Whether you grew up in S. Texas eating paletas or not, their selection is definitely next level! Graciously invited to this event & so happy I came. To me, it's set deep on the N. side of town, in a Stone Oak shopping area. Its clean & open. It reminds me of the ice shops back in the EU. I really like it. The lady was busy, & handling it well. She was alone & had a line of around 10 people. She took care of everyone with a great attitude & a smile. Next came me. I let her know I was with the Yelp Elite. She told me exactly what Fiesta pin looked like. (Thank you again. ) I chose the Ferrer dipped in chocolate & added almonds. It was SOOOOO good! It was my super treat. In addition I purchased a few more. I got a pecan, coconut, manberry, pistachio, matcha, Dubai chocolate, & mago chamoy. I get these kind when I come here because I consider them my fancy paletas. The lady was so sweet. I had let a Dad & daughter go in front of me because I knew I was going to order a bunch. Gotta let the littles get their yum on! Door, gotta let us big ones get ours on too! If you're looking for a super yummy paleta, go check them out. The staff is fantastic. The shop is a great place to sit inside, or outside - or take it to go, they have insulated bags for sale too. The variety is great. Prices are a bit higher than your average paletas, but these aren't your average paleta. Worth it!
Flavors galore Milk and water based paletas Mexican snacks Champs apples Sugar free options Toppings available chocolate nuts and caramel Chocolate Dubai Pistachio Flavor Speedy service with a smile fast check out Music playlist was on point and the employee was singing along creating a positive experience for the customers Will definitely return to try other flavors I has the sugar free with fruit and ordered the Dubai pistachio with chocolate to go and it stayed frozen all the way home to Boerne
This is a cool place! Came for a Yelp event that was great. Good idea and paletas were good. My wife got the coconut with a "topping" of coconut. Very good! I went for the sugar-free version which was a frozen yogurt and fruit bar. Man, when they say yogurt, they mean yogurt. Just plain all frozen yogurt. Not bad, but I guess I got what I asked for when I said you were free. Lol! It's not that I did not like it, it just wasn't anything special.... It will actually dip these in chocolate, but then the toppings don't stick. Interesting idea, but I do wish that the toppings that you picked would actually stick to the bar. Small recommendation for any future use, but other than that, I thought this place was really cool and very relaxing and comfortable and the regular bullet that were very good!
Holy Pops is a super cute paletaria in Stone Oak. You choose your flavor and you can customize your pop with all kinds of toppings. I got the ManBerry. It's half mango and half strawberry!! It was so delicious!! I topped mine with chamoy and gummy bears!!! I would definitely be back!
This is a great place to stop in with the kids for a nice refreshing treat. I like the fact that they use real fruit and I could get a dairy free popsicle for my goddaughter. She loved all the toppings and the service was excellent. I think it's a must try put it on your list.
This cute shop has tons of great paleta flavors. They have water and milk based options. You pick one as your base and add all the toppings you want for 50 cents each. I tried the Nutella paleta dipped in chocolate. It was really refreshing and I appreciated that it didn't melt instantly like chocolate dipped cones usually do. The only reason they get four stars is because, in my opinion, the paletas are way overpriced. I've been to a few other shops in San Antonio that sell them for 60 cents to maybe $1.50 each. So $4 for similar quality seems like a stretch. Cool concept but not something I can see myself driving out of my way for regularly.
Yum. Good selection. If you want more flavors than what you find at the grocery store, this is the place. Just keep in mind 1 paleta is approximately the cost of a box of the store bought ones. Will I be back, probably not. It's just not worth the drive for the value of the product, in my opinion. But, they are good. :)
They had a large selection of paletas. They had all the classic flavors and some unique ones I had never seen before. I tried the Reese's with a chocolate dip. It was very good. You could tell the ingredients were quality. The he chocolate was very rich and tasted amazing.
Cute shop with a variety of paleta flavors and other snacks. I tried the milk based strawberry paleta dipped in chocolate , very yummy! It wasn't as sweet as ice cream so it was very refreshing. I'd like to return to try the coconut paleta. Look for the pink Holy Pops truck in front of the store.
The paletas were really delicious, but the floor and chairs were sticky and dirty. They should do some deep cleaning.
Pops were very appealing in appearance. Small shop very clean with a nice shady spot outside with picnic tables. I arrived right at opening so chocolate dips weren't ready. I was offered toppings and there was a good variety. They carry pallets for our furry friends and you can purchase a cute little insulated bag to get your pops home. It worked because it was hot outside and I drove 17 minutes home with paletas still frozen. Brigadeiros advertising on window but weren't available. Upon return trip, the girl at the counter asked me what those were and unaware of them so not sure if they have them or not. Service was okay and parking lot has many businesses so lots of parking in the area.
The paletas are delicious! I got a Ferrero with lechera paleta and the Dubai chocolate one. Wow! High-quality ingredients, and the service was friendly and fast. The decor is cute and reminds me of my hometown hangout spot after school where we would get snacks and work on our homework. I loved it! Will be back again to try all the other flavors.
Hot Dawg! This has to be the best place to serve paletas that I have ever been to. The manager said that this place has been here for 7 years. I can't believe this is the first I have heard about it. I ordered the "Mango Chumoy" w/more chumoy as an extra topping. It was so good!! They also have paw-psicles lol for your dog so that makes this place a dog friendly establishment. They also serve up milkshakes so yes I will be coming here a lot more. The decor and atmosphere definitely gives off that classic ice cream/candy store vibe. They had many flavors of paletas to chose from so take your pick.
From the moment I walked in--this little shop caught my eye with these fun colors, cute sayings, and for us Yelp Elites--a cute balloon display! Greeted with a clean shop and wonderful service, I was given a Matcha Paleta to end our "Matcha Month." It was topped with special 'Yelp' Sprinkles and a 'Yelp logo' wafer. As a gratuity for this event, I also purchased an Oreo & a Fruity pebbles Paleta (which were super yum!) as I learned that every Paleta you see is made in-store! (We love to support our small businesses ) I also learned that they make milk based pops and water based pops--for our lactose intolerant friends. Proud to say I will be back again to purchase more! read more
Upon arriving we were greeted very kindly and friendly. They had lots to choose from for paletas, even had dips and stuff to top them as well. They even had a doggie pawleta too. I love that!! We had the mango, pecan and vanilla milkshake while there. The restaurant was cute and well kept up read more
Delicious and many flavors of paletas! They have toppings as well, but the paleta alone is perfect for a hot day! They also cater out their cart and I saw a truck outside which would be fun for a gathering. We loved the strawberry and the bubble gum! Cute little store with both indoor and outdoor seating. read more

