I went back and tried the kolaches and they are delicious. I ordered one of each and the dough is so good. This is going to be my breakfast stop on my way to work. The kolaches are to live for. A coworker of mine brought in kolaches to the office and they were not like the ones I have had in the past. The pastry around the sausage was fluffy. Cinnamon twist, donut holes, and a coconut donut are my usuals at any donut shop. This place was no different. The young lady who was helping me seemed new and clearly did not know the difference between a cinnamon bun and a cinnamon twist. There were slight communication errors, when I was almost charged for half a dozen glazed donuts instead of of half a dozen donut holes. Luckily, I was alert enough to realize what was going on. I've come to find that in San Antonio, it's the smaller donut shops that have a way more outstanding product than the chains. Super Donut had been on my radar for a bit, but it was entirely out of the way for me to ever make the trip. Luckily they opened this one up, which is a lot closer.
