The milk tea was alright, I like my milk tea stronger but the agar jelly was nice and chewy. I also thought the fruit tea wasn't too bad but it wasn't the best I had. This is a fun place to visit when you're craving boba! I love all the decorations inside and the young lady who took my order was so sweet. She helped me figure out which bobas to try since it was my first time in! Found this place in stone oak and was glad we did. Inside is spacious. A great environment to chat with friends or study if you need to. It was more than just a boba shop, they had different flavor ice creams, toppings, and even cheddar bacon fries. The music was a good selection of older (2000-2010) songs and the volume was comfortable. It was loud enough to sing along but not too loud to keep you from conversation. The my coconut smoothie was solid. The tapioca tasked fresh but the coconut smoothie was decent. I'd come back again for it but wasn't the best I've ever had. First time to have bubble tea and the honeydew melon tea was refreshing. Service was friendly and very helpful especially answering questions about the teas and flavors. Great refresher drink after working out. I did get 50% sugar which honestly felt like 10% sugar. So if you need some sweets in the drink, I'd recommend to say 80%. Compared with other shops, this is on the lower end of what I prefer. The mango flavor isn't that strong and slightly bitter. The bubbles are too chewy and soft. I wouldn't mind coming back for more if i'm in the area. Lastly, I did find an upside down roach in the bathroom........ yikes. I've been visiting this store for about 3 years now, and I have always loved their drinks which are awesome, and the staff, which is always so friendly. However, they recently started making changes, such as removing some menu items, and they started selling toys. At first, it was fine, as it was just a rack of stuffed animals by the door, then it was some keychains by the counter, then they removed some tables and covered some of the decor with more and more shelves, full of toys and cups. Then it was posters, hats, and charms, and now the counter is covered by pens. They keep adding more and more to the point where it looks clustered, and hard to move around, it feels very overwhelming. It lost its charm, it's overwhelming and not relaxing at all, it doesn't feel like a boba shop anymore, more like a toy store that occasionally sells drinks. We had dinner last night in the same plaza as Y Bubble so we stopped by to check it out. As we entered the store, on the wall on the left are pictures of plenty of drink options. There were a couple of unique options that piqued my curiosity. Thankfully, the ladies behind the counter helped explain the ingredients. My husband decided on mango tea which had so much variety of fresh fruit in it. I tried the cheese strawberry tea. At first I wasn't so sure about the cheese component. It is a cheese foam which is kind of like cream cheese but not heavy. In addition, we bought the mango cake among the desserts available. We haven't tried it yet but look forward to it. One thing to remember is to ask for the rewards card. For every 5,000 points, you get a free drink. Their recyclable cups are very high quality that I may reuse them. Glad this place is close by. The staff here are always helpful, the orders are correct and come out as quickly as they can manage and you can micro-manage your sugar intake. Another reviewer mentions fake flavors; it's true that some of the flavors verge on the artificial but if you stick with tea or coffee, brown sugar, boba, and some traditional flavors you can get a pretty fresh taste. The drinks here are pretty sweet, so if you aren't a sweet tooth, you might consider reducing to 75% or less on your first visit. Someone I know gets a coffee milkshake with boba here - I can feel myself vibrating into another dimension on sugar thinking about it but they sure seem to like it! Parking is a mess, which isn't in Y Bubble's control and has been impacted by a bar with valet parking opening up next door. There is another location on Bulverde with an equally weird parking lot but an ice cream counter, so you'll have to choose your battles. read more

Best boba in San Antonio!!! Well, the best of the 4 locations I tried during this trip. We had an unexpectedly long stay and comforted ourselves by trying various boba tea. I had the Rose Milk Tea and hubs had the Peach Fruit Tea. Mine had a nice strong black tea, the flavor was nice against the sweetness of the boba and the floral rose flavors. Unsure what to think of this place. The photos of the drinks they served looked better than when the time we visited. It looks like they ran out of the plastic seal for the top, so we got a dome top. But the reason why this place is a 3 for me is because the drinks they were making the night we went were watered down and didn't really taste the way we were expecting. The brown sugar milk tea was is definitely an imitation and not like Tiger Brown sugar. The boba tasted stale. And when we got the drinks the sides of the cups were sticky.
