First time checking out this spot. I love boba drinks and have tried many many places around town so I decided to give this one a go. I ordered a taro with soy plus tapioca. The ice wasnt all the way crushed and had big chunks and it tasted like they made my drink with water and not soy milk. The flavor was lacking and the tapioca pearls were way overcooked. The price for a medium was around $7. The service was friendly. I was at the drive through so I cannot speak to the ambiance. I most likely will not return. read more

Honestly, I love anything bubble tea, it so good! Love coming here for a quick pick me up with an overall simple menu to choose from. That aside, I love the ice they use in their drinks, good crunch but light and soft. (Ice lovers know what I mean). I've driven by this place so many times, and I finally went inside when my SIL was in town because she likes to get boba. I ordered the taro flavored milk tea with mango popping boba. The flavor of the taro tea was great and I actually liked the popping boba! The two employees were helpful and polite. The shop itself is really cute and very clean. This establishment is a little small, however, it works out fine for me since I'd just go through the drive-thru. You can always count on fresh Boba here! This is the best boba place in all of San Antonio well along with their other place on 1604 and Culebra! If you are looking for some delish boba go no further than Gong cha! I lived here and this was the best boba. I have lived in California and traveled all over California and this place is still the most tasteful and flavorful boba I have tried. The service is always friendly and the establishment is always clean and welcoming! This Ambiance is just your small local boba place where you can hang out or simply pick up and enjoy on the road! Passed this location a number of times and finally decided to give them a try on the way back to the hotel. We chose this one over Ding Tea. Not sure why - maybe because it's a little more secluded and we wanted to support them? No worries. They had one table and 3 cars in the drive through while I was there. Yes. A drive through! I think I only saw ONE boba shop in Houston with a drive through so that's a nice touch. Due to the cars, my drinks did take a little longer to come out, but nothing crazy. I got our staples because they were out of their seasonal flavor (something about gingerbread - I'm a sucker for trying seasonal flavors) - Oolong Milk Tea with Crystal boba (less ice) - a great drink to fall back on and I love the chew of those Konjac pearls and the fact that they contain a fraction of the calories that you get with your standard tapioca pearls. The thing was it's sweeter than I expected. Earl Grey Milk Tea with the 3 J's (less ice) - my favorite that has your fragrant earl grey combined with fun things to chew on/slurp up. I forgot what's exactly in there but there is definitely boba and herbal jelly.. and egg pudding? The sweetness on this was perfect despite not adjusting sugar levels. A nice clean place. Fairly quiet with 2 people working the closing shift on New Year's Day who were nice and helpful despite having a number of orders at the same time. Mostly reliable drinks (still don't know why my OOLONG MT was sweeter than the Earl Grey). A solid place to get your boba in SA! read more

YAY so if you don't have time to go inside you can just get quick service right on the side. The people are very friendly and helpful because I had no idea what to get. Would not recommend this location. I will start by saying the cashier was very nice so my issue wasn't necessarily with customer service. It was everything else that was wrong. First, I ordered three drinks- one of them was a Strawberry Milk Slush and asked for no toppings (This one was for a young child so I didn't want boba in it) They still included boba in this drink and this drink was the worst one- It was ready within MINUTES couldn't have been more than 3 minutes so to me it seemed like it had been sitting there possibly from a previous order. The order was wrong and the texture was horrible as if it had already settled. The second drink I ordered was a Matcha Strawberry Milk which had a very bitter taste to it, I couldn't drink more than two sips of it. I can't say all locations are like this but I definitely wouldn't recommend this one. read more

I was excited to see we had a Gong Cha here as I had tried this place in Houston, sadly Houston's location was better. The location here doesn't offer a variety of dairy free add in's for the tea, and being a drink company I would think they should. They only had almond milk and whole milk when we visited. The one in Houston was better prepared as they had oat milk non-dairy creamer, heavy cream, lactose free milk, coconut, so plenty of options. I usually go with oat milk personally not a fan of almond milk, but I did try. I'll stick to my normal places till I go back to Houston. I hope they increase the kind of dairy and non-dairy to blend with the teas. The ambiance was cute. Service was okay, they did not seem very familiar with the menu. read more

Came in and the guy working there had an attitude like we were bothering him. Waited 20 mins for my order which I thought was fine since he was tending to drive thru orders as well. Remember you can modify the amount of sugar you want in your drink, sometimes places tend to have a heavy hand on the sugar. I like this place for quick, reasonably priced, tasty boba drinks. I love that they ask the level of sweetness you want in your drinks instead of automatically mixing it or having a set recipe and the menu clearly shows which drinks have caffeine and which don't. Went with my daughters to get their Boba tea and they were not disappointed. The small place is in a niche corner with quick access to HWY 151 and 410. Place looks clean and staff professional and friendly. They said the drinks had a fresh flavor with esthetic and beautiful containers. We've been here several times before and I thought perhaps it was just an isolated incident. I let my emotions die down too that's why I waited this long. Just bought four drinks from our regular neighborhood Tealicious on Potranco near 1604 and just can't help finally posting this objective review. Back to the Tealicious by HEB Bandera experience, they are totally consistent...consistently providing a horrible customer service experience. The young lady in the cash register was simply impersonal, dull, and snobbish. Again, we thought this was isolated but on all those several instances we visited this location, we have exactly the same sub par customer service experience. This afternoon visit at Tealicious on Potranco, I asked the young lady if the owners are the same on both locations, she verified it not the same. The staff at the Bandera location needs to learn from these excellent staff members at Potranco. No matter what time of day, or day of the week and no matter who's tending the store, the customer service at Tealicious Potranco is consistently stellar. My experience this afternoon at Tealicious Potranco made me finally decide to post my unacceptable customer service experience at Tealicious Badera. Never ever again visiting Tealicious at Badera, we'll always be loyal to our neighborhood Tealicious at Potranco! The best in customer service, consistent at all times!

I went with a vanilla milk tea with strawberry popping boba and it was pretty good but not quite the same. Not sure if they had strawberries syrup to add to the sides of the cup but that would have made a big difference. I would still recommend you give it a try.
