Amazing! Stellar! Absolutely delicious!! The beignets are omg mouthgasm soo freaking good! We got the strawberry, Nutella and churro the names says enough. You have to go try to find out for yourself. It doesn't end there the breakfast sandwich and Cubano limited edition Sandwhich omggg it's soo freaking delicious and great portion and flavor! Swing on by no cap this place is bussing! Service is always great and fast, they have outdoor seating and get their coffee beans from estate coffee which is amazing coffee overall this place is a win!

Fried chicken sandwich. Comes with pickles and apple butter mayo.

The food was amazing! Beignets as big as my husband hand! The fried chicken is made fresh to order and was not prepared for the flavor. It's marinated or brined it was so good. The clerk was so sweet to explain everything and half my family is lactose intolerant and they had Oatmilk and non-dairy whip. Highly recommend!

What a find! Beignet breakfast sammies ya'll....sooooo good! More like a sweet bun with the fluffiest souffle-like eggs you've ever had plus bacon, ham or both and a yummy aoli. Absolutely delicious find.

Cream filled, fresh and hot.

The beignet was very nice. The cheese or cream inside was subtle without being too sweet. The staff was friendly and helpful for it being the first time going there.

The tastes of these were phenomenal! They were soft and warm despite the cold weather, and the strawberry sauce I ordered went very well with the dish.

Found this place as I was looking for a quick breakfast running late for work. WOW what a good deal I got here. They're friendly and helpful . I got an iced vanilla late and their bacon breakfast sandwich. Doesn't taste fake or artificial, it's awesome. Would recommend 10/10

I just recently found this place and I am really glad that I did. The make most of everything in house and it is served hot and delicious. It is a stand so no eating inside but they have tables setup outside that you can sit at or they will bring to you as you wait in your car. I went here in the morning and got specialty beignets and it was soo good I came back with my wife for chicken sandwiches and more beignets. My wife was recently in New Orleans on a business trip and stopped by Café du Monde said The Beignet Stand place was hands down better.

Drive thru is a bit tricky on the way it is constructed. The service is amazing. I'm pregnant so I need my eggs well cooked and they offered to accommodate a fried egg instead. I thought that was very generous considering it isn't on the usual menu. The only reason for not 5 stars is because the inside was still runny BUT the effort was there and I appreciate them. Food was delicious regardless.

Really good breakfast sandwiches. I got the ham, egg & cheese. I was nervous about getting it because I had donut sandwiches before and they were super greasy. The breakfast sandwich wasn't greasy. The dough was fluffy & had lots of egg/ cheese/ ham. It was nice and full with all the ingredients. Probably a new favorite. I got an iced mocha & it was good, but I like more chocolate. I ended up adding more chocolate when I got home. That's the only con & that's a personal preference. The stand was super cute. There is parking & seating outside.

I used the drive thru which is a bit rough to get into, but I had ordered two breakfast beignets and a latte. I guess the person who took my order didn't hear me correctly so I got classic beignets instead. I called once I got home which is about 20 minutes away, and although they did offer to correct the order, the phone call felt rushed rude and somewhat snippy towards me. I understand accidents happen. I'm grateful that they were willing to correct it. It's also on me that I didn't double check the total and the bag before leaving. I just wish they would've read me my order when I went to pay that way we knew we were on the same page of what I had ordered. Overall disappointed I drove 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back and now I have these classic beignets instead of breakfast for me and my kids. I didn't wanna drive another 40 minute's round trip with my children to get it corrected. However the beignets are delicious as always.

Picked up breakfast before we headed to bracken-ridge park. We got one of each breakfast sandwich. The egg was so good and fluffy and the beignet was larger than average to hold up the ingredients of the sandwich. It's definitely hearty and will have you wanting to take a nap after. Careful pulling in it's right off the road and pretty busy with the other business around.

It's the kind of place folks drift into and, before long, start calling their own. The people there carry themselves with quiet pride--no fuss, no show--just a steady hand at their work and a genuine welcome for whoever steps through the door. The menu ain't thrown together. It's been shaped with care, like a well-tuned string on a guitarra, each choice meant to stand on its own but better still when taken together. The flavors come through bold and honest, with a little flourish here and there--nothing overdone, just enough to remind you somebody back there knows what they're about. It's a small spot, sure, but that only draws folks closer. Feels a bit like gathering under a shaded porch after a long day--easy talk, shared laughter, and the sense you're among friends, whether you've known 'em years or just met 'em. Every greeting carries the warmth of old ties, like you've been welcomed back rather than simply let in. And the food--well, it doesn't hold back. Each bite's got a richness that settles in and makes you slow down, take notice, and then go back for more. It's the kind of meal that stays with you, the way a good story does. Spend a little time there with friends, and you'll come away knowing you've found something true--a place where the spirit of San Antonio, with its charro heart and neighborly ways, lives on in every plate set down and every hand extended in welcome.