A great variety of paletas to choose from. We tried the watermelon and strawberry, both delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more. read more
OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!! This place was so delicious!!! Where have you been hiding! I got the ferroro with fudge dip and pecans! Chefs kiss! My daughter got the bubblegum with sour rope. Of course, kids favorite. Hope to come again soon. The man behind the counter was so nice! Very patient with us while we decided, since I had such a hard time choosing. I ultimately went with the Ferrero since it was the last one. I want to try the manberry or dragonfruit next time! read more
Went for the Fiesta Medal Yelp event and it was a great experience! We were greeted warmly when we entered. We had the strawberry and Dubai bar. Both were super delicious! The single staff person was a pleasure to talk with and explained everything well! You can have your bars covered in chocolate or not. Also toppings as well. I think one topping works fine. Just go back and try all the flavors and toppings! The decor is cute and cozy. Theybalso have other things on the menu as well! So keep an open tummy and your senses will enjoy this great little dessert place! read more

We were in the same area for dinner and with family from out of town, I thought to bring them to Holy Pops to cool off with paletas. My great nephew was so excited when I told him about it. He got even more excited when I told him about dipping the paleta in chocolate. His favorite is chocolate. He wanted to top it with sprinkles! My brother and husband also got paletas. My husband had Strawberry Mango with half chocolate dip. My brother had a fully dipped one! Happy campers! read more

Im addicted to this place! They have so many different treats! They have candy, chips, corn cups, corn cups and of course paletas. Paletas are frozen fruit or cream bars. They even have peanut butter paletas for your dog. read more
Honestly the best paletas are the ones made from the ingredients that God gave us. So delicious, so refreshing and authentic. They have options to add toppings to your paletas but since mine were to go, I chose not to, but I definitely would've added Chamoy and Chile lime to mine. They have so much variety. I'm sure there's something there for everyone. This is definitely a go to place for Texas summertime. read more

I saw this on Tik tok and we decided to give it a try. I loved it, I am more into sour things so I was able to accustom it to my liking. Definitely give this place a try. It's a nice and clean shop and during the Texas summers it's a MUST! read more

Okay so, OMGOOODNESSSSSSSSS. It's safe to say that this was the BEST, not an over exaggeration THE BEST popsicle I've ever had. The Breakdown: I order a strawberry cream based pop Half dipped in chocolate Topped with toasted coconut But wait theirs more Then DRIZZLED with Cajeta syrup The Location: So it's in a shopping center with a bunch of different shops. The inside was very simple and straight too the point. & it was perfect because once I finished my wonderful popsicle, I just walked next door and got me a drink from this restaurant can't remember the name (something about a seagull) I love how it has both options of cream based or water based popsicles as well. It gives everyone an opportunity to try out the amazing flavors. I believe I counted over 30 different flavors and at least 17 different toppings that you can add. Syrups, candies, cookie pieces, you name it they can add it. I will definitely be returning and bringing some friends with me next time I stop by read more
Paleta had major freezer burn and was disgusting. Tasted nothing like pickle or pickle juice. Immediately threw it away, the employee was rude and was not inviting. Had never been here before and it looked so cute. Saw it on TikTok and thought to just give it a try. My sister got a strawberry flavor and said it was very good. However that wasn't the case for me. read more

Hi Alexis! We appreciate your review and feedback.…
Really enjoyed this place, tons of flavors. I ordered the soursop pop and others in my fam ordered some unique ones I can't remember the same to besides avocado and watermelon. Either way, a very simple menu, lots of varieties, good price, and very delicious. Come on by on a very hot day and you won't regret it. We really really enjoyed it. read more

