Pho Sure is a great Vietnamese restaurant with the best service and Family friendly environment. I started going in 2004 when they were in their old location. I love this restaurant a lot, I used to talk to the Grandpa way back in the day. He let me put some of my art up in his space next door long time ago. Today I went again and had some really good Grilled Chicken Lemongrass Vermicelli, I also had some Thai Tea which is so good and I wanted the Boba with it. They have so many kinds of foods of all kinds of tastiness, they are expert at Pho. I go here every season, crunch time is in the winter with Pho's but they are amazing year round with so much variety in the menu. I highly recommend them because they are the best. This Family business is beautiful, they take the time to care for customers, I am always greeted with smiles and courtesy. It has been over two decades of me loving this place. Take your friends! Take your Family! Take your Beloved! You will be pleasantly surprised :) read more

I have been coming to Pho Sure for a couple of years now. I have always had the best service. I always felt like management and staff were attentive. When I was pregnant, I would go there and dine alone to satisfy cravings and literally spoon up their chili paste. I order the same thing every single time. So I know exactly what it should taste like. This is my first time back there since their remodel. The remodel is beautiful. The staff was not impressive. They were unattentive. Dismissive, even. And the dish was... I don't know how to describe. There were obviously corners cut. I was frustrated because I had been specifically craving this. I had even bragged about it to my partner the day before and how I wanted to take him there to try it. I had probably three bites of it and then paid out and left, abandoning my food completely. In retrospect, they didn't even ask why I was closing out with an essentially untouched meal. I've never done anything like that before. I'm hoping I can return and have my favorite again but I'm not sure why the quality changed so drastically. There was zero flavor to the broth, which has always been so rich and aromatic. read more

I recently visited Pho Sure with my sister and nieces had a great experience overall. We ordered three bowls of pho (two were the kids meals priced at a very reasonable $7.99) , an adult combo as well, along with a chicken bánh mì. The appetizers on the menu were ok, but we decided to stick to our entree choices. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. The pho was flavorful and satisfying, especially for the price. One small downside, our kids' meals didn't come with basil or bean sprouts, which would have made them even better, but the taste of the Pho was delicious. The chicken bánh mì, though, was the star of the visit for me. It was incredibly flavorful and I took off the jalapeños due to my allergies and I don't like carrots, I honestly could have eaten three of them as the family helped destroy this one with succulent chicken and cucumber slices. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and conveniently located right off 1604, making it easy to get to. Overall, a really solid spot, and we'll definitely be back as the service was great! read more

I had the tofu spring rolls and the stir-fry lemongrass tofu. They were both flavorful and fresh! The service was okay... They did not have any music playing which would have been a nice treat touch. The best part of this experience was definitely the food! read more

Been going for quite sometime even the old one near San Antonio College. Last few times Sean has been dismissive, disengaged and seems like he's checked out. Food is good but the service has changed . I thought maybe he was moody, but the an old white couple came in and man he lit up brown nosing the white guy, but hey do as you see fit .... Should treat everyone and all the customers the same .... Foods has always been great but service and lack of emotion unless im rich white man .... Rude short and dismissive doesnt make me want to return read more

The rainy weather called for a pho brunch day! My husband is a pho snob and we're always on the hunt for new pho restaurants. Pho Sure was an overall good experience, but not our favorite. My husband and I mainly focus on the broth and oddly enough his common description is whether or not the broth is "clean". The crazy part is I completely understand what he means. There's a bold richness and a certain hue to a rich, "clean" broth. Additionally, for some reason this place only served cilantro, lemon, and sprouts as toppings. Most other places serve; lemon, sprouts, cilantro, mint leaves, and sliced jalapeños. Service was good. They only offer one size fyi. We enjoyed it nonetheless as well as the fried Vietnamese lettuce rolls. read more

Always consistent with their Pho. I like the beef combo which has different meats and I'm always left with some to take so l can have a snack later. It is a comfortable seating establishment that is simple with good food. They are speedy with their entrees and it is a family owned spot. If you are in the area looking for a great place stop by this restaurant. The service was also attentive and nice. read more

This is my absolute favorite place to get pho from. Their broth paired with hoisin sauce is soooo good and taste so warm and cozy, perfect to get with cold weather. This was my first time trying the crispy calamari and it did not disappoint. Usually calamari is served with marinara sauce but they served it with this sweet sauce that went perfect! The service was super quick and friendly! read more

Wasn't a huge fan of this spot. The meat in the pho was inconsistent and the broth felt not as clean as a lot of spots. The Vietnamese spring rolls were just ok as well. The service was cool the man working seemed friendly but I didn't enjoy the pho. read more

Food, Service & Prices are all good for the quality & family atmosphere . Family owned & operated, very welcoming.

