I hosted a book club meeting at La Tea Da and we had a wonderful time. The ambiance is wonderful, from the teas on display, to the beautiful table display, and the warm scent. The owner Lydia is amazing, she made our meeting a hit as she ensured to explain our tea options then made sure our pots were never empty. We were also served by Jason and they worked as a great team. Everything on the seasonal menu was delicious from the pepperoni and cheese empanadas and croissant sandwiches to the tomato soup, and macaroons. There are also displays with tea related items for purchase and they rotate based on the season. Overall, we had an excellent time at La Tea Da and if you haven't been, you must go today!
The cutest girl time experience I've had in a whole! I had a tea party today; 5 kettles of tea, macaroons, & cucumber sandwiches. The service was awesome and my guests and I had so much fun. Thank you La Tea Da. We cannot wait to return.

I tried the adam and even as well as red rum. The Red Rum tastes good but is kind of strong just fyi. I wasn't the biggest fan of the adam and even because it was kind of milky and lacked any real flavor. I think it's a little overwhelming for me with the amount of options. The service here is really great and this is a phenomenal place to get a tea lover some gifts. They have cute little reusable cups to taste some of the teas on tap which is a great idea. They only do tapioca boba on weekends sadly and usually have popping boba on weekdays. Comfy chairs to study but not a lot of outlets available.
If you haven't tried this place I highly recommend you grab a friend or 2 or more to join you for a tea party! This is such a nice place, the owner visits your table and gives you a very informative speech and instructions all about tea. You can try all different flavors and types of tea; oolong, green, wellness, decaf, etc. There are some small bites and prepackage snacks as well as their menu is online. Don't miss out on the honey! There's some outdoor seating, a small play area for children,, some great gifts options and even some clothing. They will set you up with eveeything you need to enjoy their delishous tea at home. While I was there I was already planning my next visit. I purchased some teas and love them in the comfort of my own home. Support a really neat local business, you'll be glad you did.

The tea selections were amazing, tea flavors such as Banana Bliss were delightful and different. We learned how to make tea in the correct manner. As we sat down the owner, prepared to give us a free tea class, including tea samples. Place was beautifully decorated, very inviting with a lot of lighting. I really enjoyed it, and will need to come back to purchase some of those delicious cookies and goodies that I saw at the counter. A plus place for sure.
It was time for Daddy-Daughter lunch yesterday. I decided to bring Dad to try @lateada.sanantonio. It's located in the same plaza as Costa Pacifica and used to be the Gigi Cupcakes location. Divine was very helpful in orienting me to the teas and helped look for caffeine-free teas for Dad. All the orders were placed at the counter up front. I ordered a Ham & Swiss Croissant for Dad and a cup of hot tea (Hawaiian Breeze). We shared the Tomato Soup. I tried the Chicken Salad Croissant with iced Pina Colada unsweet tea. A bakery from New Braunfels made the chicken salad and it was delicious! A group of ladies was having high tea at the next table. High tea is $40 per person, which includes free-flowing hot tea, pastries, and sandwiches. I had received a promotion of a free ounce of tea, and I wanted to try the Blueberry Pancakes (caffeine-free). If you're looking for loose-leaf tea, they have many varieties to choose from. Our lunch was not only delicious, but also very reasonable. For those in the Stone Oak area, you need to run to check this place out!
I won this tea party off of KMOL 4 Channel , me and my girls had so much fun. The owner was so nice and provided such excellent hospitality and the food was amazing and the tea was extra amazing. We will definitely be going back for another tea party. Thank you again La Tea Da !

