I usually am not one to leave reviews but this experience was horrible. The adults working had a very young boy working and learning how to take orders. I was told that a drink I've been ordering since 2020 did not exist, even when I pointed it out on the menu. The little boy was not at fault for this because he's a kid !!!! The drink was made by the adults and when I took my first sip it was just straight syrup, they didn't mix my flavor into the drink, never experienced this before. And there were lavender buds in my drink, I kept getting mouth full of flowers that I would have to spit out and again this has never happened before. My cream also smelled spoiled, although I can't confidently confirm it was. I'm just upset that the adults had a kid very obviously too young to be working handling orders. I love boba drinks! There are a few of these Tealicious Cafes in San Antonio and each of them offers a huge selection a flavors and add-ins for their drinks. The service is usually very quick and most of the employees are friendly. The texture of the tapioca pearls can often be different, depending on who cooked them. I prefer mine to be slightly undercooked but some like them nice and chewy. I have tried a few flavors and they are fairly consistent each time. They do offer other add-ins but I stick with tapioca. The De Zavala location is limited on seating but Im usually just grabbing and going. It is located in a busy strip mall so parking can get full at times. Stop by and give them a try! read more

It was good, not bad, but I've had better boba. My friends liked that their chip bags are only $1. The cashier who took our order was friendly. You will never run out of things to try at Tealicious Cafe! As both a customer and a former barista, I enjoy this place immensely. The drinks are never too sugary or flat, the boba never too chewy or hard, and in the several times I have been the drinks are consistently amazing, and between locations no less. I've found that in your typical boba joint the crazier the flavors on the menu, the more over saturated in order to compensate they tend to be, or the more 'standard' flavors taste like every other place. That is not the case with Tealicious. Each drink is perfectly crafted and the staff clearly do not cut corners or try to overdo themselves. From the tried and true to the more exotic flavors, you've never had it the way Tealicious does it. They are that good. Today we tried three different drinks. The Matcha Green Tea Milk Foam Slushie was heavenly. It was smooth and went down easy, the milk foam on top blending nicely with the quality matcha. The drink wasn't too icy and the matcha wasn't 'watered down' by the milk. Everything worked together so harmoniously and I dare say it's one of my favorite matcha drinks on their menu. The Peach Cream Blend was subtle and very refreshing. The flavoring wasn't artificial tasting but rather tasted like I was biting into a peach itself. Nice, sweet, and natural. Lastly, the Orange Cream Blend managed to taste both like an orange creamsicle while keeping an authentic orange fruit taste. I was a little skeptical on this one, but it proved me wrong. It was just as refreshing as the Peach Cream Blend while taking me back to my childhood. An excellent drink. The boba, as always, was phenomenal. I believe it's made with honey, making it sweet and not artificially syrupy while giving you all the boba-y goodness. If you haven't, definitely treat yourself to a boba from Tealicious Cafe and enjoy the quirky atmosphere. Make sure you get your punch card; you'll be using it! read more

This location is doing a grand opening with a 50% off promotion on Jan 31, 2021 only. COVID measures are in place. Some tables are marked as not to be used. Masks and distancing are required, and the staff are insulated from the customers with a plexiglass screen. They have an intercom system so this screen doesn't block communication. Service was very fast. We were in and out in 5 mins. Like their other locations, the menu is pretty large and conveniently on monitors on the wall. Best practices are to ask for less ice and if you don't have a sweet tooth, reduced sweetness. My wife and I got their green Thai tea and black sugar milk tea, each with tapioca. Tapioca was sweet, gooey, but not too chewy. The green Thai tea isn't as obnoxiously strong as a standard Thai tea, so that's a plus to me. The black sugar milk tea, which has has a nice shot of black sugar. The drink was not too watery but also not too concentrated. Like I mentioned, this place has a lot more drinks to try, so I'm excited to try the rest of the menu. read more

I've been tons of times over the past year and tried a variety with my favorites being the black sugar milk tea, lychee ice blend with lychee jelly, and avocado smoothie. It's fairly consistent each time and always made me want more! However, it seems like every time I come, the price kept going up and up. The price I'm charged is never what's on their menu and their only explanation is they haven't gotten around to changing it. But it's been that way for over 6 months now. This is their new location. The employees were following COVID-19 guidelines. I tried their strawberry cream blend with egg custard and chocolate cream blend with egg custard. The blend at this new location is 100% better than the other location located on 1604. The blend is smooth and does not leave the drink watery in 3 minutes. If you're craving a basic strawberry or chocolate smoothie, this will satisfy your taste buds. The flavor is on point! It's exactly what I am craving when I think of strawberry/chocolate. The egg custard gives the cream blend a nice texture and a hint of sweetness, for those who don't want boba. The boba is good here too but it's not that chewy nor sweet. I did notice something really cool in this new boba shop and I thought it was really cool. It was their branding logo "Tealicous" on the high chairs at the window.
