The breakfast sandwiches here are yummy and they have a pretty big menu for a cafe. The drip coffee was great but the cappuccino tasted like it was made with spoiled milk. We even said something and got it remade but it tasted the same. Hopefully it was just the milk and they don't usually taste like that. The desserts here are also so tempting and we got the chocolate mousse cake.

First time visit. Went for brunch. Cozy, with a boho vibe. You order at the counter. Service was on point, questions were easily answered. All our food came out hot, fresh and tasty. The arugala salad was the standout, served with a Parmesan vinegrette. The only downside was they ran out of their Avocado toast, at 11 am

Stopped in for a quick refresher, the fruit punch agua fresca was super good. Both the pastries were good as well. Service was fast people were friendly. Space is super small but nice and quiet.

Every time I come here I'm reminded why I don't stop coming back. From start to finish this concept is well thought out and executed in extremely impressive manner. The blue and white colors catch your eyes form the street, walking through the patio to the front doors is such a cute sight for the eyes, and the moment you walk in your senses are met with scents and smells that make your soul smile. Extra fine is hands down one of the best bakeries in town serving up some mouth watering eats and rotating drinks that keep locals buzzing. From their calamansi limeades (my favorite) to ANY of their coffee or matcha drinks, you're always in for a treat. & if you came hungry? You came to the right place. They offer breakfast and lunch items & no matter which menu your order from, every option offered takes some of our favorite foods and then elevates them even more. Recommendations: LITERALLY any kolache, any pastry, the Breakfast sandwich, the Yogurt Parfait, the chicken Caesar salad sandwich, the ham & butter sandwich, the French onion grilled cheese, their Moroccan couscous salad, and their lemon dill potato salad. There's a super cute patio and also plenty of seating inside to study & everyone who works here is super sweet & helpful. Bring a friend or two so you can try a little of everything & expect a line during peak hours. Enjoy!

We stopped into extra fine for carry out baked goods and iced coffees. Even though we didn't eat a meal, I was quite impressed with the cute dining spaces and the atmosphere inside. In addition, the coffees and baked items were so delicious. I can't wait to go back to try a menu item!

Great coffee shop for both grab-and-go and getting work done. Easily one of my favorites in SA.

Came here the other day with my fiance. Parking here is limited. I drove around the parking lot and there were no spaces available. I drove up the street to try to find parking. I ended up going back to the original parking lot and got lucky that a spot had opened up. I ordered the 5 Spice Pancakes. It is worth noting that they do not accept cash. After ordering our food, we took our number and found a table. The food did take sometime to come out. If you are getting hangry then you might want to get one of their pastries to eat while waiting . If you are able to wait then the food is worth it. When the food came out, my pancakes were delicious. The restaurant has a casual feel to it. It also has some outdoor seating. I suggest this restaurant for great food that uses locally sourced ingredients

My review is only based off the chocolate mousse. I'm obsessed with it and I even had it catered for my wedding. Simply divine. 10/10!

Big box of tummy yummy goodies!!

Extra Fine is a little local gem in Monte Vista. It is exactly what you want in a neighborhood coffee and pastry shop. The coffee is great, and the pastries are outstanding--both savory and sweet. My granddaughter absolutely raves about them. What truly sets this place apart is the customer service. The staff was exceptionally kind to my granddaughter, and that meant the world to me. Warm, welcoming, and full of heart--this is the kind of small business you're happy to support.

Chill coffee spot in a local area -- staff was friendly and I always love a place that has dairy alternatives for creamer in my cold brew and don't charge for it. That is enough for me to go back lol but my bf got a vanilla latte and said it was fire. Outdoor seating was nice too!

Finally got to stop in to try this place and it was pretty good! I got the Thai Iced Coffee which was yummy, but I do wish I got a regular latte instead. I also got a peach coffee cake which was also very good, though very crumbly so definitely be careful with eating it. The interior is pretty cute and there's a good amount of parking in the lot as well as street parking available.

    Egg sandwich pressed to heat

More of a Coffee house than a restaurant, you walk up and order from a few items or choose a chilled item in a case to be heated up for you like a chicken pesto or ham and cheese. Selection of teas and coffees and special drinks. Ambience is a bit industrial, with most customers working on computers. Outside is more pleasant with several tables. Food was brought out, pleasant staff. Sandwich was decent enough but not much flavor and it was just the sandwich for the price no chips. Adding chips was $3 which was high to me. Was surprised they didn't accept cash, which seems to be the trend nowadays. I mentioned I like to use cash because it cuts the processing cost and for me I don't need to pay the bill later. The guy said well some people don't have checking accounts so it's better for the "marginalized" people which I thought nonsensical. But that's just to show it's an Austin type place, more geared to that mindset- the 4 stars are for the food not any of that. Not my type of place so I'll move on.

I placed an order for some baked goods from here for my wife's birthday a few weeks ago and everything was delicious. They had the bag ready for me at the planned time and the lady at the front was super nice and gave me tips on how to store everything. Definitely will be back to try everything else here.

Cute coffee place with bites to eat. That brownie cookie thing with the powdered sugar is out of this world I definitely recommend it.

The Pearl's beautiful mix of historic architecture and modern design creates the perfect backdrop, and there's no better spot to grab a table, sip a coffee, and enjoy some of the best people-watching in the city. The food never disappoints. The Quiche Lorraine is consistently outstanding! Rich, creamy, perfectly seasoned, with a buttery, flaky crust that somehow manages to be both delicate and substantial. And then there are the macarons. Bakery Lorraine has one of the best selections around, with flavors that range from timeless classics to fun seasonal creations. The first experience was during the morning, I visited just for a coffee and when I ordered I was rushed away so the cashier could attend to a regular behind me...not the best first impression. Today was my second, potentially final, time. I ordered a coffee from their window and when it was brought out to me the cashier slammed my coffee on the table, no greeting or even speaking to me and walked off. At first i didn't know he worked here. The coffee was fine though! Also-- NOT a big deal at all... But when ordering, I noticed that when I asked for a pupcup, the cashier ran it up for "free", then added an "extra" charge to my latte to pay for the pupcup (the cashier explained the charge as mentioned) no problem but something to note if you run into the same thing.
