Our favorite kolache shop! I've been here a number of times for breakfasts, lunches, and order pickups for event weekends and Kolache Stop never disappoints. The food is always fresh, the staff helpful and kind, and the dining area clean. Just make sure you go in early as they sell out of some flavors fast! This last visit we ordered a wide variety of kolaches, both savory and sweet, and they were all delicious. The assorted meats, be it bacon, ham, or burger, were all delicious with a good amount or meat to be had. Vegetables are crisp, the eggs are soft and fluffy, and the cheese blend is to die for. The savory kolaches are always stuffed to the brim with their fillings and never leave you wanting. The sweet pastries are also divine with their yummy jellies, warm and buttery cream cheese, and streusel toppings to garnish them. They're excellent 'desserts' for the savories or just as delicious stand-alones. I'd highly recommend giving the Kolache Stop a try if you haven't already. They're absolutely delicious and you won't regret stopping by for breakfast!

Yes, yes, and more, yes! I do recommend this local staple of delicious kolaches! He has a variety from savory to sweet, and it can't be beat! My husband got the strawberry filled cheesecake kolache, the cherry cheesecake, the potato, egg, and cheese one. I had the bacon, egg and cheese, blueberry cheesecake, and cherry. Oooh la la! A must try for sure. It has a variety, so you can mix and match any day of the week and come out a winner! Please support this local luxury. You won't regret it! His customer service was impeccable, and everything was freshly made because we got there early. And it was clean and quiet. The bread was soft and succulent. Everything was warm, and they also sold cinnamon rolls, which are a day old for 50% off. I ate it, and it was everything a cinnamon roll is supposed to be. It has the right amount of icing, and the size was the size of my hand! This is a kolache land and I hope they expand soon.

I wavered between a 4 and a 5. The service was fast, friendly and very helpful. I went in for 5 dozen for work. The variety was good ... sausage, sausage/cheese/jalapeño, ham/cheese, fruit. The team loved them. The only drawback is that they are small. $16 for a dozen seemed a little much.

Kolache Stop has been in my neighborhood for many many years. It is a good place to stop by and get an order of Kolaches, both sweet and savory, for work peers and special occasions. They have quite a few different flavors and some interesting Kolache fillings. I usually go for the sausage, cheese and jalapeño, but today I decided on egg, sausage and cheese. We also ordered sausage and cheese and egg and bacon. All of them were very satisfying. The place is always clean and most of the time, the owner is there to greet you. Really, the only issue, is that kolaches tend to be on the small side so one is usually not enough. But, it is perfect for ordering big and almost every time I visit, there is are many choices. Good place to visit for breakfast or even, an evening snack.

They have the best Kolaches in town! And the people who own and run the shop are great!

I got this at my former employer. The egg kolache and the sausage kolache was the perfect breakfast. I was starving, and it filled me up.

I forgot the exact flavors I got, but I remember trying pistachio, Dubai chocolate, and one other flavor. They were all really good. Since I was hungry, I also grabbed a chocolate croissant, which was delicious as well. I forgot to ask them to heat it up, but it was still very enjoyable. On the side, I tried their ice cream, and it was honestly some of the best ice cream I've had in San Antonio. I believe I got pistachio, taro, and coffee on the bottom, and they were all great. At the end, I also got Turkish coffee just out of curiosity. It's not in the picture because I purchased it after I finished my dessert. The coffee was very strong, with a unique flavor that made it fun to try. One small suggestion: the coffee was very very hot and nearly overflowed the small cup, so it might be helpful to add a "cup sleeve", use a slightly bigger cup, or offer an option to make it a bit cooler (adding an ice or two). Overall, this is definitely a cool place to hang out, especially if you enjoy sweets, coffee, and trying different flavors. Highly recommended and will be back for more!

We tried their fruit shaped mousse cakes this time and they taste just as good as it looks. The mango is definitely my favorite, it had mango puree insight and the mousse was light but a little more gelatinous than I expected. The lemon was super sour as expected but not as enjoyable. It was super busy this night so there was absolutely no seating.

There were very limited fresh selections available, and many items were still being baked during opening hours. In my opinion, a bakery should open with the shelves fully stocked and ready for customers, especially those of us stopping in early. The prices are reasonable, ranging from about $2.50-$4.00 for both sweet and savory pastries, but price doesn't make up for the lack of availability. I expected to have more options to choose from instead of empty or partially filled displays. For consistency in early morning breakfast items, I could have easily gone to Krispy Kreme, where you know exactly what you're getting when the doors open. That said, 85°C is convenient and their mango smoothies are great. Overall, it's a decent spot, but I wouldn't recommend going first thing in the morning if you're expecting a full pastry selection.
