Great donuts here! They tasted fresh as implied. I absolutely loved the crispy glaze. It was great. The inside filling also tasted very fresh as you could almost taste if you were biting into a real berry. The inside of the store was really nice looking, like it has a special touch. Went to this donut shop last week after a while not going; I've been on a diet but I was craving a good donut and my partner is also OBSESSED with their kolaches and how good they are. I decided to go with something with more protein and I got the croissant sandwich in ham, egg, and cheese and it was REALLY good. Everything on the sandwich was freshly made and every bite was satisfying. I also got a maple donut as a sweet treat and it was really good too! I used to always go to the shipley's up the street but this is now gonna be our go-to place, the donuts are just as varied, very soft for the perfect bite, and their glaze holds up so much better than shipley's, even taste wise! The service was good, the young guy at the front greeted us immediately and he was super patient as me and my partner picked what donuts we wanted, and we got out of there fairly quick. I was told these donuts were extra tasty so I pulled up one weekday afternoon. The Hawaiian place next door takes up the limited parking so find a spot where you can. I was greeted and helped right away. The selection is nothing special so I just grabbed a couple common donuts to try. They were a little dry for my taste but the flavor is great. So far three of the donuts, a glazed, maple frosted and a sugared all seem "old" as if they were made yesterday. Not soft and fluffy as we expected. The flavor was ok but nothing to rave about. Light, airy not overly sugared. Just loved them. Did not have to pay $6 for one measly donut with cereal like many donut shops are pushing. I was in the mood for some donuts today. I found this cute lil place off of Austin highway. It reminded me of the donut shop I use to go to when I was a kid. Had an ole fashion feel to it.