So, when co-workers wanted to go yesterday, I jumped on it. Don't get me wrong. I love the vibe of this place. I LOVE their story. It's very NY/Northeastern deli feel (they're from Pittsburgh, but you get my drift, right!?). No nonsense. Small inside area. No tables inside. Just enough room to look at the menu, order, and go wait outside. I opted for the chicken bacon ranch on hoagie. What came out was a decent size sandwich, but incredibly messy and soggy. There was so much juice/ liquid the sandwich quickly became unmanageable and just disintegrated. Look, if you're going to serve a sandwich that messy, please upgrade your napkins. It was a one bite - two napkin ratio. The sandwich was good, but the mess and difficulty eating it just took away any enjoyment. Additionally, the flies outside rivaled the worst I've experienced. Do you remember the scene in the Lost World, Jurassic Park movie when the hunters found the Rex nest!? Okay, okay, maybe not that bad, but it was a lot. Hang some fly bags or strips or somethin'. Found price to be a little high. By the time I bought chips and a drink, plus tip: $22. Just FYI: my co-worker disagrees. He thought it was the BEST SANDWICH HE'D EVER HAD. So, yes, go give them a try, but bring a beach towel for clean up.

Service was prompt, and the ambiance is a funky cross between a bakery and a diner. Parking is easy in their private lot. I first tried their 'Texas Style' pastrami Reuben sandwich. This is smoked pastrami brisket, served with on their house-made marbled rye and topped with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and garlic aioli. Quite a bit different than a NYC-style sandwich. The aioli instead of dressing, thicker slices, etc etc. But wow, did it taste good. It's as if a pastrami Reuben and a sliced smoked brisket sandwich had a love child who inherited the best from each parent. I also tried their salmon gravlax on an 'everything' bagel. This bagel was baked in-house, topped with the cured salmon, cream cheese, tomato, red onion, capers, and a sprig of dill. Rustic, beautiful, and delicious. Definite recommend! This place scores a 5 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. I think the reason I didnt "love" the pizza is because its so different with the sourdough base and not what i am used to. I would like to return and try a sandwich or something else on the menu. Service was fast and friendly, and the place was clean and welcoming. My main reason for trying out wild barley was because they have sour beers, it wasnt the best sour beer i have ever had, but i have noticed in Texas the sour beers have a strange taste to them that i cant quite put my finger on. Overall though it was refreshing and cold. my husband really enjoyed the cider. We will be back and i hope after trying something different on the menu to change my review to 5 stars,

Parking: They have a parking lot. We were with my hubby, dad, and stepmom, and they had never been to a Mexican bakery, so I had to do a lot of explaining. We got three items from the bakery: a bread one with cream and blueberries, a flaky cup-shaped one with cream, and a triangle flaky one with guava. They were phenomenal! Our fam got one of the flaky cup-cshaoed ones and another cupcake-shaped one that was bread. They loved them both and said they would be back later for more, or tomorrow morning. For our meal, we shared the chicken ranchero Benedict, and it was so tasty on delicious sourdough bread! We used the bread to soak up all the runny yoke and sauce from the meal. There was not a trace of anything left on the plate. Our fam got scrambled eggs and bacon and said it was yummy. They all drank water, but I enjoyed a hot tea latte. It was a little sweeter than I prefer, but it was good.

El buenos dias was very good, and the bread was perfectly toasted. I did not like the beans but that was not the focus. There was so much avocado and a perfect amount of tomatoes. I passed this on the way to my assignment location and began researching this spot. Some google…read morereviews mentioned they are F1 fans and Ferrari people. So I knew I had to check them out. I was able to make my way here on my last day in San Antonio in late March thanks to my flight being delayed and my oh my, I am quite impressed! The older gentleman taking my order at the counter gave me a big smile when I mentioned I heard you have this thing called the serious sandwich here. He told me that they do and then stated "You won't regret ordering it, seriously." Chuckling, I decided on a half order of that along with a side of potato salad and their side of beans. After taking my first bite, I realized the gentleman was right. This is a dope sandwich! Excellent cured meats in the salamar and pair of hams along with the provolone and melted cheddar with the veggies, spices, italian dressing, and mustard. The bread they use holds up well and has a slight crunch to it. If you prefer your bread to have softness to it, you may have to ask if they can substitute a different bread instead of the italian flat bread they use. But I absolutely love this sandwich the way it is! As for the sides, the potato salad has a slight mustard taste and right consistency with a dash of paprika on top; just the way I like it. The beans are charro beans (I think) that are served steaming hot with some pork trimmings mixed in; I may have dipped my sandwich in it a couple times for flavor explosion. What can I say, I'm adventurous! There's some ferrari memorabilia and posters on the right side where some of the high top seating is. As a Ferrari F1 fan, I appreciate them displaying this here along with the track map of the COTA circuit in Austin. The seating area is spread out nicely with plenty of seats/tables and a drink station with some random signs up. All of interest to consumers like us. Definitely recommend coming here for either the serious sandwich or other delicious ones like their meatball sandwich or manhattan. I can't wait to come back and try the other ones but I may just stick with the serious sandwich cause I loved it. SERIOUSLY!
