We were looking for a cold drink while driving and I remembered this small Boba shop and we were not disappointed. We walked in and the place was small and clean and smelled good. I also had to use the restroom which was pretty spotless, I was impressed! We walked up to the counter and were greeted right away, we had a few questions and they were answered right away, so we made our order. We took a seat at one of the tables which were nice and clean and checked out the TV while waiting. As we waited the place filled with people there was probably 20 people in that small space! It took about 15 minutes to receive our drinks but it was well worth the wait. I got the Mornin' dew which had a light taste of honeydew and semi sweet, perfect for me! My wife got the Asian Passion which was rich and sweet with chunks of fruit! neither of us like the pearls so we did not get them All in all a great experience and we'd go back in a heartbeat. read more

Absolutely delish. I was happy to see they had some stuff that has protein in it. The Batman is really good. Will definitely pop back in here again if I'm over this way. The gentleman working was friendly as well. There are some tables to sit inside. Seems like the whole theme is kind of Star Wars, superheroes, Pokémon, etc., between the decor and the drink names. read more

The drinks are really tasty and the guy who I always see working there is chill and friendly. I just get the same thing each time but I'm sure the other stuff is solid. The place is kind of small and the furniture is not very comfortable but it doesn't see like people usually hang out inside the store for very long. I've been going here 2 years, going on 3 now. This is the spot my fiancee and I went for our first date and we just can't stop coming back. Not a single time have we ever left unhappy. There's also always something new to try, games to play as well. I remember our first time there we had a competitive Jenga game while we waited for our boba. As soon as we walked in we were greeted w/a friendly welcome & told the yummy available options. The tea was brewed fresh which is awesome but I would suggest you request extra ice if you want it colder (the ice melted so quick). Taro was tasty--just a little too sweet for me--(would recommend blended over iced for sure) but I would def be open to trying something completely different next visit. The boba was delicious, but the bathroom was GROSS !!!! GROSS !!!! GROSS!!! I didn't even want to hover that's how bad it was, but unfortunately, I had to, ugh, and I still shudder at the thought. Found this place by accident while we were leaving a nearby restaurant. We decided to give it a try, it's a small place and they have a few tables and there are some games that people can use. Since we'd never been there, like anyone else, we asked questions about the drinks and the guy at the register just gave us short responses and hardly looked up at us. So we ordered what we thought would be good, since he didn't even mention they had a specialty menu, and we weren't happy with it. Boba was fine. Waited 25min with about 8 orders ahead of me. Cleanliness of space left much to be desired as walls and baseboards seem to be worn down. Was denied a second straw because supply was running low. Much to be improved though maybe the single employee working on a Wednesday afternoon was overloaded and overworked. read more

I came here because I saw good reviews, I ordered the mango crush with boba. Upon ordering the guy said it was a 10-15 min wait. Got my drink and it was watered down, the flavor upon tasting it is nothing compared to mango. Also the boba is vey hard to chew won't be coming here again. read more

Not many honest people in this world, but here is a true story! The owner of this boba drink cafe completely wowed me! My kids love this stuff and beg me to take them here for a treat, they even pay for their own drinks! 13 and 8 years old! So, I finally give in last weekend. We walk in and there was three people in line. he waves at us as if he actually knows us, then asks if we lost a wallet! ?! No, well my son did, but... then he holds it up! I'm in shock! We may have been in three maybe four times in two years. He said he had been looking for us and tried to call the business card that was inside the wallet. Seriously!!! My 8yr old had a dollar maybe two in his wallet! The owner held on to it all this time! It had to have been since July! The bubba drinks are fantastic! Coffee is even better in my opinion but that's because I can't have sugar! Everything is made fresh to order and he lets everyone stab their own straw in the lid for that ever so satisfying "pop" sound! Glad that he will be relocating out of this shopping center! read more

Finally met Alex, the owner, although we have seen him around a few times. This is my most frequented Boba place. I cannot necessarily say because it is my favorite but because I do not usually go out of my way to find one. I go here because I am a bibliophile and the next door Nine Lives Bookstore is a regular afternoon for me. I understand that process are high these days in general, but I still have to say I wish they would do more specials or something because I find $5 drinks pretty high (when you want something even a little more than the basics). The art than adorns the walls is always nice to see. Bulbasaur has been here since day one for me, so I was tempted to buy it (some art is for sale), but Alex informed me it was not for sale, since it was a gift. That saddens me but also makes me glad that a familiar face will always be here. Maybe wish there were more games here or live music acts? The drinks are good, customer service is great, but prices are not stellar and I do not feel like there is much reason to stay around. This, I usually take my drink with me to the bookstore next door- which is encouraged, as indicated by sign! read more

I truly love this place. It's the best boba drink I've had. They are always so nice and the area is so clean and well kept. I always get a drink here whenever I'm nearby. Only complaint is sometimes it's very packed and it takes a while to get your order but it's worth it. It only proves how good the drinks are here. read more

