Bar and dining area
Nayra B.

Super dirty café and average food. Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here. I swung by Terra Cafe this afternoon for lunch and was pretty disappointed in my visit. Though the barista was very sweet, the cleanliness of the café as a whole was abysmal. The restroom was nasty, literally all of the vacant tables in the dining area were either covered in food crumbs or coffee rings, and there was stuff splattered on the walls. The food was also just mid at best. I ordered the Lavender Matcha Latte with oat milk and a Terra Burger. The Matcha Latte wasn't anything special. It was crafted decently, but entirely lacking in flavor. It didn't taste like grass fortunately enough, but the taste of the matcha itself was very weak and was nearly lost to the lavender and oat milk. As for the Terra Burger, I've simply had better vegan burgers. The patty itself was rather bland and seemed to rely far too heavily on the spicy mayo for flavor, but the sauce just didn't do the job. Texture-wise it was a pretty good burger, it just didn't have the flavor to hold it up. Between the filthiness of the bathroom, the dining area in need of cleaning, and food not good enough to offset the uncleanliness, I'm totally okay with not returning to Terra Cafe. If you give this place a try, I hope you at the very least have a cleaner experience.

FABULOUS experience here ! Plenty of vegan options . My goodness I could eat here all week & never be bored. My vegan taco was delicious ! Lots of fun goodies here . Conveniently located next to TRU FUSION . Indoor and outdoor seating available . Great pricing & not a long wait for food . Staff were very helpful.

The parking to this cafe is very challenging, best to plan on parking in the garage and walking over. Friendly staff but also they felt indifferent. Seating is limited inside and outside. I didn't order any food but I did order a smoothie which I did not feel was worth $13, it wasn't creamy and smooth it tasted more like it was whipped texture, fluffy like. It wasn't my favorite, I most likely will not return.

I was meeting with a friend for coffee and I chose to check out @terracafe_satxrim. It was roughly midpoint for us. Considering it was still the holidays, parking wasn't too difficult. Both my friend and I had coffee drinks, mine was Cold Brew with oat milk. I also ordered a Berry Oats. It was a generous portion and very good. This cafe is a good place to work with many outlets all around the cafe. It has outdoor seating on the ground level and also has rooftop seating. It was sprinkling earlier so I didn't check out the rooftop area. Aside from coffee and tea, juices and many other breakfast food items are available. Consider this place for your next meet up!

Me outside the locked door waiting for my non existent protein smoothie.

Terrible, I ordered a protein smoothie 30ish minutes before they closed. I got here and was greeted with rudeness and was immediately told that they were closed. I had to knock on the door because I already purchased online and paid in full. I was then told to wait outside (it's 101degreess ). Still waiting outside 10 minutes after I first arrived and just was told everyone left early and they never made my protein smoothie. Terrible service. The customer service was not there. I'm beyond irritated and would never recommend just because of this interaction. Wait ! So funny! They aren't even suppose to be closed for another hour! Even better.

This location has been a fave of mine in the RIM area for a few years. The ambiance and food choices never disappoint. The service can be a hit or miss. Parking can be a headache on the weekends. There's a mini park across the street...great for those with littles. You really can't go wrong in the RIM, there is something for everyone.

Love this spot! They just changed from Revolución to Terra Cafe. I was excited that they kept a lot of my favorite items but added some good new items. I love that they have so many healthy items so I never feel guilty about coming here. My favorites: breakfast wrap, coffee, almond toast, margarita, bean and cheese tacos. The staff is pretty friendly and they bring out the food daily fast. I love that you can hang out here and work if needed. They have a rooftop area where you can also enjoy.

Coffee was delicious! Amazing vibe and super clean, the music was fire. Service was kind! New favorite study spot. They have a cute inside with places for chargers and a nice patio to chill on. Avocado toast was out of this world and sooooo worth the price!

Came to this little spot after a hike! It's located at the RIM and has a cute aesthetic inside. We had the breakfast wrap and a taco. For drinks we had the iced chai latte and a sweetened matcha. Everything was so light and yummy! Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

This cafe replaced Revolucion Coffee & Tea at the Rim and it's similar. Same type of menu items and still delicious! Everything looks mostly the same inside too and there's still the outdoor patio and rooftop terrace. The only thing I don't like here is the cooking ventilation must not be good and you always leave smelling like food if you sit indoors..

