Love this place. A friend recommended this place as we met there. The staff is very friendly and helpful in choosing and answers all your questions. It's very clean. They have a play area for kids set up so you can enjoy your tea and food while they play. They have have all kinds of brunch food, breakfast items and pastries. I got the Nutella and strawberry crepe that was so delicious and a bite size cucumber sandwich that we got with the tea for 2. They have all kinds of tea to try loose leaf to cold. I tried the adam and even as well as red rum. The Red Rum tastes good but is kind of strong just fyi. I wasn't the biggest fan of the adam and even because it was kind of milky and lacked any real flavor. I think it's a little overwhelming for me with the amount of options. The service here is really great and this is a phenomenal place to get a tea lover some gifts. They have cute little reusable cups to taste some of the teas on tap which is a great idea. They only do tapioca boba on weekends sadly and usually have popping boba on weekdays. Comfy chairs to study but not a lot of outlets available. read more

This is such a nice place, the owner visits your table and gives you a very informative speech and instructions all about tea. Fun and educational visit at La Tea Da. Came here for some tea sampling, and to discover a new way of brewing tea. The tea selections were amazing, tea flavors such as Banana Bliss were delightful and different. We learned how to make tea in the correct manner. As we sat down the owner, prepared to give us a free tea class, including tea samples. Place was beautifully decorated, very inviting with a lot of lighting. It was time for Daddy-Daughter lunch yesterday. I decided to bring Dad to try @lateada.sanantonio. It's located in the same plaza as Costa Pacifica and used to be the Gigi Cupcakes location. Divine was very helpful in orienting me to the teas and helped look for caffeine-free teas for Dad. All the orders were placed at the counter up front. I ordered a Ham & Swiss Croissant for Dad and a cup of hot tea (Hawaiian Breeze). We shared the Tomato Soup. I tried the Chicken Salad Croissant with iced Pina Colada unsweet tea. A bakery from New Braunfels made the chicken salad and it was delicious! A group of ladies was having high tea at the next table. High tea is $40 per person, which includes free-flowing hot tea, pastries, and sandwiches. I had received a promotion of a free ounce of tea, and I wanted to try the Blueberry Pancakes (caffeine-free). If you're looking for loose-leaf tea, they have many varieties to choose from. Being it was my Birthday, I was so excited to try this cute tea shop. Quite a trek for us since we live on the extreme west side of SA. We walked in and I was immediately welcomed and greeted by one of the employees. She was so sweet, kind, and knowledgeable and spent the time to tell me about the shop. I wish I knew her name. They have an extensive menu listed above the counter, and in the other room are self serve tea taps, and large canisters of labeled loose leaf teas. You can order from any- they will make whatever your heart desires. The loose leaf teas are also available for purchase. My body can only handle decaf and she pointed me to the most popular selections and got to sniff the interesting tea aromas. I decided on the Christmas Nucup, a noel rooibos with hints of vanilla and taro. Omg! It was wonderful and delicious! My son and I also shared a chicken empanada. We sat in their tea room at a round table, but unfortunately were redirected to sit at a small round patio table smack in front of the counter and front door. I stumbled upon La Tea Da after visiting my chiropractor in the same shopping center. I know it had a different name before but I'm not sure if it switched owners or just names. I was met by an extremely friendly lady who kindly told me all of what they offer. You have to ask to smell the different teas - trust me on this. They offer a variety of teas, coffees, and refreshers. You can even have a tea party here. I had a drink called the soccer mom that was sweet creamy and delicious. They have a small variety of baked goods too that are phenomenal. I visit the chiropractor weekly so I'll definitely be visiting La tea da as much as I can! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE OWNER. My mother won a tea party through a local news company. She had the pleasure of inviting 12 people. We ended up being just 7. Showed up they have two round tables placed together and several wooden chairs placed. Then they suggested we use these purple couch type chairs which we thought was sweet and accommodating, only to later discover it was an alternative motive. We had started sampling teas and even placed a food order over $80. The free items were okay, HEB bought Macarons and the cucumber sandwiches were really sad. At one point while we were preparing to try a new tea the owner comes over to one of my aunts and asks to speak with her. We were unsure what the conversation was and continued with our conversations. Then everything happened quick my aunt approached my grandmother and my grandmother stood up and they were leaving. The rest of the table didn't understand what happened. We see my aunt and grandmother walking out and the owner chasing them. We sat in confusion not sure what just happened. The owner walks in and up to our table and says "Well that was a fail". And we're utterly confused at that point. Turns out she singled out my aunt to tell her she shouldn't have sat in the "normal" chair but one of the purple as she's had people fall or break them in the past. And she told the rest of our group, "I hope y'all understand" and no we didn't understand. We were in utter disbelief. If you're so worried able these chairs breaking why the hell don't you invest in proper chairs. The OWNER waited 40 mins, 1 tea later, and our order of food to single out my aunt and tell her and then proceed to tell us I hope we understand when ALL of this could've been avoided. She even told her "Maybe you can use two chairs". WHO the hell says that to someone. If you're a plus size person beware the owner is fat phobic. Our entire party walked out and left. I walked back in because I had a few words to the owner but she was no where to be seen, but I spoke with an employee who apologized and said this isn't the first time she's done something like this and insulted people before. She's going to say something to the wrong person one day and that'll be the day. read more

There's lots of indoor seating in a brightly lit atmosphere with tables and cozy corners alike. They have tea accessories and things like jewelry and candles for sale too. The girls working there were so helpful and generous with recommendations and their favorite teas. If you find a favorite (or more than one), you can also purchase tea to take home.
