Spring Rolls
Leon W.

Uuum, uuum good! My daughter and I dined at Mr. Teriyaki this evening and the food was wonderful and yummy. You could see the chef's cooking the food orders, the restaurant was nice, clean (except I had to clean off our table) and organized. I ordered Chicken Lo Mein and Spring Rolls and a Big Red soda. My daughter ordered a Beef and Shrimp Bento Box, Lemon aid and Crab Rangoons. The servings were humongous, too much food to eat so we took the remainder home. RECOMMEDATION:, Dine-in, you will truly be satisfied!

My wife wanted noodles and we found this on Yelp! You get a lot of food for one plate - at least you get your money's worth. The rice was a hit. Not so much on the noodles. We all agreed - being from Cali- noodles in Lo Mein or Chow Mein should be thinner. But all in all, it was a fine experience. We got a strawberry boba as well. They have sauces out and it's complimentary. You don't have to wait long for your order. Price isn't bad and you get a lot of food. Lots for parking since it's a strip mall. Strip mall looks pretty new - unsure since we are new to SA.

Newly back living in SA - wanted some teriyaki chicken and Yelp lead me here! Looked like a new strip mall- great choices of food in this strip. Got two plates and a strawberry boba. Beef Chow Mein - it was ok. Nothing memorable to be honest. Noodles thicker than expected. Never had that thick for chow mien before - from Cali originally. The rice was good. Got the teriyaki chicken fried rice. Portion was good with the price. Strawberry milk boba a little high on price. It tasted fine. If we come back it will be for the rice. The family didn't care for the noodles- we all felt it wasn't memorable enough. PS- extra half star for giving a military discount. THANK YOU!

Salmon plate with fried rice

I ordered chicken teriyaki plate, beef teriyaki plate, salmon plate, and shrimp tempura roll. Chickens teriyaki plate is nice and clean. Beef teriyaki plate is good. Salmon plate is nicely grilled seared. The white rice is fresh fluffy and filling. Fried rice is a little too salty... wasn't my favorite thing there. The shrimp tempura roll is delicious and nicely packed doesn't fall apart. Veggies are crunchy and clean. The sweet tea is good tastes very concentrated tea leaves if it's fresh I loved it. The service is decent they play Drake music and it's ehh lol maybe some variety of music options would be cooler. Overall great place just the fried rice was salty and the flavor wasn't good.

Mr. Teriyaki offers delicious chicken and shrimp teriyaki, along with savory beef teriyaki and a tasty shrimp bento, and other delicious dishes. Their taro smoothie with boba is a must-try as well, and their mango fresh fruit jasmine tea is also delicious-- very refreshing. The standout feature is the excellent customer service, making every visit enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This location was formerly a Mongolian grill restaurant. Mr. Teriyaki now occupies the space, and it has been completely remodeled. If you're familiar with Waba Grill in Southern California, you'll find similarities here. The teriyaki grill offers a standard selection of proteins, including shrimp. Prices are consistent across the menu, and portion sizes are generous, often resulting in leftovers. The entrees are delicious and served hot. You may leave your utensils on the table or dispose of them yourself. The customer service and overall service are excellent. This was our second visit for this review as we had to come by again. Definitely one on our list to drop by frequently.

We ordered a bento box, I like the variety and still received good portion sizes. Lots of seating inside and also a convenient sink in the restaurant for hand washing. Overall the food was good, service was good, facility was clean.

Now this is what I call VALUE! After some creative discounts, this was the best we have ordered from door dash. The best part, it was freaking delicious! The only thing we sort of liked, was the wings. Other than that...amazing food for the price! Is it the best we've ever had, no. Remember....value,taste,service. I can't say much about service, I mean it did come fast though! The rice freaks of course ordered chicken fried rice. They said it was delicious and that was enough for me! The spring rolls and egg rolls were above average. The adults had chicken and beef teriyaki and combination lomain. Yes that is how it's spelled on door dash. They were both some of the better versions of those dishes we've had. Everything was cooked or spiced just right! We are definitely ordering again when we're in the mood for it. I don't even know what the sauces were that were included, but man they were all great!

While we were waiting for our take out food, we've ordered a chicken teriyaki . There is something some flavor on it . I think they have to add little bit of teriyaki sauce on the food. I have eaten teriyaki in other restaurants and I think that's what's missing. . Service is good and well organized. Place is spacious.

The aesthetic of the place is very open and inviting. It was clean and there was plenty of seating options. The staff was also very nice and helpful with questions I had being a first time customer. The food was all very flavorful and fresh. Would definitely be coming back!

They were quick. Food was delicious. If you are a food critic, you would notice uneven pieces of cut meat.

