I took food to go today. I bought meat ball Pho, and 2 grilled chicken vermicellli, sesame Chicken, spring rolls, and summer rolls. Everything was terrible for some reason. I have never had a bad experience with this place. Until today. The grilled chicken was very dry and burnt around the edges. Sesame chicken was also dry and tasted old and hardly any sauce. the spring rolls were old and stale, not crunchy but bland and soft. The Pho tasted different and flavorless, the sides that come with the Pho were meager and stingy. I am a regular customer there and have always recommended it. But no longer. I spent $80 to feed my family and I feel robbed. This was particularly hurtful because my mom was not feeling well and requested this food from this restaurant. This place will soon be called Pho Texas. I don't care what name change comes about. I will never go back. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I am very disappointed. read more

I had the best Vietnamese coffee that I've ever had in my life from here. It was perfectly milky and sweet with a rich coffee, roasted flavor. The Bahn Mi sandwich I had was good and had fresh vegetables. However, the bun was very crumbly, and I made a mess all over the table that I cleaned up, of course. The meat could've been seasoned a little more. The fried spring rolls were good with lots of glass noodles inside and came with a great dipping sauce. I would come back for the Vietnamese coffee alone. This location has plenty of indoor seating and a drive-through which I thought was nice. The chicken pho ($14) was a very large portion of chicken and bean sprouts, though with no other veggies except cilantro. It was definitely enough for two people, as was the iced tea ($3.50) which was almost 3x times the size of a soda can - guess everything really is bigger in Texas! I ordered the "V1. Grilled Pork Fried Spring Rolls Vermicelli", which wasn't the cheapest thing on the menu, but I was rewarding myself for getting in a short run and my steps for the day. I found everything to be flavorful - especially the grilled pork and the fried spring roll. I liked that there were some vegetables in the dish; and probably would have enjoyed more of them. The person manning the front of the business was attentive and immediately greeted me upon entry and seated me with a menu right away. She also seemed to notice when I was ready to order. The food was brought out very quickly - and the fried spring roll was very freshly hot! The ambiance is nothing to write home about, but that's to be expected for a "strip mall with a drive through" storefront. Everything looked clean. New management taken over 3 months ago. Have driven past a lot but never went in. I like it. Very clean and the staff were very friendly. Hours 10am to 9pm. The menu and benches looked brand new. Hidden gem! Coming from Houston where Vietnamese food is king, and fantastic, it was hard to find a place here in SA that stacked up. As soon as you pull up to the menu, the speaker does not work. That's fine. So when you're looking at the menu, there are no prices. Why? That's already a red flag. I pulled up to the window and the lady that works there greets me. She asks what I want. I tell her I need to see the menu first so she hands me the menu. I order the pho meatballs because it is $7.99. My total was $9.90. How? How is that possible? When I get home and open up the plate, there is only three meatballs cut in halves. Okay.
