The food is amazing. Being greeted with a smile and a staff who aims to be a notch above. Each meal is made with care and love, which is easy to tell with each bite. The Tex-mex eggs Benedict is easy a 5 star restaurant dish. The Founder is definitely their number one dish and is a no brainer when wanting something $10 or less but filling. I will say the soup of the day has never disappointed me either. Don't just stop at the meals... you must try a tart, cookie, muffin, or other pastry made fresh daily! I will say my kids always want a cookie or tart everytime we are near there Solid Rock. I will say Chef Eric and his staff in the Solid Rock Cafe truly have put together an amazing menu and they all show their love for food in everything they do!

    Lemon tartlet oh so good!

This is my third time dining at the Solid Rock Cafe, and I was not disappointed. I had the turkey club with a side of chips and homemade salsa, and the lemon tart for dessert. WOW! Huge portions, every bite delicious. My server was polite and attentive. I will definitely eat here again!

Free private parking behind the Legend outdoor small mall. Next to major highway, easy find. Huge enough to spot off the highway. Cafe, comfy hang outs with plug ins, a hair salon greet you at entrance. Came to check out the double swimming pools, both open almost all year round, indoor and out. Clean, buzzing, kids are very well kept away from adults, indoor pickle ball with open play hours. Immaculate Indoor basketball court made me want to play Locker rooms even have a lounge inside with tv They provide towels and all sorts of things you do not have to pack. Upstairs greets you with massage chairs, stretch tables, plenty of space for weight machines, treadmills, you name it.

The prices for a cafe at the sophisticated Lifetime Fitness (rock wall, hot sauna, dry sauna,…read moreraquetball, water slides, hot tubs, pool, personal trainers, yoga, Pilates- what else do you need?) are unexpectedly affordable. We tried the Turkey Burger, Mediterranean Pizza, Frittata of the Day, and the Catalina Avocado Toast. All for around $30. Enough to feed 3. Of course, being in Lifetime Fitness, you can expect the food to be healthy. The chefs that make most everything in house are also knowledgeable about healthy diets and the specific nutrition within their dishes. Usually pretty quiet, nice place to fuel up before a workout or better yet as a healthy reward afterwards. Turkey Burger on Pretzel bread was moist and lightly seasoned. Pretzel buns can often be stuff and too dense, but they did it right here! At $4, the Frittata was small but satisfying- California style with bacon and peppers. The Catalina Avocado Toast had fresh mozzarella, ripe tomato sliced, and delicious avocado atop multigrain toast. Tasty! Last but not least was the Mediterranean Pizza. Cauliflower crust was crispy and tasty. Fresh arugula, kale, mushrooms, and zucchini did not make the crust soggy like lots of vegetables in pizza tends to do. Decent serving size for $12 (we added chicken for a few more dollars). LifeCafe has a menu with variety, plus rotating daily specials. For something even quicker, they have premade meals that you can take to-go or they will microwave it for you. And they make those all in-house as well, so freshness should not be a problem! The employees were friendly and welcoming of any questions we had. A great experience, will have to try the healthy drinks and smoothies sometime!

Excellent Panaderia! I will come back again when we visit San Antonio…read more Ordering: there is a line you enter that takes you through all the pastries. You order those with a person, then that person takes you to a register. At the register, you can order any of the plated food. They give you a number and the. You go to a table. The servers are very friendly, and the food came out promptly. I love that there are a lot of round tables instead of just square ones, but the chairs do have arms, so they hugged my hips. Parking: They have a parking lot. We were with my hubby, dad, and stepmom, and they had never been to a Mexican bakery, so I had to do a lot of explaining. We got three items from the bakery: a bread one with cream and blueberries, a flaky cup-shaped one with cream, and a triangle flaky one with guava. They were phenomenal! Our fam got one of the flaky cup-cshaoed ones and another cupcake-shaped one that was bread. They loved them both and said they would be back later for more, or tomorrow morning. For our meal, we shared the chicken ranchero Benedict, and it was so tasty on delicious sourdough bread! We used the bread to soak up all the runny yoke and sauce from the meal. There was not a trace of anything left on the plate. Our fam got scrambled eggs and bacon and said it was yummy. They all drank water, but I enjoyed a hot tea latte. It was a little sweeter than I prefer, but it was good.

The staff is incredible and their communication is quite beautiful as it is super in-sync. The mere amount of pastries is impressive. This place may look like a tourist trap, but it operates as a local café with incredible vibes. It errs on the expensive side, but to be fair I think everything is worth it. El buenos dias was very good, and the bread was perfectly toasted. I did not like the beans but that was not the focus. There was so much avocado and a perfect amount of tomatoes. The egg whites were cooked perfectly and they were super fluffy. The bacon and the turkey were outstanding in quality and taste. The pan dulce was to live for. Try the Dubai chocolate and mini chocolate ones. It's worth the hype. Just go ahead and check it out.

In my never-ending search for delicious Pho and Bánh Mì in the San Antonio area, fate guided me…read morehere. I had initially tried to visit another Pho place that I had been wanting to try. However, it just happened to be closed for some unknown reason, even though Yelp and Google both showed that it was supposed to be open. Nevertheless, I looked to Yelp for some help. I searched other noteworthy Pho places nearby and SP was just down the road from where I was at. Upon arrival, the parking lot was pretty packed. It does appear to share the parking lot with a couple different businesses, and there are not a lot of spots, and some are reserved for said businesses. Otherwise, you can park in the adjacent Park North lots and just walk over. The cafe itself is not very big, but it has a cozy feel to it, and it happened to be bustling on this day (which seems to be common, as I have noticed on subsequent visits). After being seated, we perused the menu. There are plenty of great options for food and drink, and they all sound delicious. However, I was here for the aforementioned Pho and Bánh Mì. I usually like to get Pho Gà, just because I enjoy a lighter, cleaner broth Pho. I always like to taste the broth before potentially adding any of the accompanying garnishes. So far, this is probably my favorite broth that I have tasted since transplanting to Texas. It was very rich and flavorful. Also, the chicken pieces were nice, and poached very well. I find that most places have either the slices, which can be tough and rubbery or they have chunks that are stringy and tough. I also ordered a grilled pork Bánh Mì, and it did not disappoint. The pork was very flavorful, and had a nice little char on it. The bread was nice and soft, but had a crispiness to it, as it should. Overall, I place this spot high on my list, and I will definitely be a regular.

You can tell it's been simmered the right way--deep, comforting, and full of flavor. I also tried the beef stew soup, and it was incredible. Classic, hearty, and perfectly seasoned, with tender beef that just melts in your mouth. It tasted like the kind of dish that's been perfected over time. The Vietnamese sandwiches were just as good--fresh bread, well-balanced fillings, and packed with flavor. The inside of the cafe is small and nothing fancy, but that honestly adds to the charm. This is a place that focuses on great food rather than appearances. They also have some of the best soups around and a solid selection of milk tea drinks that are definitely worth trying. The menu is huge, so there's truly something for everyone, whether you're in the mood for soup, sandwiches, or drinks. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes. I'll definitely be coming back again--SP Cafe is a gem if you're looking for authentic Vietnamese comfort food.
