Been a go to for so long - decided to share this gem! This place is unmatched in the Central Valley area IMO. My go to is a small P7 (a.k.a. Chicken Noodle Soup) or the P10, a noodle stir fry with a choice of your protein! I go with chicken and I always ask for peanut sauce on the side. As for the soup, they vary in size from S, M, to L, I stick with a small unless I'm starved - and always leave full and happy. I have eaten here before and the food is very good. However, tonight I tried to call to place a to go order and an automated voice told me to order online and then hung up on me. Almost immediately I received a text saying to place the order on the website that was included in the text. I went through the process to place the order even though I was irritated. On the payment screen, it suggested a 15% tip. I decided not to place the order, and I am unlikely to do so in the future. There's bad customer service, no customer service and then this. Previously great food and great service. Now the food is just a hair above average. (A real hair would've shot the score in the opposite direction for sure.) We still enjoy the food, but at a cost... and not just to our wallet. The amount or quality or some odd combination of the two now hurts our tummy. Especially my 9 year old. He had asked for this joint as a reward after a wonderful fall soccer. Not ice cream, Pho Le as he calls it. And his tummy churned and irritated him the rest of the night. She checks us out, and neglected to add my drink then comes back 10 min later and says I forgot to charge you for the drink. I had a desire for some Pho. So I started combing the local Pho establishments menu's. The reviews and menu of Pho Le 777 stood out. I went in with the expectation I was going to receive subpar service because of a female employee. My first impression from this hurt employee was mediocre self service, she told me to seat myself no menu was giving. I had to retrieve one myself. The restaurant was pretty empty. Three patrons was having lunch from Wasabi on Fire. (They look like cooks) Which was a good sign! Since they are there as a food choice! I seen a sign that they are in need of help, so staffing was an issue. I was patient. Then a elderly man came to my assistance. He explained they are short handed for the moment. And with a upbeat friendly demeanor, graciously took my order. I could only see one cook in the kitchen. I order a small Pho, and fried chicken wings, with deep fried egg rolls! Every dish was carefully prepared, very hot and fresh, plus had excellent presentation. I recommend this establishment even with the short handed staff, they provide a fine choice in menu items, and quality Pho. You won't be disappointed! read more

Its almost like a certain arrogance, they drop the food off at the table, you ask them a question and the expression of dissatisfaction of wasting there time with a simple question, "may I have.." is just disgusting. I love this place, I crave their food almost everyday. People have too thin of skin. Just because the servers don't sit there and stroke your ego doesn't mean it's the worst service ever. I would probably have a low social meter too if I had to deal with some of the entitled jerks who complain just to hear themselves talk. I love the pho, sandwiches, rice dishes, veggie rolls, and shrimp rolls. If you do order pho for takeout, make sure you bring the broth to a boil in a saucepan before you add in the meat and noodles. Great packaging for to-go orders, I never have a problem taking it home. Super stoked that they have outdoor seating now but I may wait until it's a little cooler outside for that. read more

I'm Vietnamese so I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about. For me, the pho here is not flavorful enough and seems to be really plain. I often add spices to my pho because I have felt that they've given me just rice noodles, chicken broth, and a few slivers of beef. However I seem to understand why they have the plain approach because it seems that going super authentic would probably scare off those who are new to Vietnamese cuisine. An embarrassment to the Vietnamese culture. Small portions and pricey. The banh mi had very little filling and it was dry. Their fresh spring rolls only came with 2 skinny rolls cut in half to make 4 small pieces. Most other pho places serve 6pc orders. We also ordered the pork chops over rice and egg, the pork chop had the appearance of being boiled and the egg was over done. I asked the server and they told me "it's suppose to be like that". I'm sorry Pho Le 777, please go to the Bay Area or LA and try a "REAL" Vietnamese restaurant, your restaurant gives Vietnamese restaurants a bad reputation. My niece frequents this place because of its pho. We come from a big city where the best Pho's can be had but in Fresno , this one makes up for the shortage. It's family oriented and no-non-sense kind of cooking. On a cold New Year's Day, we're just happy they were open today. I must admit that I usually go to a pho place further South in Fresno but since this is closer to me and it was later in the evening I decided to give this spot a try. I got a vermicelli bowl my husband got a combination plate and we ordered some eggrolls on the side. They were all really good I feel like my portions could have been a little bit more as far as giving me more chicken with my plate, but otherwise everything tasted really well.
