    One egg à la carte.
    Robert H.

My wife and I took our 2 adult kids out to breakfast yesterday and found First Watch restaurant while looking for Egg and I (which is closed btw). Son and I had pancakes which were huge! Good thing I only got one. Couldn't even finish it. Mine was a little dry and needed lots of butter and syrup. He had blueberry pancakes which he said were good. Wife had a waffle which she described as good also. The best part of the meal was the "million dollar bacon" which I believe was on the appetizer menu. Very tasty and well worth the $8. We had 2 of them. Waitress was very attentive and quick and check out was a breeze, being done online. The place was clean and looked to be recently remodeled ( though the floor in the men's bathroom was a little slippery). We will go again and probably just split a pancake and have more of that bacon!

First time here with a big group on Sunday. I loved that they were will to accommodate us even though we were a big party. The service was fast and great. The food is your typical breakfast foods. Honestly my omelet was ok, what I loved is my friend order the chocolate chip pancakes and they were AMAZING and fluffy and not to sweet just perfection, if I come back it would be for that!

Breakfast was so good and service was perfect- the coffee was fresh and tasty- they provide me with no. Dairy creamer which was awesome not many place have oak milk or almond milk. Definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast! There is a big selection of breakfast foods to choose from & daily specials.

I had a great experience! My server was Lydia, she was very attentive and all smiles! I got their French toast and loaded breakfast potatoes; it was excellent! The restaurant was very clean and inviting! 10/10 experience!

My bf and myself love trying out different breakfast spots around north SA. We came across this place since it's down the street from us! I love looking at cleanliness, service, and if quality foods match the price. First things first, walking in, it looks very tidy, very well lit areas, tables are ready with mugs for some coffee. The waiter/waitresses we have had thus far have been prompt, very nice, and helpful. The menu: can be a bit overwhelming in a good way because there is a variety of food with so many different ingredients that they use! You can indulge or have yourself a nice healthy breakfast option. (Carrot cake pancake is a great treat-huge size for just one!) The food: the few things I've tried have been really good with all the different types of flavors it goes into it, I can really appreciate whoever came up with the meal. They usually have a seasonal menu as well, and that's what I love to try. This morning we tried the B.E.C.-bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on sourdough, and the so cal hash, both were really good! Fave from the two was the hash! The flavors were amazing! Side note: they have alcohol there as well in case you like to start the weekend early.

The Market Smash and the Elevated Egg Sandwich
    Jeaux D.

Looking to assuage a little hunger after a few hours of Saturday morning tennis, the wife and I stopped in for some brunch. We were seated immediately in an auxiliary dining room. After considering many delicious candidates, the Market Smash won out. The wife selected the elevated egg sandwich. We barely started our conversation when the food was delivered. I half expected the waiter to say we knew you were coming and had your order waiting on you. It was less than five minutes. The Market had goat cheese on it with spinach, mushrooms, onions, and potatoes. It was perfectly cooked and very delicious. The wife made a happy plate of her breakfast sandwich. She also ordered the OJ. After tasting it she offered me a sip. It was fresh squeezed and fantastic. Overall, a fine meal and good service. Bin appetit Yelpers!

I have eaten at this location of First Watch a countless number of times and ~generally~ have had a good experience! Today, I decided to place a to-go order and have to say it was one of the better experiences! I ordered the Healthy Turkey Omelet w/o feta, an Inspired Italian Omelet and a Belgian Waffle. The Healthy Turkey Egg-white omelet was so incredibly fluffy and the onions were cooked perfectly! I thoroughly enjoyed this! Oddly enough, I have ordered "no feta" with this omelet every time I've been to First Watch and today was the first time this location actually got that correct- an exciting thing for me! As for the Inspired Italian omelet... it was great as well but not mine (just snagged a taste). The waffle was good but not great! It was a bit too soft and seemed soggy although it didn't have butter or syrup on it yet. Wouldn't order that again- may try the pancakes next time. I will keep going back as I love that the nutrition information is readily available, food tastes good and a larger group can all find something they want.

It was very uncomfortable after a while. Now the food. I am not only a healthcare professional but an extremely seasoned cook for over 40 years. The empanadas were good although I question if they were handmade. The goat cheese salad was very good although over dressed, swimming in dressing. My main course of the smoked eggplant & goat cheese ravioli was really unpleasant. First, mine looked nothing like the pictures shown. I had only 4 raviolis with few tomatoes, barely any mushrooms and swimming in a ton of 'extremely' salty broth that made it uneatable. The saltiness covered any taste of goat cheese and not sure where the eggplant was in this dishes filling. I should have taken a picture but forgot. The cocktails for happy hour were a small amount. My guest cooks salmon all the time and she said it was just okay. I shared this with the server, and he made excuses in less than an understandable way. I asked what the broth was and he did not know. It tasted like salted box broth. I asked for club soda, and I was given a chilled can of HEB club soda poured in a glass. Then the manager came in (I assume) and asked how our experience was and I shared with him about the ravioli. No comp, just sorry. I did leave the appropriate tip but please do not tell me these 'chefs' are from all around the world. I have had culinary experiences all around the world and this place is overpriced and a wannabe 5-star restaurant. Those who gave 5 stars either do not know good food, do not know how to cook, or went at a better time. Very disappointed and will not return.

Both were very good. The avocado toast had a distinct lemon taste to it. The berry and goat cheese were excellent. The goat cheese, and the sweet berries made a great combination. For our main meals, we shared the eggs Benedict Trio, the Chilaquiles, the berry lemon croffle, and the banana foster French toast. The eggs Benedict Trio comes with a choice of three eggs Benedict from their menu. We had the original with Canadian bacon, the green chili pulled pork and the crabcake. Everyone loved the green chili pulled pork. The Chilaquiles came with your choice of red or green salsa. I chose the green one. It was a little spicy. It came with two eggs. I thought that it was missing some cheese. It could've also used a little bit more salsa. The banana foster French toast was to die for. Very good and definitely tastes like banana foster.
