Nostalgic and delicious panderia! The ladies were very nice behind the counters. They were pretty stocked going at 11:30 am on a Sunday, surprisingly! You could smell all the sweet bread from the parking lot across the street where we ate at My Tia's. So we definitely had to check this place out! It's is small local bakery that is clean and well stocked. read more

This place is perfect don't listen to the bad reviews. I went first thing in the morning around 740. The lady is super sweet & yes go in get what you want & be satisfied, there's so many options. The place smells soo good, I feel like im at my grandma's house & all the food is freshly home made that morning & you can tell they put in the work for every pastry. Love the pumpkin empanadas. The lady who helped me was super helpful and patient as I struggled through the names of pastries and pointed at the ones I wanted. I got empanadas, conchas, biscuits and donuts, and it was the best pan dulce I've had in San Antonio. It's very reasonably priced too. read more

Pan dulce is sold in regular size and in miniature size! We purchased 200+ small white concha's for our wedding and they made sure to have them ready on time and completely fresh!!! Our guests loved them and even took boxes home. read more

Great selection of fresh pastries and delicious! My Hispanic father in law wanted to go here to reminisce and have an experience. But the elderly lady who was serving wasn't going to play along and was short with her answers and clearly irritated . So, Warning, don't ask questions, go in knowing what you want, pay and get out. read more

I purchased various types of pan dulce and they were all soft with various textures and flavors. It was definitely worth the drive. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a large selection. I definitely recommend the shredded coconut with strawberry pan dulce. read more

My all time favorite panadería in San Antonio. Beside the fact that's it's literally 5 mins away from me. My God, the smell that hits you when you pull open that door. It smells amazing!!!!! I ordered 120 bolillos for my nieces party, they were fresh and so soft. We had some leftover and I swear they tasted better the next day! My parents and I love this place. read more

No prices listed so depending on who you get and how businesses is going for the day/week they gonna get you on prices. I have eaten a lot of pan dulce in my day but this place ranks in the top 5%. The pan has a flavor that is just the perfect blend of Mexican spices and flavors. La Superior is Totally my new go to for my pan dulce fix. A bakery in the southside that takes a debit card and doesn't scold me for not responding in spanish. I'm a total coconut ya'll and La Superior has graciously accepted me. La Superior is stocked with your normal Mexican sweet bread choices like Marranitos and Pan de huevo. They have cookies that are bigger than most bakeries and so yummy! Their wedding cookies have a special place in my heart. They bake up a crunchy layered treat filled with jelly that is seriously one of the best pasteries I've had and most importantly I can leave with a large white bag filled with baked goods for a little more than 5 bucks! read more

We just stopped by to get some sweets. Person there was extremely rude, she stated she was the owner. She said the bread was all from today. She placed the bread in the bag, and we felt it through the bag, and it was hard, so we said we didn't want that piece.. We went to pay and she charged us for that piece because she said we touched it, which she also touched it.. All she kept saying it was was from today. Would not even give the bread to the squirrels. The rudeness of this person that said she was the one in charge, is what will not bring us back to this bakery. read more

Best pan dulce I have tried! I have never tried a concha that I liked, but this place converted me! The pastries were moist and had a lot of flavor. The matcha had a rich, earthy flavor, and the light sea salt cream on top added the perfect touch without making it overly sweet. It was smooth, refreshing, and one of the better matcha drinks I've had. I also picked up a few pastries, and everything tasted fresh and flaky. The café was clean, the staff was friendly, and despite being busy, the service was quick. If you're a matcha lover, I'd definitely recommend trying the Sea Salt Matcha along with one (or a few!) of their pastries. I'll definitely be back to try more from their bakery.

There's a certain nostalgia for bakeries like these in my heart. There is no indoor seating, it's more of a grab'n-pay'n-go type of spot. Nevertheless it's still a welcoming bakery and was very easy to order and pay. I was impressed to see all their selection when I walked in. The workers are bilingual and were very friendly. I tried a few conchas, azúcar galletas rosa, chocolate también, and other sweet bread de plátano. The bakery has great mixture of real sweet cookies/sweet bread and others with a more subtlety sweet flavor. My family and I loved our picks and will for sure return. We normally warm up the sweet bread a bit and eat them with milk. This bakery was great!

Next time same person 2 empanadas looked like something was wrong thought it was the lighting nope the 2 spots were mold but the worst part was taking them apart and all the mold that was between them was messed up so chunked them on the street. If you go and see that some of the trays are kinda empty don't buy from that tray. They are supposed to rotate out the older ones but the just restock without rotating the old. Bartenders do it but I guess bakeries don't. I stopped going after that second time, I know get my cookies from Wendy's 5 for 5 dollars. I paid 3 for mold plus a dollar tip lol.
