Baklovah Bakery is absolutely worth a stop in San Antonio (we were visiting from Austin). Yes, we came for the viral pastries, but this place has so much more!! The green tea with mint is a must -- it pairs perfectly with all the sweet treats. My favorite viral mousse was the mango one -- white chocolate on the outside with a delicious mango filling inside. So flavorful without being too sweet. There's also a huge variety of Turkish delights, cookies, cupcakes, and other desserts, including a really tasty pistachio bird's nest. Highly recommend checking this place out, even if you're taking out treats for family to share.

Hip, trendy and buzz worthy! We came for the delicious dessert which not disappoint, however we're pleasantly surprised by the amazing coffee which made our visit that much better. The employees are super kind and professional. The restaurant itself is kept meticulously clean, even with the rush of patrons . This is definitely the place to be.

This place is dangerously delicious. One of my favorites are the mini birds nest with pistachios; however, it had to buy a sweet that looked just like a mango. It did not disappoint. It was surprisingly light, and the shell cracked the way a DQ dipped come does (IYKYK). The inside was a light mango mousse filled with a mango jelly-like center. The three textures truly complemented each other. They had a banana, raspberry, and even a mushroom one. I'm so intrigued. I can't wait to go again. We can do lunch at Pasha first.

If a place makes my short list of where to take out of town guests it has earned serious respect. Baklovah Bakery is a true gem and one of the best Mediterranean pastry experiences I have had. Every single item looks like edible art and somehow tastes even better. I ordered the mushroom pastry and it was outstanding. A delicate shell that cracks with the lightest bite revealing layers of chocolate mousse and raspberry with a thin chocolate coating that adds the perfect crunch. The precision and restraint here feel master level. Nothing is heavy and nothing is overdone. My daughter chose the tiramisu edible cup which is exactly as fun as it sounds. A solid chocolate coffee cup filled with tiramisu that feels elevated and balanced. The cream lands somewhere between classic whipped filling and mousse and it works beautifully. My husband went for the honey and goat cheese ice cream. Bold honey flavor with a gentle tang from the goat cheese that gives it character without overpowering. We also left with a chocolate Dubai bar because that is non negotiable here. Exceptional pastries. Warm and efficient service. A calm inviting space. This is where you bring family when you want to impress without trying too hard.

I've been Coming here for a while now and I am always delighted at how delicious everything is, I like to get something new every time we come and haven't been disappointed. The Rose-Pomegranate Turkish delight is a favorite of ours, we get it almost every time we come, and the strawberry tart and lemon mouse cake were very tasty! The staff is always polite and welcoming, I've even gotten a few free samples that they just give you to try some of their variety! We still have lots more to try and will continue to come for these delicious sweet treats!

Well just landed in San Antonio, TX Airport and my cousin and sister picked me up From Chicago, IL. Instead of going to my parents new house I ended up going to a Middle Eastern Bakery. it was decent middle eastern bakery ambiance is modern service is good. I had tried their Baklava and it was decently delicious. Traditional. They had a bread roll that was unique and tasty and surprisingly light in texture. The cream was like a Philly Cheese and not too suit. They had some pastries too that look good like a German Forest Cake and a sleeping chocolate teddy bear and a cake that looks like a pear or apricot. Otherwise just 4 stars. Tasted good but not the best. Service was ok. Ambience was modern and busy on a rainy day.

This place is amazing! I loved the desserts here. The desserts here are crowd pleasers so I highly recommend bringing this next time you are invited somewhere. I LOVED the fruit tart, it was not too suit and simply perfect.

Recommend: Yes! Food- I think I almost bought one of everything because it looked so delicious! The Nutella birds eat was decadent and could only have one bite at a time. The biscoff cookie was the right amount of sweet. The pistacho shaped fruit had Dubai chocolate inside and I loved the crunch. The mousse gave the Dubai chocolate a refreshing contrast. The mango fruit also had small pieces of mango with the mousse and it was my favorite. I ate it in on sitting . The Turkish coffee was hot and strong. Fair warning, the grounds are at the bottom of the cup ) i wasn't expecting that) but it was good Service: I went on a very busy Sunday afternoon and a long line formed but the attendants took care of everyone super fast. They were friendly and patient. Ambiance: They have seating areas inside and outside of the bakery so you can enjoy your pastries/coffee.

Our favorite bakery! We have never left here disappointed. Love that it's open late, love that it always feels packed, but the service never suffers. The employees are so nice and friendly. Try the lemon meringue tarte, it is our favorite. We have also had the viral fruit pastries and they were so perfectly detailed, almost to the point where you don't want to eat it.

I was craving a sweet treat and decided to stroll into Baklovah, I had been here about 3 years ago, it's expanded and they have a lot of employees. Every single employee is super nice, welcoming and informative. The young woman who helped us was super patient, gave us ice cream tastings and always had a nice smile. I decided to try the strawberry Dubai chocolate cup, I wish they had dark chocolate, they only have milk chocolate or white chocolate, it was quite delicious, good selection of strawberries, not enough pistachio cream mix in my humble opinion, but it was very good! My husband got the chocolate croissant, he said it was a bit stale, but the prize of the night was definitely the birds nest! Holy moly, for such a small dessert it packed a lot of flavor! So good! I 100% recommend the birds nest, I would go back just to get the birds nest! While there we decided to meander to their upstairs, where the Silk Road Gallery is its full of antiques, so lovely! Good music, good people, tasty sweets!

We just HAD to try the viral pastries and they didn't disappoint!!! We took them to-go because it was pretty late. The presentation is ridiculously amazing! They look so delicate but yet inside, there are so many flavors and they are so light tasting! I cannot recommend getting your viral pastries here! They are AMAZING!!!

If you love desserts, this is the place for you. They have a large assortment of flavors and dessert types. They had baklava, cookies, cake, strudel, chocolate, cheesecake, tarts, and so much more. The prices aren't clearly marked on all the labels so just be mindful of how quickly loading up your tray with all your goodies will add up. I haven't tried their coffee yet but they do have a drink menu as well. It's a bit of a drive for me, but they're definitely worth it!

They have a storyline to create a plot for the "dessert" creations. The pastry chefs interweave sweet, salty, sour, spicy, and umami throughout the evening AND is also paired with a drink per dish. They tell you how to eat the dish for maximum enjoyment of the desired taste experience. They do an excellent job of creativity, presentation, and combination of flavors. Such an intimate setting. I'm vegetarian and pregnant so my menu had to be modified but I was so blown away by the fact that they were able to accommodate for me and took such care in making sure my plates met the caliber and intended feeling/taste of the non vegetarian dishes. Same with the drink pairings, although mine were non alcoholic, it wasn't just a blah substitution, they really put a lot of care into making sure the drink matched the energy and vibe of the alcoholic version. My husband and I loved the story telling that went with each dish that described the chef's intentions and the products used for each bite. This was our first fine dining experience and we couldn't have been more satisfied. We were celebrating my husband's graduation and they even had a little card for him signed by the chefs! So cute! I'd definitely recommend checking this place out for a special occasion, or if you're just curious about what a Michelin Star dessert restaurant is all about.
