed with it and I even had it catered for my wedding. Simply divine. 10/10!

Finally got to stop in to try this place and it was pretty good! I got the Thai Iced Coffee which was yummy, but I do wish I got a regular latte instead. I also got a peach coffee cake which was also very good, though very crumbly so definitely be careful with eating it. The interior is pretty cute and there's a good amount of parking in the lot as well as street parking available.

I placed an order for some baked goods from here for my wife's birthday a few weeks ago and everything was delicious. They had the bag ready for me at the planned time and the lady at the front was super nice and gave me tips on how to store everything. Definitely will be back to try everything else here.

Yelped a brunch place and this came up. No wait and seating inside and outside. Brought the family. Not too much on the menu, simple light dishes. Basic customer service, friendly. The food was mediocre. Looked great but pretty tasteless. Ordered the avocado toast with an over easy egg, nothing special (3/5), my son loved the yogurt parfait, the grilled cheese sandwich lacked taste as well and was very greasy. Cute place but I will probably not return, the prices were high and the food was not great. Oh, And you have to get your own water, utensils, napkins and bus your table.

This is a credit card only establishment with about 12 parking spots in their lot plus a couple handicap spots. There is additional parking in the street but be sure to read the signs to avoid restricted areas. This restaurant locally sources their ingredients and you can tell in the quality of their food. I had the avocado toast which comes on one long piece of toast with fresh pesto, soft ricotta cheese, sliced avocado and a fried egg on top. It was delicious and the garlic flavor from the pesto left a pleasant aftertaste. My partner had the 5 spice pancakes that came with a large serving of real whipped cream on top. I like any type of whipped cream from canned to cool whip but always find freshly whipped cream a special treat. They list the local farms they source the ingredients from on the mirrors in the wall which was good to see. We left full, satisfied and curious enough about their other menu items to plan a trip back.

On a whim, my friend suggested we go here after our workout. I've heard good things about this place before, but I'm never in the area so I usually forget to go. It's a cozy, low lit spot in the morning. Perfect for an intimate breakfast atmosphere or for when you have to get some work done. There's not a lot of seating, so hopefully you can find a spot! We went on a weekday morning and we were able to snag the last spot available! This is definitely a place where people come to be alone and to focus during the week! Pricing is pretty good, especially for the food! Everything is pretty filling, and most of their stuff is under the $10 price range! Good food, friendly staff that's also quick? Perfection.

I forgot the exact flavors I got, but I remember trying pistachio, Dubai chocolate, and one other flavor. They were all really good. Since I was hungry, I also grabbed a chocolate croissant, which was delicious as well. I forgot to ask them to heat it up, but it was still very enjoyable. On the side, I tried their ice cream, and it was honestly some of the best ice cream I've had in San Antonio. I believe I got pistachio, taro, and coffee on the bottom, and they were all great. At the end, I also got Turkish coffee just out of curiosity. It's not in the picture because I purchased it after I finished my dessert. The coffee was very strong, with a unique flavor that made it fun to try. One small suggestion: the coffee was very very hot and nearly overflowed the small cup, so it might be helpful to add a "cup sleeve", use a slightly bigger cup, or offer an option to make it a bit cooler (adding an ice or two). Overall, this is definitely a cool place to hang out, especially if you enjoy sweets, coffee, and trying different flavors. Highly recommended and will be back for more!

Parking: They have a parking lot. We were with my hubby, dad, and stepmom, and they had never been to a Mexican bakery, so I had to do a lot of explaining. We got three items from the bakery: a bread one with cream and blueberries, a flaky cup-shaped one with cream, and a triangle flaky one with guava. They were phenomenal! Our fam got one of the flaky cup-cshaoed ones and another cupcake-shaped one that was bread. They loved them both and said they would be back later for more, or tomorrow morning. For our meal, we shared the chicken ranchero Benedict, and it was so tasty on delicious sourdough bread! We used the bread to soak up all the runny yoke and sauce from the meal. There was not a trace of anything left on the plate. Our fam got scrambled eggs and bacon and said it was yummy. They all drank water, but I enjoyed a hot tea latte. It was a little sweeter than I prefer, but it was good.

Try the Dubai chocolate and mini chocolate ones. It's worth the hype. Just go ahead and check it out.