We visited La Tea Da for a cute family tea party and had such a great experience! The atmosphere was perfect, and they even have an adorable little kitchen area where the kids can pretend play. The owner was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, making the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed. The kids had the bacon, egg & cheese croissants, while we tried the beef and Granny's chicken empanadas. Both were delicious, but Granny's chicken was definitely our favorite! Their tea selection was another highlight. The seasonal "London Fall" Earl/Lord Grey with lavender is a must-try! We also loved the Bourbon Brew Black Tea and Oolong Gentle Ginger enough to bring home 2 oz. of each, along with their gourmet honey made with turmeric, ginger, wildflower honey, and cinnamon. Such a sweet, family-friendly spot. We'll definitely be back! read more

This review is for the fantastic tour given by one of the employees, since it was my first time there And the fabulous cup of tea I ordered! Being it was my Birthday, I was so excited to try this cute tea shop. Quite a trek for us since we live on the extreme west side of SA. We walked in and I was immediately welcomed and greeted by one of the employees. She was so sweet, kind, and knowledgeable and spent the time to tell me about the shop. I wish I knew her name. They have an extensive menu listed above the counter, and in the other room are self serve tea taps, and large canisters of labeled loose leaf teas. You can order from any- they will make whatever your heart desires. The loose leaf teas are also available for purchase. My body can only handle decaf and she pointed me to the most popular selections and got to sniff the interesting tea aromas. I decided on the Christmas Nucup, a noel rooibos with hints of vanilla and taro. Omg! It was wonderful and delicious! My son and I also shared a chicken empanada. We sat in their tea room at a round table, but unfortunately were redirected to sit at a small round patio table smack in front of the counter and front door. I went to La Tea da for my granddaughter's birthday as she wanted a "Tea Party for her Birthday. Oh my GOODNESS, it was Over the Moon!!! They set up a gorgeous table for 8 people. It was decked out with gorgeous table settings. They explained the selection process and then they talked about the tea selections. We "sniffed" the abundance of teas. We selected 2 teas to start and then you select different teas as needed. We had delicious teas. Our favorite was the white dragon fruit tea! Our experience was 10 Stars out of 5!!!! I was SOO happy with the set up, the tea sandwiches were a Huge hit with the "kids" and the macarons were over the top!!! This was a nice experience, I do wish they had a dedicated* person to run the tea parties only* and I do wish each table can have at least two pots of tea...because tea preferences can be vastly different. Other than that, the scones and cucumber sandwiches were DELICIOUS and my favorite tea was Lady Grey with sugar and a splash of milk. If we were staying in San Antonio, we would definitely be back. read more

My husband and I are huge matcha lovers and found one of the best Matcha lattes right here in San Antonio! We live in Vegas and have also traveled to Japan, and we both were impressed with the quality of the tea and customer service. I ordered the cucumber sandwich as a light snack to accompany my ginger tea and it was delicious. Will be back here on our next visit! read more

This was a great spot if you love tea, well they have coffee as well. I was here for a tea party. There is such a variety of teas was able to try a few from strawberry tart flavor, to herbals. It can be overwhelming with so much to choose from. My favorite was the Almond biscotti. Food is available as well. Check this place out and enjoy ! read more

They also have a wall of loose teas. The staff let you take your time choosing your tea flavors and they are knowledgeable about the health benefits of different ingredients. The kitchen serves up baked goods and tasty bites. The tea shop has a relaxing atmosphere and is a great place to hang out with friends. We had a wonderful time during High Tea! Everything was delicious and well made. It tasted like it was all freshly cooked and they accommodated the different allergies we have. They also brought out a pot of hot cocoa for my young daughter. We had a few different types of English breakfast tea, that were so yummy. Highly recommend it! I stumbled upon La Tea Da after visiting my chiropractor in the same shopping center. I know it had a different name before but I'm not sure if it switched owners or just names. I was met by an extremely friendly lady who kindly told me all of what they offer. You have to ask to smell the different teas - trust me on this. They offer a variety of teas, coffees, and refreshers. You can even have a tea party here. I had a drink called the soccer mom that was sweet creamy and delicious. They have a small variety of baked goods too that are phenomenal. I visit the chiropractor weekly so I'll definitely be visiting La tea da as much as I can! (Side note- there's a cute little toy kitchen perfect for your littles to play with while you sip your drink and relax!) read more
