Bought donuts this morning at 7:30 and they were refrigerate cold. Worst donuts ever. They do not seem fresh.

Needed a little pick me up donut, grabbed half a dozen donut holes for $1.50! Not bad at all! Good service, good donut holes. Wanted to try the fresh squeezed juice but it is quite pricey - $9.50! Yikes! It's a quiet spot not super busy. Will be back soon for the donuts! read more

Went for the first time to Super Donut recently on a Friday at 7a.m. We ordered 12 donuts and several kolaches. As we were eating, we found hair on two different food items. One hair on a donut and another hair on a kolache. We were so disgusted and immediately threw the food away. We will not be returning. read more

This place is amazing. I came across it because I ordered a breakfast sandwich and some donuts on Uber eats. The breakfast sandwich was perfect, ham egg and cheese on toast. Nothing fancy just the right amount of each and ingredient and perfectly toasted bread. The donuts were good also and they threw in a bunch of donut holes with them too. No extra charge. Fast forward to today and I knew I had to go a little out of my way to get another breakfast sammich on my way to work. And got shocked by the menu lol it's expansive. So many options. Husband wants donuts so I told him to try this place. He came on a Sunday morning and got a variety of donuts and kolaches. We had Bavarian creme with and without chocolate, rasberry filled chocolate with sprinkles, blueberry cake donut and some donut holes. He also got the sausage kolache and jalapeño kolaches. There were drinks there too. Next time I will check it out with him. I had to workout so I can enjoy the donuts with less guilt. read more

This area of the city is really in need of more places to eat but this one is good way to start breakfast... we can compare to other donut places and this it is really good. So far the sausage kolache was not my favorite but the donuts are worth the try, and their price is competitive (starting at .75) Check out the pictures of menu so you see all the variety. Many options of juices and smoothies. Cold coffee was prepared for me without asking what I wanted on it, so, ask specifics if you want, mine was very sweet and it tasted like it had some type of chocolate... for the coffee I still prefer other places. These donuts are awesome. The lemon filling was delicious and it was filled with the appropriate amount. No short fill. The maple buttermilk is awesome and the apple fritters are big and delicious. Not sure what changed and maybe we got it at an off day. Rolled up at 7am.....no one else there......and the lady behind the counter was just putting out more donuts. Half the display is kolaches, tacos, etc....which was filled; the other half was donuts and that wasn't. Asked the lady a simple question in a normal way (donuts were unlabeled so didn't know if something was cake or sour cream). She muttered something in her native tongue, and at first I assumed it was to someone else....but no one else was around. So I asked again and finally got the answer. Asked another question and she seemed put off; hey, if you don't want to sell donuts, maybe you should do something different??? These things are not complicated and the reality is you can get donuts lots of places. These aren't special. They really didn't have a great selection, other than large trays of heavily iced cake and old fashion donuts. And I do mean heavily iced, which the reason became apparent later. All I got was two donuts, the first two she pulled back for me, and just gave up getting more. I'll take my family somewhere else. Again, this place didn't have anything special from my vantage point and the service was not good. And.....maybe I'm wrong.....the donuts I got tasted off/old. I suspect that's why they were so heavily iced......to drown out the actual taste of the donut itself. I don't live here, so take my review as you will. But last time we came it was really good; that was a year ago, I think. This time, maybe it's new owners, a bad day, or who knows what. All I know is the donuts when into the trash and I took my money elsewhere. Won't be back. read more

Really good doughnuts and kolaches on the Far West Side. Bacon Maple doughnut was delicious! Bacon could've been crisper maybe smaller bits like bacon dust would work better. Apple fritter had lots of apple chunks in fresh crispy dough. We do like Instant Donut fritters better. Kolache we got had a hot dog in soft dough as opposed to Instant Donuts sausage. Great spot to grab more than just a donut. You can get a variety of different fruits juiced and Thai tea (my fav) We've purchased their donuts, my kids love them. I wasn't a big fan. I like those donuts that stand out and have certain ones for holidays and such. It's hard to find a great spot like that, each time we move. Would we buy donuts there again? Yes, because my kiddos enjoyed them. Plus, as I stated they have more than just donuts. So that's a plus for the kids and parents. Why is this place still open? When they first opened, they had lines out the door, and it was AWESOME. Fresh, fluffy, delicious donuts and kolaches. We would patiently wait in line because the hug were such high quality, and so good. We would buy dozens on dozens and take them to work, and they were quite popular. Until something changed. New owners? New cook? Not caring? Who knows.... it just started going downhill. Quality control is now non existent. My daughter asked for kolaches and donuts this morning and asked for Super Donut. We haven't been too impressed lately, but because she asked, we relented. My husband brought me an apple fritter, they used to be so good.... This was just disgusting and disappointing. What would they even put what I received out for sale? It was burnt, greasy, and had leathery apple pieces. Completely inedible. Kolaches were hard and tasteless. Donuts were gross. We are NEVER going back. Go, if you dare, but be warned it's AWFUL. read more

If you've never been here you're seriously missing out. They have the freshest, tastiest and overall best donuts around. They have so many to choose from and if they're out they'll make you fresh ones. The kolaches are amazing as well. The staff is always nice and makes you fee like a friend and like they actually appreciate you. We haven't tried to much else outside of the donuts and kolaches but they certainly offer it. By far the best around if not in all of San Antonio. Way better than Dunkin Donuts. We've been well over 100 times in the last few years and they have yet to disappoint. read more

They're always fresh and fluffy. Never dry, and overly sweet. Staff is always ever so kind. Sometimes I wish they were open longer because I don't always make it out before they close at 1pm. I've taken family who fly in to visit us here and now they're hooked too. Last year for my birthday instead of getting cake I got doughnut holes and made a tower at home for my birthday celebration.
