The cinnamon bun is insanely delish! That cream cheese frosting is unmatched! Highly recommend checking out Dough Baby!

Dough baby was already a staple at the Pearl Farmer's Market, and now they have a brick and mortar close to the Olmos Circle. If you are looking for a kolache they have every flavor you could imagine: muffaleta, chicken, jalapeno sausage, different cheeses, shredded beef, and so much more. She is also known for her giant cinnamon rolls that they ice right in front of you. Definitely worth a drive and pick up a bunch for the week. Open Wednesday to Sunday until 2PM.

Small establishment but cute. Very friendly staff and loved they didn't skimp on the icing for the cinnamon roll. I tried their jalapeño kolaches, cinnamon roll and cookies. Bring your sweet tooth cause their bakery section is worth the price. I would pass up on the kolaches though. Not as fresh as I would have imagined for 10am but I was not disappointed making the 30 minute drive to try this place out.

This was my first time visiting a Ukrainian bakery, and what a treat it was! A classmate…read morerecommended Pashina, and before long, the whole class wanted to check it out--and we're so glad we did. We had a wonderful time chatting and enjoying some of the cakes. I believe we tried the Napoleon, Lemon Raspberry, and Double Brownie with Cherry. My favorite was the Napoleon cake: flaky, creamy, layered, and not overly sweet. It even reminded me a bit of baklava. I'd highly recommend the Napoleon cake for a birthday or any special celebration! Parking: There's parking in front of the bakery, along the side by the street, and in the lot behind the building, so finding a spot was easy. Seating: The bakery is small and quaint, which adds to its charm, but seating is limited. There's a small table with a few chairs and a cozy little nook by the window--perfect for enjoying your treats and catching up with friends. Overall, Pashina was a delightful experience, and I'm so happy I got to try something new. I'll definitely be back to sample more of their pastries and cakes! Thank you for having us!

The beef item reminded me of coxinha in Brazil but better - the chewy texture is there without the intense amount of bread. 10/10 would come back, you can taste the passion and attention to detail here. If I lived nearby I would come often easily. Super friendly staff!

I also had the raisin almond pastry the previous day, which was very good, but twice the size I needed. Love the low key atmosphere, and the French accents some of the staff have.

Their baking ingredients are sourced from France and the recipes are from her and her husband. And they're a local restaurant which I love supporting! We had the Petit Dejuener Deluxe breakfast which includes one pastry (either a croissant, chocolate croissant or bread pudding), a baguette (with either butter, homemade jam or honey), organic fresh eggs made to order or quiche slice, fresh squeezed orange juice and a yogurt with granola and fresh fruit and a black coffee or tea. It's a great option for those unable to decide on what to eat for breakfast. They have sandwiches, individual baked goods, à la carte items and hot and cold drink options as well.