Holy Pops is great for paletas, I've always loved coming here and getting a fun new flavor to enjoy. The last time I was there I saw that they added elote con chile (Mexican corn cup) to the menu. I was super excited and ordered it since the cashier talked it up and told me how it's the authentic Mexican way to make it with white corn. I got my order and left and was very disappointed that my corn was half warm/half almost cold! Very underwhelming! I could tell that the flavor could've been really good but it not being hot totally threw me off. Holy Pops itself is really good, I think I will stick to paletas though and get my corn cups from other places in the city. They also have a really cute lobby, great for a "youngster date." read more

This is a hidden gem in a strip center in the Stone Oak neighborhood. The decor is creative & from the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. Alex greeted me w a smile! (Okay, so her smile was hidden by a mask but her EYES smiled! ) She was friendly & helpful! I ordered the coconut paleta. I chose to have it topped w toasted coconut, pecans & a perfectly disbursed drizzle of dulce de leche! I asked for a cover so I could take it "to go".... Uhhh... that didn't happen. After I took a pic of it, I decided to sit down in the cute & comfy chair next to one of the 3 glass top tables & I devoured it. One word... YUMMY! It was totally worth cheating on my diet with! I could've chosen a no sugar paleta but the coconut called my name... I swear... I heard it whisper "Melisssssa" read more
Yum! Delicious fresh, made-from-real-stuff pops! On their recommendation, I got a cucumber pop with chamoy sauce and chili topping -- delicious! Savory refreshment. Kids loved their choices too -- mama privilege let me sample their mango and strawberry; fruity and totally delicious. My wife got the mango with the chamoy inside -- yum. I love the little trays that come with the sauced pops -- very smart! If you have kids, take a few extra napkins! There is a little bench outside the store that is perfect for sitting and enjoying your pops. My recommendation for them would be to put up a couple of "betcha didn't think of that" combos (holy unions?) for lazy people like me who want to try fun new combos. Covid note: Door sign noted that masks are required and staff was masked. Yay! read more

If you are looking for a fun Paleta treat, this is the place to be. There is a variety to choose from. You can dine in or take them home. Our favorite is the oreo cookies dipped in chocolate, sprinkled with Oreo cookies. For a healthier side, we went with the mango , strawberries and yogurt. Excellent customer service. read more
This place is adorable and fun! I appreciate that the flavors are divided into water and milk based and they have flavors ranging from basic vanilla to pitaya. I had the mango/chamoy pop and topped it with more chamoy, sour belts, and taramindo bits. Thank goodness for the boat each pop is served in. I have never seen a dish exactly like this but it was necessary especially to catch the toppings. I'm sure this place will be very busy as we head into summer and with people feeling safer about going out in public. Service was also very friendly. For anyone that has lived in SA for a long time you may be tempted to compare these to those of El Paraiso. It's apples and oranges. El Paraiso's are 50 cents each versus $3.50 at HP but in exchange you get great ambiance at Holy Pops and some of the cost is probably due to their location in Stone Oak. Holy Pop's bars are extremely sweet, such as the coconut, watermelon, and pineapple so I'm thinking they use more sugar than El Paraiso. Also, would be great if Holy Pops had more than just a wrap around plastic sleeve on their pops to go and had an actual sealed wrapper instead in order to prevent your pops from getting a freezer burnt taste. read more

I walked in on a weekday evening and getting service was a breeze. A man walked from the back and took my order. They have many options to choose from, water base to cream base and you have the option to add toppings on top. Some of the topping choices were gummy bears, chamoy, tajin, chocolate and etc. This place is great for a small treat. To add this place is woman owned as well. read more

*EXPERIENCE DURING COVID-19* DELIVERY: Holy Pops now offers contactless delivery y'all! They are a very small team, so they divide the city in different areas, and deliver to a different one each day. Because they are located in Stone Oak, they deliver to that area on a daily basis for free. I believe deliveries are usually between 5-6PM, so don't expect your paletas at 9AM. For free delivery, your order must be $20 or higher. If you want to keep an eye on their future delivery schedule, I highly recommend to follow them on social media. FOOD: During the last few days, the esposo and I have been celebrating #AtHomeFiesta and acting like if we were at Market Square, so we obviously needed to order some corn in a cup from Holy Pops. Why is their corn in a cup so special? Because it is maid with Mexican Corn (aka. white corn)! For a lot of you this might not be a big difference, but for people like me that were born in Mexico and haven't had white corn in years is a HUGE deal. White corn is not as sweet as the yellow corn most people use. It is a little more crunchy, absorbs more flavor and is ten times healthier. Anyhow, their corn in a cup is the bomb and everyone should order it. I also love their camote adobado veggie chips. They are very delicious and healthier than regular chips. SERVICE: The team at Holy Pops has always been the nicest. I've never had a bad experience when communicating with them. Like many businesses out there, they are just working hard to keep their business running. Thank you Holy Pops for staying open and brining delicious snacks to our home! read more
