Randomly found this cute little cafe. The employees were so nice. I asked a lot of questions about the drinks and baked goods. They also explained their mission and non profit to help recovering addicts. It's more of a "pay what you can" system. It's also only cash but they have an atm there. The vibe was very chill and bright. They had a good amount of of seating inside and a bench and a few tables out side as well. They have a variety of baked goods and drinks and also have to fill shelves of crystals and tinctures, teas and stuff that you can shop through. They have a kids corner as well which makes it the perfect place to chill and relax while your kids are entertained. I tried the lavender matcha and brown butter rice crispy. The rice crispy was ok. It tasted buttery but it was a lil more chewy than I expected. The matcha was super good! It was very creamy with the right balance of flavor. I would definitely go back for another. read more

I had a fun time coming here recently. My friend and i were looking for something sweet after lunch and we found this place. It wasn't busy and the ladies in the front were so chill and fun to talk with. Loved they gave their thoughts on some good recommendations and had great conversations. They told me they are apart of a recovery program and this job helps to support those in similar situations. You can pay as much as you can but they do a cash only. I paid it but really appreciated they had an atm in the building can pull money for. I ordered a matcha drink and was so delicious. One of the better matcha I have had in a while. Ordered some desserts too and we're great too. Liked the cannoli and also took some cowboy cookies (good to dip in milk with) overall was a great experience and plan to come back here in the near future. read more

On a Sunday afternoon, I was looking for a place to have a hot beverage. I found sweet serenity in the shopping center where chachos is located. It is only open Thursday through Sunday Until 4 PM. They have a good concept to the business. It is pay as you can or as you wish. They do have suggested prices for their items. A small coffee or tea is about a five dollars suggestion. Some of the pastries are about $2.50 and some about five. They have the basic drinks available to include tea. I had the London fog. I did not ask if it was sweetened, but it was. I am not sure if they could make it less sweet. I did get a banana brownie that was amazing. They had a steady flow of clients while I was there. They have inside and outside seating. By the people that run Comfort Cafe and the sweet Serenity non-profit organization. As it is at Comfort Cafe, all the employees here are part of the recovery program. Customer service is wonderful. Extremely welcoming, love the decor in here. Very brightly painted colorful, smiling cakes and pastries. Plus they have a lot of mineral and healing things for sale, suggested donation prices. Things like angel bars, tarot, sage for smudging, other metaphysical, spiritual goodies. Tried the Chai Tea Latte, which was on the set side- even for me, who adds something like 4 sugars to my drinks- that might have been on me for not asking about it ahead of time though. The rocks and minerals, not going to deny how tempting they were, especially the rainbow colored ones, but unfortunately didn't bring enough cash with me. They are cash only, again like Comfort Cafe. Highly recommended place to stop by and hang out though! They even offer crepes, which I unfortunately did not have the stomach for since I had walked over from Comfort Cafe minutes before. I used to go to Comfort Cafe at the old location frequently. I haven't been to this new location nor to the coffee shop. I called kind of late and the kindest person told me to drive to them it is all ok I can still pick up pastries. They were cleaning when I arrived and still they all stopped and gave me the attention. We all had a good chat for over 15 minutes while I was looking around and taking pictures.
