I ordered the "It's Coffee Time" smoothie which was a nice change to the typical smoothie. I felt like I was having a healthy burst of midday caffeine! Absolutely! My coffee smoothie made with almond milk was so good. They also have oat and coconut milk options. My son went for the Mocha mint with oat milk and added chocolate protein powder. They are back and I am ecstatic! The ladies are wonderful. The service is great. The place is clean. Masks are worn by staff and encouraged for patrons. The drinks remain phenomenal! I'm just going to put it in the beginning because it kind of grossed me out and was sad that I had to mention it in the first place but one of the workers came in and started making drinks but didn't wash her hands. I have tried a lot of juice / smoothie places in town but what I like most about this place is the fact that everything is made while you wait. A lot of the others have pre made juices and breakfast items sitting in their fridges but but here - and within there you can customize many items! Having decided on a smoothie I could not resist their breakfast chia parfaits. Having these ready to go is so convenient and they are well priced. I went with two different ones:Chia Pudding with berries ( very fresh too ) almond butter and house ham. And Chia Yogo with yogurt , berries and jam. I am a fan of both!! I saw a few reviews that the chia mix was bland and this can happen if you don't add a lot of sweetness but this was fine by me and it works when you eat all the layers together; but you can always add your own sweetness like honey to taste !! I just love this place. I am so glad they survived the lockdown of 2020. I didn't know they existed before. But, now that I do, I can say without a doubt, I will be going here now & again. The beautiful lady that was there when I went, lovely tall blonde who reminded me of my daughter, was so sweet. She was waiting on a lady even I first came in. She greeted me & stated if I had any questions she could help me out. I did have a few questions. I am an intermittent faster. So, breaking my fast isn't about how much I can shove down my gullet when I have my food window. I completely appreciated that she understood this fact. She gave me suggestions on what to have & suggested a wonderful protein powder that would fill me, but not be a sugar dump to me. (Being diabetic, that is extremely important to me.) The last time I was here, The Juice Experiment had only been open for maybe no more than a few months. Now that they have several more under their proverbial belts, they added a few more goodies to their menu, including the super extra Instagram-worthy colorful waffles. Each waffle is $8 a pop but you're getting a beautiful waffle topped with almost anything you want. So load 'er up, fire up your cameras, find just the right lighting, and feast with your eyes before your mouth. All internet horror aside, the blue majik waffle is a lovely cerulean color, as is the dragonfruit one (it's red) but the ones I had the most difficulty choosing from were the activated charcoal waffle (black!) and the matcha waffle (green!) I went with the matcha, and I got it topped with almond butter, honey, bananas, and blueberries. I loved the color dynamics between the blueberries, bananas, and the green waffle. The matcha flavor was also subtle and not overpowering. It was a delicious waffle! I do plan to go back for the activated charcoal waffle to fulfill an edible goth aesthetic. This business was out of business for around a year, is not surprise that Covid changed many things, but they are back and ready to serve the community. This morning we got to try a blend of coffee brew "It's coffee time, chia pudding and Morning Boost" Our favorite was the coffee brew that didn't taste so strong, and it also had a chocolate flavor in it, totally loved it. The Morning Boost has beets, it's red and it's a juice, great to start the day. Pudding, very filling, like a great breakfast, it had almond butter. If you are around, stop by, they open early, and access is easy. Zoo is really close, Universities also, golf, park... grab your drink and go for a walk. Okay so today is my second day trying this place. I LOVE it. I'm not from here. I'm from Arizona. So my first time was on December 21st. The day that I flew home to Az for Christmas. Came to try the smoothies with a friend , and we were pleasantly surprised. Both of us got "It's Brew Time," but with different non-dairy milk options (I got Oat Milk instead of the regular Almond Milk). Usually, I don't like coffee based smoothies, so I was hesitant to try this drink (I believe it has cold brew, almond butter, almond milk, banana, and honey in it), but the combination was actually really tasty and not too heavy. Even with the oat milk substitute (because many times, oat milk ruins the smoothie experience for me). My friend and I also waited for longer than we thought we should (atleast 10 minutes - we watched atleast 4 people enter and leave with their drinks while we waited there), so I would suggest ordering ahead of time.