I wouldn't personally chose to dine here again. It's a little overpriced for what you're getting.

Cute little quick bite to eat. Macaroons were delicious and the banana pecan praline French toast was so delicious!! Will definitely go back to try some of the other menu items. We went during a slow time so the service was good and the food was prepared quickly. You go up the counter and place you order then seat yourself. Plenty of seating. Would make for a great brunch spot. Pricey but to be expected in this area of town. Everything in The Rim is pretty pricey and this is right smack in the middle. Across from Target right next to Cold Stone.

Green tea and Terra Blue (my favorite!)

The food was good.. coffee was good. Good Chai. Friendly service. Only complaint was that it doesn't take cash.

Casual eatery- order at counter and pay..food will be delivered to your table. But, what did I encounter upon entering? omg their beautiful pastries, desserts, and Mexican conchas. Picked up a guava pastry for later. Ordered the Mexican Cubano torta without cheese and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I chose the birote bread- sourdough crispness on the outside with soft inside texture. This torta packed a ton o' flavor! Ham, bacon, kielbasa sausage, pickles, and bread slathered in their chipotle mustard and cilantro mayo. Delicious! I chose the house salad, rather than soup. Tummy was more than happy. For dessert, I ate the guava pastry in the evening- buttery pastry with a sweet guava jelly filling. Yum! Happy to return in the future to try other menu items : ) Lovely interior decor, indoor and outdoor seating , clean establishment.

It is a little on the pricey side, but the lattes and bakery items are really good. They used to have a sugared donut that was my absolute favorite, but unfortunately they no longer carry it. The tortas aren't your typical Mexican torta, but they're still good in their own way. That said, I don't really come here for the main food--I come for the bakery and the café vibe. The salads are also solid if you're looking for something lighter. Service is ok. There's this one guy who usually cleans the tables and he's so friendly. I didn't catch his name but he's on it. FIRST TIME TASTE!!!…read more The office was restless and needed a late afternoon pick-me-up to (hopefully) get us driven and focused. We placed an online order and a coworker went to pick it all up. I perused their website carefully so as to make my first tasting impression a promising one and decided on a Strawberry Cloud Latte. My review is based on what I have experienced myself and with their website and on my beverage solely. Their website is very bright and pretty. Loved the language of their story. How yellow is more than just a color to them. And I couldn't agree more!!! Whoever wrote the text on this site has my heart. This business aims to be kind and to be a bright light, however brief, in someone's day. I love this. They also have a reputation of hiring foster kids that age out of the system. Their stores, although similar in color scheme only, looks different from one location to another. The one at La Cantera in SATX is beautiful in its modern chic with large crystal-like chandeliers and white LED backlighting. On to my drink... I ordered the Strawberry Cloud Latte made with soy. It's an espresso (or Matcha) beverage with a strawberry flavored cold foam. Their ice cubes are a bit large and don't fit through the sippy cup lid until it's been given time to melt down. Meh. And my cold foam was not as fluffy as to be likened to a cloud by any means. But the coffee was nice and I'm so glad they had soy! Other milks include almond, nonfat, whole, oat, coconut, half n half and heavy cream. I would love to try their matcha next and sample that Carrot Cake Bar with all that cream cheese frosting!!!

It's exciting to finally have a La La Land in San Antonio. I've visited the Houston locations…read morebefore, but the coffee there hasn't always been consistent. So far, this location hasn't disappointed. The layout can feel a bit cramped up front since the register is near the entrance while most of the seating is in the back. I usually go between 9-10 am, when there's little to no line. Closer to lunch or later in the afternoon, though, it gets significantly busier, sometimes with lines stretching outside to the road. Thankfully, drink turnaround is pretty quick. There's a decent amount of seating, but it can get loud if you're trying to get some work done or study. My go-to drinks are the La La Latte and the Strawberry Latte, and I enjoy trying their seasonal flavors. I don't usually like overly sweet drinks, and theirs do lean on the sweeter side, so I sometimes treat it more as a dessert than a coffee stop. If I'm in the mood for something stronger, I'll ask for an extra shot. While it's a bit pricier than other coffee shops, it's worth it as an occasional treat.
