When she placed all the items in a small box, she smeared jelly from her hand onto the whole bottom of the box and handed it to me. I mentioned the smeared box, she didn't say a word. It totaled $10, pretty typical for gluten free (more expensive side). I had the scone that day, it has slight crunch on the outside and fluffy on the inside and wasn't too sweet. It was huge and I greatly enjoyed it and isn't something I could replicate on my own. The cookie I was hesitant to get at first because I can make my own cookies but this was unique and the other items didn't pique my interest as much. I had this the next day and split it with my family. Warmed it up and definitely better warmed up - gooey on the inside, cooked well on the outside, nice combo of flavors although the sweet definitely overpowered any saltiness. Family liked it! I saw vegan bakery and it caught my attention. I've been vegan for about a year and one thing I miss is good pastries. She caters to regular, gluten free, keto, paleo and vegan. She makes cakes, cupcakes, banana nut bread with walnuts etc. Check out her page but most importantly her website. She had great reviews and now I know why. (i was expecting a bakery shop or something) anyways i picked it up and went back to austin. this cake came out very delicious! the order came out exactly what my wife and family wanted. (low sugar and gluten free) her brother that doesnt like cake actually enjoyed every bite of it. the only thing that wouldve made this whole experience much better is if the business owner actually answers the phone rather through text. I had to call and text until someone that lived in the community opened the gate for me especially where theres no parking area outside the gates. i do love the cake but it was a hassle to communicate and pickup experience.

It was not a surprise and when i called to ask for a refund the owner had me on hold for 8 minutes to then give me a half hearted sorry and response saying "that has never happened before our cakes don't usually do that, we can give you some free bread or 10% off your next purchase" In what world would you go back to a place that ruined the experience of something special in your life, the lady didn't care and had me on hold to go and talk to her bakers which half assed our cake. Bad Experience and what a waste of my money!