A very interesting experience. We visited restaurant twice…read morefor dinner, on Sunday and on Tuesday. After Sunday visit, I was ready to say that the experience was 7out of 5. After Tuesday visit, the rating remains on 5, but only because we had an amazing time on Sunday. Maybe on Tuesday there was a different chef, but food just didn't taste the same, and a few Sunday dishes we asked for on Tuesday (standard menu) were sold out. Both times I had rice lager specially brewed for the restaurant, and it was delicious. An absolute highlight on Sunday was the dish called Hand of God - the smoky wagyu on top of the rice cake was just an absolute perfection, not anything I had before (this dish was not available on Tuesday). We also had similarly smoky vegetable roll which was also experience in itself. This was my first time at the sushi restaurant where waiter suggested that the nigiri pieces are perfectly ready to eat, require no extra soy sauce or wasabi, and should be picked up by hand instead of chopsticks - another wonderful experience. I also had few different nigiri piece, two different types of mackerel and uni - an absolute wow (on Sunday). Service was good both days, but still a little bit better on Sunday (better recommendations). Definitely recommended.

They have a garage attached and you can get it validated with the staff but it's kind of a complicated process for the amount of people coming per night for the restaurant. I would highly recommend making a reservation because every single table had a reserve sign on it. I got to try the gyozas, hamachi, shrimp tempura roll (not on happy hour menu), and various other rolls off the happy hour menu. My favorite was the gyozas and the hamachi. The gyozas had a nice sauce and it wasn't overly sweet. The hamachi tasted fresh and had good flavors. The rolls were not my favorite because they were very wet and not a lot of actual fish. My friend tried the fried fish dish and didn't enjoy it and he never complains about food. Service was odd too; they tried to act as if it was a bougie restaurant but the service didn't quite measure up. I felt a little rushed and our server wasn't really friendly. Interior is nice though.

They change up the vinyls a couple times when we dined but they usually play the whole album. The food is more elevated than expected. The lobster was interesting because it came with this potato soup mash we never had before but it was pretty tasty. Lobster tail was cooked well but it was around $30+ and wasn't satisfying for a main entree. The Wagyu skewer was okay. We expected a fattier cut of meat but it tasted like normal steak to me. The sashimi bowl was good! Every piece of fish was fresh and unique. I really enjoyed it and it was a good portion size for a main entree compared to the lobster. The calamari is definitely a must try! We loved it and probably the best calamari we've had. Overall, we enjoyed the ambiance and service was great. But the menu is definitely a lot more elevated and for people with more "exquisite" tastes.

We didn't realize this place was a cousin of Shiro and owned by the same guy until we saw some similarities in their style, layout and menu but nevertheless, the food was still absolutely amazing. Even though the ambiance had some similarities, I'm glad their food options were distinguished because otherwise could have just gone downtown. You cannot go wrong with any of their food options. Highly recommend doing family style so you can get a taste of everything and all the different flavors. We started with the gyoza and calamari which were to die for and were not greasy at all. Pork ssam, wagyu, miso pasta and octopus all brought a little bit of their own element and flare to your palate that it's hard to describe unless you try it. Wagyu was just melt in your mouth delicious. Pork ssam and octopus had their crunchy texture and umami flavors. The miso pasta added a light refreshing touch to balance everything out but don't let it fool ya, the noodles will expand in your stomach. We topped it off with their yuzu cake. Our only disappointment was they were out of their other desserts but nevertheless everyone of us left full and happy. Would come here again.

But hey, this is what the birthday girl wanted, so this is what she got. We came here after a full day at Six Flags, starving, and hunger definitely made for the best sauce. One thing we have to say about Wild Goji that is A+++: they have Hitachino yuzu ON DRAFT!! Hitachino is one of our favorite breweries, and we had tried this version when we are in Japan, and could not believe our luck finding it here! It's worth the price of admission alone. As for the food, well, it is what it is. Honestly, it's not terrible, but you can tell you're not getting the creme de la creme (unsurprisingly). We mostly stuck to tuna and salmon, but we did appreciate their spicy garlic edamame (not spicy at all) and their spicy seaweed salad (slightly spicy). We ordered tempura that we had to send back because the sweet potato wasn't fully cooked. Some of the dishes on the conveyer belt definitely looked unappetizing (like the omelet roll) and since we were towards the middle-end of the restaurant, we had to wait a while for food to come our way. Service is minimal, but the atmosphere is boisterous because these kinds of places are fun. We were smart to make a quick reservation on our way from Six Flags because the place was slammed by the time that we left. Three stars, but it'll remain a fond memory celebrating our daughter's 9th birthday.

We were so excited to have this location open up here in San Antonio, but quickly disappointed by the lack of quality overall. First off, the killer beef rib ramen tastes so watered down. TRUST ME. I've eaten so many bowls. I've tried the San Antonio location 4 times and it's let me down each time. The fish also tastes-- overwhelmingly fishy. I love fish, but it just doesn't taste like good quality. The last straw was when my daughter ordered her fried imitation crab sticks. She swallowed something rough but continued to bite through. After the second bite she pulled an ENTIRE PIECE OF DEEP FRIED PLASTIC out from underneath the panko bread crumbs. The waitress was apologetic and took it back. The remade 3 sticks out of the 5 even though the 2 other sticks were left on plates uneaten. We honestly didn't want them after that. I wish they would have just taken them and deducted it from the bill. That's my fault for not advocating for myself, but I was just in shock and pissed that my daughter ate a piece of plastic. They did give us a little plate of freezer burnt chocolate ice cream. Freezer burnt, but free. It's no wonder that this place is ALWAYS empty every time we visit here. Tbh we'll be driving the hour to the Austin location if we ever crave Blufin again.
