Place is a hidden but very nice. Food was freshly made and hot. There was a long line in the morning and it can get packed/crowded in the morning so come with plenty of time to wait to order, find a seat, and your food. Line is well organized and once you reach the register, you can order. The food took about five or so minutes to arrive at our table. Great portion of food that will most likely leave leftovers! Recommended!

We had a great experience at Baked Bird! The breakfast was delicious and everyone found something they loved. We ordered the El Chile Pollo, Baby Green (avocado toast meal), and the Dirty South...all were really good and full of flavor. Note, the El Chile Pollo would've tasted so great with a chicken filet vs ground chicken patty. The Train Wreck coffee was also a standout and definitely worth trying. We couldn't leave without dessert and tried the cinnamon roll and the peanut butter sandwich cookie. Both were the perfect sweet treat. The environment was super friendly and welcoming. My kids absolutely loved all the wall art and had fun looking at everything while we were there. It's a great spot for families and felt right at home.

This place was good, but maybe a little overhyped? Which seems our experience wasn't the norm. But we came here on a Friday around 10 and it was slammed. It took probably 20 minutes for us to order, and the line stayed at around 20 groups the whole time we were there. I ordered a sticky icky latte and was dissapointed it was brought in an unbranded to go cup even though we were dining in. For I think $8 it fell short of the price point. They were already sold out of most of the pastries like the cinnamon rolls. We ordered the Pablo eggscobar which I thought was too much bread. The potatoes were good. My husband ordered the dirty bird which was really good and definitely the better meal. Overall it was good and I'm glad to see a local option in the area.

If you're looking for something healthy and light, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for huge portions, decadent flavors, and a delicious hearty meal, you've come to the right place! Everything we had was so good but our favorite was definitely the pancakes. It had the perfect texture - slightly crispy on the inside and extra fluffy on the inside. We ordered the drinks too but they were way too sweet. There was a line to the door when we went but the service was fast and friendly. Can't wait to come back and try all the other things on their menu

We came here for lunch after the frien we were with raved about it after have breakfast here several days prior. She was correct. The service is great, as are the people working their. Their food and drinks are very good. I ordered the OG Smash hamburger which was very good especially with the fried potatoes that came with it. And to drink I ordered the Pontoon Alley a very refreshing drink. I will be coming back.

Omg! This place is the best! This is a late review as you can tell by holiday menu. I went on a weekend. It's pretty popular so be prepared for a wait. Service is friendly. You get in line, order at the counter and then find a seat. It's pretty spacious and even with how busy it was it was not difficult to find a table. Decor is great. Food is delicious. I tried The Birds Nest. A lot of food. Doesn't disappoint. Bestie tried a burrito but I do not recall name of it. She enjoyed it. I will say I was not a fan of the coffee I ordered. Too sweet. I'd go back and try another kind. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a new place to try.

The food here made the 15 minute wait to order incredibly worth it + the ambiance and the staffs amazing service.would recommend to anyone visiting San Antonio.

As you walk thru the front doors, you are transported into a place that resembles a cross between an art exhibit and a drink bar. The free spirited owner Matt, has taken his successful food truck business and expanded it to a brick and mortar restaurant located near the well traveled intersection of Babcock and Huebner. You order at the counter first, and then choose your table. Since the food is freshly prepared, I recommend choosing a baked good like the blueberry sconce to enjoy while waiting on your meal. I went with the Peach French Toast and eggs and wifey did the same less the fruit toppings. The Peach was fresh and tasty, but those crumbles mixed in were as good as a breakfast topping as I've ever had. The texture of the crumble was crunchy and had enough sugar to activate my taste buds to want more. I could easily take a bag of these home and snack on them all day. The vibe was peaceful and joyful all at the same time and I would encourage others to come check them out when looking for a chill experience.

This place is amazing. The coffees, the pastries and the food. It gets packed on the weekend, so get there early or be prepared to wait for a seat. It's decorated so cute and the staff is amazing. Highly recommend. Has big tables for big groups too and a few tables outside.

I've been a fan of this place since they had a food truck parked at reunion place (IYKYK), this however was my first time at their new brick and mortar. I ordered a Vanilla ice coffee to start. Which was pretty solid and not overly sweet. I Followed that by going with the Dirty south, which is pretty much a layer of potatoes, a biscuit with gravy, over easy egg with cheese and pico. As you can see by the photos it is a GRACIOUS size for little Ol' me. Everything pretty much made sense when it came to this combination lol From the crispy potatoes that were seasoned well, to the fluffy biscuit paired with the gravy!!! The gravy might just be the star of the show in my opinion. It had bits of breakfast sausage in it that was a nice touch. You can definitely tell it's scratch made. My food was on the less warm side, which would be my only take from today, but it's nothing that would prevent me from coming in again. I would definitely give them a try, they have something for everybody.

Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing, which is why I'm giving 3 stars. I ordered the veal Schnitzel with mushroom gravy (Jägerschnitzel) and red cabbage. The gravy had a strange gelatin-like consistency and lacked the rich flavor you'd expect from a proper Jäger sauce. The veal was extremely chewy and honestly made me feel ill afterward. The red cabbage was also very undercooked and completely lacked flavor. Overall, I personally did not find the food authentic or representative of true German cooking. What truly saved this experience was the outstanding customer service. Our server, Joseph, was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind throughout the meal. I also greatly appreciated Mr. Adam, the kitchen manager, who personally came out to discuss my concerns. He handled the constructive criticism with professionalism and openness, and I truly respected the fact that he listened carefully and considered my feedback regarding the sauce. Although I wouldn't personally return for the food, Joseph and Mr. Adam turned what could have been a terrible experience into one where I still felt valued as a customer. Their professionalism absolutely deserves recognition.
