    1. Close to my parents house. 2. They have cuerno and churros 3. Cheap It's all good. Ok now for an actual review/nostalgic story: My little sister started coming here about a decade ago and I came a few times to see what the big deal was. The air smelled sweet. More recently I started coming here because Charles Barkley commented on big ol' women from San Antonio and how we double fist churros. This put me in the mood for churros (Barkley KNOWS, churros are freaking awesome). Now I've been exploring a number of options in Austin trying to get my churro fix, but I just can't find the right crunchy to chewy ratio SO, I end up just saving the churro savoring for San Antonio. Things to note: English is not usually a strong suit here (about 2/3 of the time I've been), but I manage to make it out with a bag of goodness every time. That said, if you want to practice your Spanish, I think it will be welcome unless there is a line, if that's the case, save your Spanish and just point & hold up fingers. It looks closed from the outside, but I swear it's open and dimly lit on the inside. They're open from 5am to 9pm. It's easy to miss coming down the street from either side, so just look for the Autozone. The parking lot looks like an old skool drive in burger type place. $5 minimum on cards. I honestly like just grabbing a bag from here, going somewhere to get coffee and meeting up in the park or just having tea in my backyard - that's good eating.

We used to get the amazing churros and empanadas, and so many of the other great items there.

They are beautiful and everything we've tried was fantastic. They have some I think maybe gelato there as well. Seating indoors and outdoors. I forgot the exact flavors I got, but I remember trying pistachio, Dubai chocolate, and one other flavor. They were all really good. Since I was hungry, I also grabbed a chocolate croissant, which was delicious as well. I forgot to ask them to heat it up, but it was still very enjoyable. On the side, I tried their ice cream, and it was honestly some of the best ice cream I've had in San Antonio. I believe I got pistachio, taro, and coffee on the bottom, and they were all great. At the end, I also got Turkish coffee just out of curiosity. It's not in the picture because I purchased it after I finished my dessert. The coffee was very strong, with a unique flavor that made it fun to try. One small suggestion: the coffee was very very hot and nearly overflowed the small cup, so it might be helpful to add a "cup sleeve", use a slightly bigger cup, or offer an option to make it a bit cooler (adding an ice or two). Overall, this is definitely a cool place to hang out, especially if you enjoy sweets, coffee, and trying different flavors. Highly recommended and will be back for more!

There were very limited fresh selections available, and many items were still being baked during opening hours. In my opinion, a bakery should open with the shelves fully stocked and ready for customers, especially those of us stopping in early. The prices are reasonable, ranging from about $2.50-$4.00 for both sweet and savory pastries, but price doesn't make up for the lack of availability. I expected to have more options to choose from instead of empty or partially filled displays. For consistency in early morning breakfast items, I could have easily gone to Krispy Kreme, where you know exactly what you're getting when the doors open. That said, 85°C is convenient and their mango smoothies are great. Overall, it's a decent spot, but I wouldn't recommend going first thing in the morning if you're expecting a full pastry selection.

Everything was good & if I did have one near me I'd be 100lbs bigger from binging my favorite Japanese style pastries all the time. The selection here is unmatched.