As a Vietnamese person who grew up eating pho, this was unfortunately the worst bowl I've ever had. I'm not talking about the service -- the staff was fine. This review is strictly about the food. The broth had no depth or traditional pho flavor. It tasted flat and lacked the rich, aromatic profile pho is known for. On top of that, the noodle portion was very small -- I could finish the entire serving in just a couple bites. For the price, the quantity and quality simply weren't there. Based on this experience, I can't recommend it. There are far better pho spots out there that offer authentic flavor and proper portions. Not sure how they are getting such high ratings. read more

Update: pls see the owner's 1st response (screenshot below) to my original review. His most combative reaction and short sightedness are almost comical coming from a business owners. His belligerent behavior is all we need to know about his character and integrity of his establishment. Original review- No bean spouts, no basils. Only 2 slices of jalapeños and a slice of lime. I ordered pho with rare steak slices but it looked like some weird shredded shriveled up beef. Soup was salty. They should've mentioned that they were out of those veggies before I ordered. I've been to countless pho restaurants throughout California and San Antonio. THIS. Is. Not. Good! NEVER AGAIN. read more

I placed an order and they never advised they did not serve lemon chicken so here it is at my lunch I'm waiting on my food and I called to see where my order was and the guy on the phone said we don't sell that anymore and I wrote you. Where did you write me if the order was online and did not say they were refunding my money and said don't call back. LOL $30 for one meal I did not get, I want my money back Edit : I didn't use any language until you were RUDE TO ME. Either way you suck & I was not informed it was a third party or did NOT state on your website it was third party . So try AGAIN read more

Overall pretty good. The service was excellent. We were seated quickly and the food came out quickly. The owner himself came over and chatted with us. He was very friendly. The prices were good as well. The space was clean and cozy. I had the rare beef pho and it was good but fairly bland. No exceptional flavoring or seasonings that I could taste. I added some jalapeño and chili oil and was able to give it some decent flavor but otherwise nothing spectacular. read more

The good, the broth was tasty and hot. The bad, missing half of the normal ingredients . No thai basil, jalepeno, lime, or cilantro leaves. Two tiny packets of Sriracha and plum sause, no cups of each. Only a scant amount of onion and a few cilantro stems. It was a take out order. Don't think I'll be back. read more

Horrible service! We walked in & we had to seat ourselves because there was no sign saying "wait to be seated" there was literally one man working, it took about 7 minutes just to get a menu... 2 more couples walked in after us, who got asked what they wanted to drink while my family and I are still sitting there with just menus... we got up and walked out! Horrible service, I've NEVER eaten here and won't return! TRASH & this is the owners response! As a "business owner" you need to serve your clients in the order they arrive.. not skip ppl & serve who you choose! Talk about RACIST! It doesn't matter what time of the day someone walks in, we all DESERVE to be treated the same! Get it right, I walked in at 3:30pm, it wasn't dinner time, & Im a business owner myself, I treat all MY clients the same, I suggest YOU GET OVER YOURSELF! read more

We had dined in a few years ago and had great service. However My fiance and I ordered for pickup today and we were let down. I ordered the glazed teriyaki chicken with fried rice. Both the chicken and fried rice had no flavor. And I felt like the portion of the chicken was so small. 95%rice and 5% THIN chicken. It was not as pictured as I saw online. My fiance ordered pho and overall portion of noodles and protein amount was heavily lacking. We do not eat a lot, so that's saying something. The pot stickers were okay but nothing special. Very disappointed. read more

We appreciate the hospitality shown to us as it was our first time here. And he told us about his weekend specials. He took the time to tell us about the specialty foods. I loved the glazed beef and steamed rice and it was so filling and good. Please come to this gem of a place and try their staple: lemongrass chicken. The ambiance is intimate and clean. I ordered the Pho Xal Lon - beef slices sate and it was very flavorful and delicious! Included on the side, in addition to bean sprouts, cilantro, and basil, were fresh jalapeños. My family requested pho for dinner, so it was perfect because it was such a cold evening. Upon arriving there were about 4 tables filled with other people dining in, and one waitress. She was really nice and welcoming. We ordered some appetizers: fried tofu (ehhh...it was okay), fried rolls (delicious), and the crab rangoon. We were pretty disappointed with the crab rangoon because it barely had any filling in it -- all wrapper and maybe a tsp of filling. Not cool. Don't be stingy with it... fill that bad up, and the sauce for it was different from what we're used too, so we didn't care for it. My husband and our kids ordered pho, and they didn't care to much for it -- I decided to taste the broth and it was bland -- the cinnamon was just way too over powering the broth. As for my meal, I ordered the "chef's special" grilled pork lemongrass -- which was pretty good. read more

Even though they asked me for my drink three times, I never received it. They only brought me water, and they also brought the wrong pho. No one checked on our table during the meal, and the overall service felt a bit rushed or like they were having a frustrating day. Their Pho was good.. it wasn't the best I had but I could definitely go for it again. It fulfills the craving.. my foodie companion order the teriyaki chicken and he wasn't too impressed, it did look good but unfortunately I didn't get to try. But let me tell you about their porkchop! I will gladly go back for the porkchop. It was the perfect combination of seasonings and the egg was definitely the needed touch for the rice. What made it fantastic was the owner providing different sauces and explaining how to use them in order for all the flavors to compliment each other. It really made for a good experience! Will definitely be back for more. read more

Place is awesome, we were greeted as we walked in. The ambience is causal and decor is lovely. I like the plants they have by the entrance. It's all good to me. Even though I came here and got the exact same thing twice in a row it did not miss. The broth is delicate and yummy, I've had different phos and this one hits the spot. I get the pho with everything and it doesn't disappoint. It had more than enough meats and the texture are great Along with the fixings and condiments like Hoisen sauce, sriracha, fish sauce and hot oil ooooooooh this all hits the spot Owner remembered his customer and we felt welcomed enough that I will be coming back, I need to try the dishes, sorry I've been a little under the weather so this phos been picking me up for now. But I'm dying to try their lemongrass dishes I read they're great. Yes sir ty for responding here we will be back Also I absolutely love that the owner has his family helping out here. Beautiful!!!
