First time here and 10/10 We live at the Riverstone community and was on the search for a new food place and being that RICE BOWL was five minutes away we gave it a try. Environment/ Ambiance: This Chinese food restaurant is definitely a Mom and Pop vibe place, the inside definitely showed some age, but overall it is clean. We went when it first opened so we were the only customer there. Food: We ordered spicy crispy chicken (9/10) and orange chicken with bacon fried rice (8.5/10). Whenever I order spicy chicken at other restaurants, it is usually never spicy, but this place actually had a bit of kick. I would definitely order again. The pricing is very decent and you get a good amount of food. Service: The service was quick and Lilly was super friendly. We informed her it was our first time there and she was very patient and ask if we had any questions. Lilly even gave us FREE fried bananas (9/10) and a strawberry smoothie drink with crystal boba (7.5/10). This was extremely nice and welcoming of them, definitely showed they care about their customers. The fried bananas were crispy and sweet and it came as 6 pieces, I would for sure order these next time. I recommend this place especially if you live near by don't want to drive far into Fresno!! We were nearby and decided to give this place a try.. wouldn't come again. The food was terrible.. we ordered two teriyaki bowls and an orange chicken plate with bacon fried rice and fried noodles.. no flavoring, the noodles definitely had none-- they weren't lying, it was definitely fried but that seems about it.. hardly any bacon in the fried rice.. the orange chicken tasted like a day old batch but surely not fresh! Their prices on the menu isn't up to date and they won't disclose their new prices unless prompted . The food I had issues with were the noodles and orange chicken. I had orange chicken w/pan fried noodles. Noodles were rather bland so I put teriyaki sauce on them. My husband had spicy shrimp with fried rice. We also had 2 egg rolls and two smoothies with bubbles. Don't really recommend bubbles in smoothies. Bill was $44. Thought this was high for lunch prices. Staff person was super nice. Ordered takeout and it took the average 25 minutes. The food was very good, good portions. I ordered the bacon fried rice and the bacon was a lot too crispy for my liking but it was still good. The shrimp teriyaki was very good. I also ordered the Kung Pao Chicken with pan fried noodles were delicious and crispy. Overall very tasty and fast, friendly service. read more

Being a local resident, I wanted to give this place a try, so I ordered Mongolian beef combo and an order of beef steak bowl. When I came back to get the food, the lady at the register gave me one order in a bag, and I asked where my beef steak bowl was located, she found my receipt and noticed another patron who was sitting there eating my Mongolian beef combo thinking it was his Kung Pao Chicken which was in my hands as the lady swapped the two orders. That was fine until she took back the other patron's half eaten Mongolian beef and took it back into the kitchen and the cook soon in two minutes had magically cooked, what he claims is a new order of Mongolian beef, came out of the kitchen stating my order is completed. I was so disgusted that they had no shame in taking half eaten meal, God knows what they kept and took out and re-served the half eaten mess to me. I asked for a refund but the kitchen cook grabbed some sort of bag with food and said the old one is here and of course missing the beef steak bowl that was placed in, the new claimed completed order. I told them forget the refund, as I will never ever come back here ever again, and risk food poisoning or what the other patron may have. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! read more

Hole in the wall stop. If you blink while cruising past on 12 you'll miss it. The bacon fried rice is somewhat simple in comparison to others, but the flavor is out of the park. When I think fried rice now, this is what I taste. All around great food, hands down best fried rice. read more

Quick service and very friendly. The Egg Flower soup was very good. I requested grilled chicken instead fried and it was pretty good. I have tried their fried last time and to me it was a bit over cooked. They do have WiFi and Canada's Laughs and Gags was playing on the TV. So even though it's a small place I enjoy the atmosphere. And can't beat the price for the food you get. I like that there are dishes without noodles or rice and they do offer gluten free noodles if you require that type of diet. Decided to try the Rice Bowl out for dinner (Lee's kitchen) was closed today we noticed this little place across the street and agreed to give it a try- it's a small quaint little restaurant has a couple of booths and a table or two nothing fancy we placed our order which was bacon fried rice, pan fried noodles and orange chicken. For drinks we ordered Thai teas- The rice was decent I couldn't find the bacon it looked more like chunks of ham than bacon the pan fried noodles were good as was the orange chicken. Our son ordered a teriyaki bowl this was very tasty and definitely filling for him. The servings were decent and filling the prices are also pretty reasonable for three of us we spent $30 and that's including our drinks which were pretty tasty! In a nutshell we would come back and visit the rice bowl for lunch or dinner. The service was good and that is something important to us. read more

I stopped here on my way to work based on all the good reviews for this place...I'm sorry but I don't get it. I am giving two stars because the man working was really really nice but I can't help but feel like I threw away 10 bucks on this meal. I ordered the veggie tempura and a the chicken teriyaki bowl. Let me just say, when made correctly, tempura is one of my all time favorite things to eat...but if we are being totally honest, I ate two pieces and threw the rest away. It was soggy and had a really bizarre taste...just...not what I expect from good tempura. The rice bowl was...alright but the rice tasted old and the chicken wAs really dry. I didn't eat it...that's the only reason I am leaving this review...I just wasn't able to eat the food they gave me and that is...unacceptable read more

Customer service was really great! The lady was super nice and let me create a combo out of an a la cart menu. I also asked for a green tea which they were out of, but she gave me a free drink instead, which was just fine with me. I wasn't even upset they were out, it was just a popular drink and I was too late lol. Very accommodating! The food is great too! I love the food here as I come here almost every week. I get the chicken chow main and a different flavor smoothie. There are so many different flavors to choose from so I've been making my way down the list with a different one every visit. Vanilla and Mango have been my favorite so far.
