In my opinion, Natural ice cream is always the best and I finally found a place that does it right. This might be a bold to say, but this might be one of the best natural ice creams I've ever had. How does one spot make natural ice cream for creamy and fresh? If you have allergies to the top 9, they have plenty of flavors for you. We were about to spend almost $50 on 3 pints of ice cream through DoorDash, but because the app didn't list pint sizes, we called and asked for a simple accommodation. charge us for a small + large and just combine it into a pint. The difference to the business would've been about $2 total. Yummy ice cream that won't hurt your stomach. When we got to the front the lady asked if we been there before which we hadn't and she welcomed us and then went over the options that they offered. We got to sample a few and then decided! There was tons of Lactose free options packed with tons of flavor. We ordered a large & small. Walking in, it's a tiny shop with minimal seating but a colorful display of ice cream flavors and styles. I went with a three scoop cup of the oreo, texas pecan, and brazilian flavors with a scoop of reeses pieces at the top. The ice cream flavors are dairy-less so there won't be much of a creaminess texture. For a non-dairy dessert, it's still tasty, especially the oreo and texas pecan; texas pecan has cinnamon and whiskey infused, a unique touch. The brazilian flavor is more tropical, think lemon and pineapple. Probably should've gone with a different flavor since it didn't match with the oreo and texas pecan. But I learned. I prefer more traditional ice cream with dairy but they do their product quite well. Doesn't surprise me as the place started getting a line of customers right after I ordered. This is now my favorite spot for ice cream. My only issue with this place is that I wish it was closer to my house. This place is known for serving lactose free ice cream. I have never had an issue with finding parking here. There was no one else in line when my fiance and I went here.I ordered a large cup that was half strawberry and half peanut butter. Today I ventured here for a complimentary ice cream from Yelp Elite Squad. The ice cream shop has bright and colorful decor and a simple ice cream bar with a variety of flavors. I got to choose 3 flavors so I chose peanut butter, coconut, and Texas pecan. The employee asked if I wanted to try any samples first but I declined this time! I started with the coconut and I immediately said OMG! Wow, this was bursting with flavor and chunks of coconut shavings. It was so incredibly good! Next, I tried the peanut butter ice cream. Wow! Talk about being at the right place at the right time! There I was driving with my family to watch some Christmas lights when the craving started. That craving for something sweet like candy but creamy. Obviously that meant my craving was for some ice cream right? Well let's add up my allergies (gluten, dairy, and lactose) and see what's available. I'm not in the mood for one of the 2 vegan from this flagship store (always carrying Mexican Vanilla and chocolate only, IYKYK) so I ventured out a little and discovered The Freshest. A fresh visit, and still a delicious outcome. My mom and I dropped by for a post lunch treat, and we were greeted by the amazing Angela Cordoba herself. She was very kind to everybody that came into her shop. This time I came for something sherbet-ty. We needed something to calm our stomachs from a heavy lunch and Freshest has very light tasting ice creams. I got the Colombiana and Kiwi and my mom went for the Brazilian. Sooo good. We got there about 2pm and we were in and out. The ice cream did not make the entire trip back home before it was gone. Angela's shop is dressed up for Halloween. Wonderful tropical flavors We stopped by this ice cream shop before heading back to our hotel. This was my first time at an ice cream shop specializing in Brazilian and Colombian ice cream. This place has a small hole in the wall feel. It's tucked away in the shopping center behind a restaurant. I was given the opportunity to try what this small shop had to offer so we stopped by. This place wasn't what I expecting, they had plenty of options for those with digestive issues. The server who I didn't catch her name explained to us that the ice cream was Colombian. We were given some samples and I went with açaí and Colombia with granola, my husband choose strawberry and something with mint (forgot the name) and did a topping of nerds.
