As soon as you enter the bakery it smells so darn good!! The breads are freshly made daily and they are all so delicious!! The service is excellent, the lady at the cashier is so polite and professional. The best in San Antonio so far, so glad I found this place!

For years these delectable breads have graced my alters for Dia de los Muertos. November is a special time for my family to present all the tasty treats that our departed family members enjoyed in life. Bedoy's add that one element that fills the belly and the eyes. Flowing marigolds releasing the aromas that lead to the alters presenting Muertos bread, sugar skulls and love. The empanadas and really, everything I've purchased satisfies my sweet tooth.

Updated review* We LOVE Bedoy's Bakery! We've been going every other Sunday to get some treats and they've all been fresh baked nothing stale. Their sugar cookies are really good and decorated cute. They could rival other sugar cookie bakeries that are in the elite sides of town. Their conchas are always soft and delicious.

It's great to have a nice Panaderia so close to home that also sells good tacos! I've been in a few times on the weekend and the lady isn't so inviting but the pan is good so I look past it. I stopped in today (Tuesday) at around 6:45am and was greeted by two lovely ladies that were so friendly! I tried their tacos for the first time and they're homemade with lots of love and flavor! There's tables to sit and enjoy your tacos/pan and cafecito before heading to work and tackling the day. The best way to start your day is with smiling faces and delicious tacos! IMO I've had their pineapple empanadas and the dough is thin with lots of filling The donuts are so soft and the chocolate is rich! I almost grabbed a sausage and jalapeños Kolache but went with the tacos. I'll report back once I've tried it. I paid a little under $15 for nine donuts, three empanadas and two tacos! Updates: Be careful when ordering bfast tacos. The bag was soaked in grease and leaked onto my seat. Taco was worth it though. Chicken salad combo for $5 was great! Chicken salad on a fresh baked bread, bag of chips and a soda. You can't beat that. It was a pretty decent size too!

Stopped by for some donuts for my son and dad, cinnamon twists were nice and fresh along with the glazed donuts. The strawberry Danish type of pastry however not so fresh. My dad said it "tasted like it was made last week" if not for this i would've given 5 stars.

First time at the location. Grew up on this stuff when they were on 24th st. Nice to have a bakery jn the neighborhood. Bought a box but only had one concha so far and it was delicious :) Looking forward to the camote(sweet potato) empanada later, they came out fresh as i ordered...

Delicious custard-filled cannoli for only $1 a piece! A yummy array of empanadas (pumpkin, queso, strawberry, pineapple) for 75 cents each! We scored 30 empanadas for slightly over $22 for a select group of our call center staff and lemme tell you, they were a hit! They now serve tacos for $2 and menudo (not sure on price) and they even have a few little tables with chairs so you can dine and dash outta there in a heartbeat. Get that sweet tooth satisfied at Bedoy's and you will certainly be a happy camper.

They stuff these bad boys so they're bursting at the seams. On a whim, I wanted to take a break from my current breakfast taco and see what The Original Donut Shop had to offer. I ordered my usual: A potato, bacon, egg, and cheese taco. The bacon was finely chopped, which isn't the way I like to enjoy bacon in my tacos, and it was very egg-heavy. But it was still tasty. The order didn't come with salsa, so that was a bit of a bummer, too. I also ordered a half dozen of donuts, because they were extremely affordable. They picked the flavors for me and as I made my way through them throughout the week, I was amazed how soft they remained. Normally donuts will get a little stale after a day but these stayed pretty soft. The one I liked the most had a maple glaze. In addition to the above, I also got a carne guisada taco to save for dinner later. It was excellent, though I did need to floss my teeth after, haha. But that was probably the most flavorful carne guisada I've had in a while.

Aggressive drivers, anxious shoppers, and every retail worker putting in a Nikola Jokic triple-double. I understand it is a different beast of food service when it is December 24th. Christmas breakfast is what starts off your day before ripping through presents, and this year my parents thought Duck Donuts' Christmas-themed donuts would be a fun change of pace from the cinnamon pull aparts that we normally do. On Christmas Eve, we placed a mobile order on the Duck Donuts website, which requires a mandatory tip to order online, and we selected the ASAP option that said it would take about 30 to 40 minutes. My dad, who was in charge of picking them up, said they were kind of behind and typically that was fine. However, as the donuts were coming out of the fryer, they were immediately decorating them with the icing and the crazy and unique Duck Donuts toppings. When the order was ready, my dad noticed that the dozen donut box was quite hot. Donuts are not usually served warm like that. When he got home to show them to us, all the designs of their gingerbread and other Christmas flavors had melted. All the creams had completely melted. It looked gross. We put them in the fridge to try and preserve them from melting any more, but only so much could be done to salvage them from their depressing state. It was a little tragic. I feel like this is a very rare occurrence from Duck Donuts, as we have had donuts from this location before and enjoyed them. It felt like the fault of Christmas special orders and the rush that led to a breakfast disaster from what was meant to be a special start of the morning. All things considered, the donuts were fine. They tasted okay, but they gooped up in your hands and just felt wasteful. For the price, you would hope they would not melt before you got home. Duck and cover donuts. RIYL: Specialty donuts, just not on December 24th.

At first, from the outside, I thought I was walking into a barbershop because of the door, but stepping inside was a fun surprise. The space is really unique--almost like a mini indoor shopping mall. The coffee shop is right at the front, but as you walk further back, there's a barbershop and a few other small shops to explore. Despite all that, it still has a chill, relaxed vibe. Plenty of seating and big windows make it perfect for hanging out with a book. I ordered the Holiday Inn Cambodia coffee, and it was fantastic. the service was great. Barista gave me a few recommendations. I'll definitely be back--this is a great spot to unwind, read, or just get out of the house for a little while. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
