I had been craving pho for a long while now. Stopped in today on the way home from a bird walk at Headwaters. I ordered the P1 soup, an order of egg rolls, and an iced tea. The tea was the first one to come out. I added my sweetener and squeeze the lemon. It was perfectly brewed. Lately, it seems like a lot of places serve iced tea that is more like water than tea. This was very flavorful and rich with tea taste. The egg rolls came out next. They were a little on the small side, but they were absolutely fresh and delicious. I did my usual stab with a fork maneuver and poured some of the sauce into them. They were still way too hot when I took my first bite. I let them cool down a little bit before finishing them off. They were very good with just the perfect amount of filling. I could taste each of the components they were the kind I really like. There's nothing worse than biting into an egg roll and getting overcooked innards! The pho was definitely the star of the show. The broth was excellent. It was loaded with more meat than I've seen recently when I've eaten at other places. The bean sprouts and basil were very fresh and plentiful. The restaurant was very clean and modern. It seemed like only one gentleman was working there. There were only four tables in use when I went, and he handled them very well. I will be back for sure. read more

The food is always perfectly delicious! Strong flavor with lots of meat in each order. We always order multiple to-go, and the meals are packaged well to where there is no spillage and it's still hot when I get home. Service over the phone and in person is good. Grab yo crew and jump in the car, truck, van, plane or helicopter to get to this joint! You won't be disappointed! I threw out a question on the next-door app about the best pho around town and what we should choose. I was not disappointed in this place at all as there was about four or five people that are so backed up the recommendation on this place. We had the round eye pho (number 2) and the shrimp curry (S1) which was on a whole other level of good! That curry is mixed with heaven and bikini models all into one! . Very disappointed!! Waited literally 32 minutes for the food to arrive. (3 bowls of pho and one order of fried egg rolls. I asked for some cilantro, guess what, they don't have any. Not tables came with soy sauce, vinegar or siracha. I had to go get them myself from the counter. The girl who waited on us acted like she did not want to be there. I'm surprised that this place doesn't have more stars attached to it... I ordered two Vietnamese egg-rolls, and the vermicelli salad with pork. The egg-rolls were really nicely done -- crisp on the outside without being burnt (as I've experienced elsewhere), and having the perfect mix of ingredients inside. The accompanying sauce was typically simple, but complemented the egg-rolls and added to their overall taste. Yum! The salad was delicious. The pork on top had been seared with a some really good sauce or marinade, and was good enough to eat on its own, but was the perfect taste for pairing with the other ingredients. This salad was not too heavy in the vermicelli, as other restaurants tend to do (then you wind up with a bunch of vermicelli at the end and nothing else). Under the vermicelli was good portions of bean sprouts, cucumber slices, and lettuce, as well as a pinch of ground peanuts, and a portion of shredded carrots. Again, the sauce that came with it put it all over the top. Some versions of this salad (at other restaurants) also have mint in them, and if that's your gig then maybe ask for it, because I believe I saw mint as an ingredient on other menu items. Service was prompt, courteous, and attentive. Nothing lacking. Based on my meal, the rest of the menu is worth checking out -- and I would do that, if I lived in San Antonio! In any case, if you like Vietnamese vermicelli salads, give this place a try! read more

Came in for the first time today. And Jose is our waiter. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to stand there and answer all our questions about the food. We had A1 summer rolls first. Fresh tasty and the peanut sauce was to die for. Then we got the bowl of soup, when I say bowl I mean the size bowl that could feed a family of 4!! It's Vietnamese noodle soup with 4 types of beef. And then we got the specialty S6 which is a combo of beef, shrimp and chicken. With veggies over fried crispy needles! Get here early since this is the one that they run out of first!! And we tried their Boba drinks with Tapioca pearls in them. All in all everything was Perfect and I recommend it to everyone!! I will try and get more pictures if I can read more

I hope this review provides constructive feedback for management as I do wish to see this business succeed. Unfortunately there was a lot of waiting during our visit, ten minutes before receiving our menus, 35 minutes before receiving a Thai tea along with our pho. The broth itself was good, however, the beef was cut in such large chunks that we could not eat whole, and too tough that we could not chew through. I will also add that we were not provided any basil, sprouts, or jalapeños for our bowls. We also did not have access to any napkins. Unfortunately, all of these little pieces really did add up to just an overall sad experience. I got vermicelli and my girlfriend got the fried rice. My pork was cold and was not the normal pork you would get in a Vietnamese restaurant. Super disappointed, as I was having HUGE hopes that this would be my new local Pho spot close to home. But nope! #1. I asked for extra chicken for my daughter & I as soon as I received my bowl, because there were literally 3 slices in my bowl. I was more than half way finished & still hadn't received it. (Picture 2) #2. I can NEVER finish a bowl of Pho, and always have left overs! But I did this time & the amount of chicken and pasta they serve is just not enough, compared to the other local Pho diners around Culebra. I usually have plenty for both my 2 year old daughter & I. Wow. Its been a while since our last visit. Today was take out , wait was less than 10 minutes. Food was fresh and extremely delicious. Seems like the spring rolls were homemade. You could taste the fresh veggies in there. The chicken pho was spot on all the side portions were good and crisp.