First off, I've been to many places that serves boba tea (I'm from Sugar Land/Houston). My husband and I visited this spot for the first time today. When we first walked in I noticed how dingy the place looked, behind the cash register- counters and floor were grimy and layered with dirt. The flavors are all artificial- powders/syrups, no fresh anything. (Containers holding the flavors were old, and dirty as well) After tasting the drinks- very watery, too sweet, the tapioca seemed a couple of days old and the drink left a very bad after taste. Not to mention the service- the girl serving us seriously stopped making our drinks to answer a personal call. Smh, so unprofessional. This place needs an update, face lift and should try making the drinks with fresh fruit w/ fresh tapioca. read more

After checking out Nine Lives Bookstore next door, I decided to pop into Bobalicious. I told the guy behind the counter that it was my first time ever stopping in and he was so super friendly. He recommended the San Antonian which is an interesting strawberry and avocado concoction. When he first told me what was in it, I'll admit I was skeptical, but he assured me that it was their top seller and that the avocado only lent a smooth, creamy texture to the drink. I figured, what the hell. So, the drink was definitely interesting. The tapioca balls were plentiful and were almost too much. There was a tapioca ball in every sip. I liked the drink okay, but it was a bit on the pricey side for what I basically can sum up as a smoothie with chewy tapioca balls in it. Cool atmosphere here, nice artwork and couches, really sweet employees. I'm not sure if or when I'll be back because it's far from where I live, but worth a try. read more

He told me the best way to get the coconut flavor in that won't be too over powering is that I should consider putting coconut milk in it. I agreed and than I noticed the delicious looking gelato! I love gelato. So I figured perhaps I'd get a small smidgen to enjoy with my boba. So he tells me that their gelato is actually from Italy the ingredients came from there, and offered me a sample. It had a nice creaminess to it and wasn't sickenly (I know that's maybe not a real word) sweet just perfect flavor like I was on a tropical beach with a straw in a coconut that's been on ice for 24 hours so it's nice and cold. So refreshing. Than I seen the ube flavor and I was like - wow that's what I want, he's like oh you want to sample the Ube flavor, I was like no, I'm already convinced it will be delicious as well. So I ordered the medium gelato which came with two scoops, one of each and it was so good I had to actually pace my self from not wolfing it down. I still had not sampled my boba. It was still wrapped up. But than the guy comes from behind the counter and offered me a second, well he didn't offer it he just gave it to me, I was a bit surprised as I only ordered one drink, but he explained how he wasn't sure if I he remembered to put the coconut milk in the boba tea for me. I told him I haven't even had sampled it yet and really in my not even tell the difference. He told me no problem I already made it for you. Came again for a celebration with the family. This place is getting more popular which is good! Sadly since they moved it's a lot smaller. No more couches or tables. Probably best since the pandemic. The boba is still bobalicious. I got the cowboy and my wife got the custom chocolate avocado which doesn't have a name anymore. I would call it the Sweet Hispanic if I was the owner and put it on the menu. Sadly, a Karen came in this day and parked illegally directly in front of the place in a fire zone as entitled as she could be. Screaming at the owner that she waited over 30 minutes. It's just that one hardworking, kind guy and she was very evil. Very typical of these kind of low-lives to treat hard working people like this. Felt bad for the owner and her son who looked embarrassed and ashamed of his own mother. Glad he stood up to her. We gave him more of a tip and thanked him for his service and he was very kind to us. Support this delicious boba tea business. There's a wait but it's worth it trust me. Give it time and this place will grow again and blossom. read more

Longtime favorite for probably over a decade I believe. Always friendly customer service and today was probably the busiest I'd ever seen it before, but we were patient. Another poor teenager ahead of us was waiting for his and his Karen of a mother stormed in to complain about the wait and I could tell the kid was so embarrassed at how rude and awful his mother was acting towards the owner/manager. I'm glad the manager/or owner guy stood his ground though. Kudos to the guy at the counter because he wasn't in the wrong at all. And also glad to see that business is thriving. Took forever to get my two drinks. One was a Thai coffee and the other one was a regular black tea. I must've asked 5 times to make it unsweet. And after almost 25 minutes of waiting, I get no "thanks for being patient" and a SWEET tea. The middle aged man behind the counter looked more annoyed when I finally got my drinks. There was 3 other people ahead of me and seems like he ran out of patience on the last person sitting in there waiting. I hadn't come here in almost 10 years and this was a serious disappointment. BOYFRIENDS & HUSBANDS BEWARE. THE OWNER OF THIS STORE SEXUALLY HARASSES WOMEN. My wife who regularly visits this place has said the owner repeatedly calls her "sweety" and even though this made her feel uneasy she ignored it for the drinks. Then one day she used the touchscreen kiosk they use to give you rewards and he pulled up her profile image AND BEGAN MAKING COMMENTS AND FLIRTING WITH HER. She has not and will not ever return. This is a great decaff alternative to coffee shops. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing. The walls are decorated with colorful painting from local artists. They have a vintage arcade machine, many board games, and plenty of areas to sprawl out and relax. I recommend trying the morning dew + avacado.
