Amazing food the people who work there are always nice and the acai bowls are so bomb

This review has been overdue. Last month, after an early valentine's lunch, my aunt and uncle went off in search of aguas frescas and mangonadas nearby while my cousin and I hunted for a dessert spot that was a little different. that spontaneous search led us to Just Smash'em--and it turned out to be a sweet find. The concept is simple but appealing: fun, unique combinations of sweet treats that lean slightly toward the lighter side. Think açaí bowls, waffles, and snackable options that could easily double as breakfast or a light meal. I ordered the Berry Good Bowl with açaí, oat milk, strawberries, blueberries, banana, pineapple, granola, almonds, and Nutella. In hindsight I could've skipped the banana and granola, but it was still delicious. The fruit tasted fresh, the sweetness was balanced, and the açaí base held up surprisingly well on the drive home. My cousin went for the Belgian waffle with banana and Nutella--the waffle he has been searching for in the first place--and it did night disappoint. Service was warm and patient while we navigated the menu, and we even got to chat briefly with David, the young lady went. He shared that the business started as a food truck before growing into this standalone shop. The nice young ladies at the counter even offered us to take a flower from their vase of pink carnations for the Valentines. It's a cozy spot with a welcoming I've, even with yea small arts-and-crafts area for kids that makes it feel like a neighborhood hangout. A fun kitty dessert stop when you're craving something sweet but a bit different. We'll definitely be back to try more. read more

This is a lovely smoothie/açaí bar that also serves drinks and popcorn! It has great reviews, so I wanted to check it out for myself. The interior is super clean, bright, and inviting. I do wish the tv menus were stationary because it was a bit annoying waiting for the screen to switch back to the menu from a highlighted menu item. I got the smashed dragon bowl, which is a dragon fruit based bowl topped with fruit and layered on top of granola. For $8.95, I was not particularly impressed by the flavor of the bowl. The ingredients were fresh, but the bowl itself overall was not anything special or extraordinarily tasty. I also didn't like that there was not an option to create your own bowl. I wanted the berry good bowl but would have liked to substitute the Nutella with something else instead. I was able to try a couple bites of the mango tango bowl, and it tasted good but was also nothing amazing. I had high expectations for this place, and it fell short of what I wanted it to be. I give this spot a 3.5 out of 5 stars because of cleanliness and store appearance, but the bowl itself is a 3 out of 5 stars. read more

First time showing up to this family owned establishment. Ordered the mango pineapple smoothie with chia seed with coconut milk. And of course the açaí bowl. Custom to my reference. And I'm excited to try it. Customer service is definitely outstanding. Very accommodating. The reason for the 4 star's rating was based on the amount of fruit served with my açaí bowl. The berries were slice and cubed with a small portion. Bananas were thinly sliced and the kiwi was just as small as the berries. I would've definitely like more fruits. Maybe next time. read more

Stopped by for the first time to this quaint little place for some Bowls. The owners were very nice and attentive. She mentioned they started with a food truck and now storefront. It's playing country music this Sunday and it's very laid back! I love this! I bought the flavor of the month, which was Artic Blue and it was delicious. The place is great staff friendly and the ambiance was great. I had the fried mushrooms and gumbo for appetizers and wow they were great. (The mushrooms tasted a little like plastic but they were good so was the brown gravy) We all got the 10 piece fried shrimp and wow they were delicious. Juices here are $13 and a $3 deposit is required for the glass. So you are encouraged to return the glass. However, if you forget your glass at home they charge you the full price and deposit again. Not a problem here, that's on me. Then, if you bring 2 bottles back next time, they will only credit you for 1 glass. So no matter how many juices you buy, you only get credit for 1 if you buy 1 next time. This practice just lost me as a customer! read more

They have only been open two weeks. Conveniently located at the shopping center at 281/Brook Hollow. The inside was very bright, cute, clean and service was great. I was told by the employee (or perhaps owner) that they started off with pop ups, a food truck and this is the first brick and mortar location. He explained that everything is made with fresh ingredients, no flavored powders. I ordered the Berry Good acai bowl (strawberries, bananas, blueberries, pineapple, and almonds) but what really made it stand out was the Nutella - yum! I look forward to coming back to try other bowls and the various flavors of popcorn and lemonade. So glad they opened in time for the hot weather especially since my other nearby bowl place closed recently. I hope they make it since there have been several food based businesses at this location over the past five year. Came here because I got a flyer in the mail for buy one get one free smoothie bowl. My sister and I was Ted to try it out since we're from San Diego and just moved here. It was really nice inside and everyone was nice. I told the person making my bowl that I was allergic to all tree nuts and peanuts and he changed his glove. I liked out the base of the bowl came out of a soft serve machine so it wouldn't melt in this heat. I got the old glory which has a vanilla base with fruit on top. Lemonade is the best I've ever had! You can get it iced or blended and both are so good it's always hard to choose what kind of lemonade I want since they also have other flavors. They have teas and other drinks made to order as well but I'm too obsessed with the lemonade. Service is also amazing and the staff is always so friendly.
