I asked for a dozen donuts and she said ok, then continued to fill a tray with bagged donut holes while I awkwardly waited until she was done. She finally asked what we wanted, I always start with two apple fritters, she told me one fritter is the equivalent of two donuts. That was surprising. So I agreed and continued my order. We paid and I went to my Doctors appointment. During that time my husband was texting me that we only got 7 donuts. I checked and yep only 7. I also saw the apple fritter was extremely flat, so i tried to break off a piece and struggled a bit because it was so hard. Both fritters were like that. We went back and the girl said that the long johns we got were also equivalent to two donuts. And she should have told us, but forgot Ridiculous!! Even so, we were still short a donut and the apple fritters were inedible. I'm assuming it was the owner who came out to say that's how they're made and people like it that way. I'm a people. I don't like it that way! I like it crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside Like how they USED to Make it! So disappointed.

Instead of offering an upcharge or asking if I wanted to purchase them separately--which I gladly would have paid for--the cashier just shut it down, costing the shop an easy upsell. To make matters worse, after I paid and left a 15% tip, she handed me the bulky donut box, a bag of kolaches, and two drinks completely loose. When I politely asked for a bag for the drinks so I could actually carry my order to the car, she just handed me an empty bag and walked away. I had to bag my own items, defeating the purpose of tipping. Do you not train your employees on basic sales or how to package items for paying customers?
