This food is tasty. Very nice sized dishes with plenty to share with others. Very flavorful and the service is good. I ordered the beef pho and it was just so good. There was plenty of broth and lots of meat. The egg was good too. We also got the garlic butter edamame which was out of this world yummy. The staff were fairly attentive and checked on us frequently. Definitely will return.

Wow Pho Laveen is easily one of the top pho spots in Arizona. This is up in my tier 1, and I'm just impressed by the pho. Got the extra large pho tai. Bowl was pretty large but it did come in at a whopping $5 more than the regular size so $18 instead of $13. But man, this pho is one of the best if not the best I've had in Phoenix. Broth is not oily look at the pictures - it's skimmed well. However, it's got great beef taste as well as the pho spice flavor. Really get that cinnamon, star anise, five spiceish flavor at the end of the broth. Noodles were great texture and the broth was hot. PLENTY of meat like really impressed with the serving size (I don't know what the regular looks like since I got extra large for my first time). Also great veggie portions, no skimping on basil or bean sprouts. Great pho spot that I wasn't expecting out in Laveen. Has everything I'm looking for in my bowl of pho. See that they have other stuff on the menu like ramen and other viet dishes that I am curious to try on my next trip.

I had to put it in my large mixing bowl to fit everything lol

This place never fails to be delicious. I have never tried anything else other than their beef brisket pho but I mean, it's hard to deter from perfection.

I decided to switch it up to come here for some orange chicken. My fiancé loves to come here for the Pho. From what I hear the Pho is amazing. The orange chicken flavor was yummy but I wish the texture of the chicken was less soggy. The employees have always been friendly and prompt with their estimate pick up times when we order over the phone. This will stay as our go to Pho spot.

I'm not a fan of pho, so I did not order it the first two times I went here. They have a great menu of items besides pho, so that's awesome. They serve ramen as well. The garlic hot chicken wings were great. Definitely crispy! The combination fried rice is always good and doesn't disappoint. The place is somewhat small, but the gets crowded at times - due to the food being GREAT. This place has a reputation of good food and that's 100% true. If you have not been here, give it a shot.

I visited Pho Laveen at about 7pm on a Tuesday night and this tiny place was packed. I ordered the pho combination and it was great. Plenty of meat was added. It didn't take long to get my food which was surprising considering the amount of people here at the time. The staff was friendly. I think my total came to 17$ and some change.

After our many regular visits since their opening in 2020, for me it's confirmed - Phở Laveen is excellent. Excellent flavors, fantastic service, clean location, comfortable setting, super-duper and most of all, their excellent savors and excellence are consistent! My Wife's fave Phở Tai is always great! My fave Phở Tai Nam is always terrific. Tender tasty meats, incredible broth, fabulously fresh vegetable accoutréments! Yes there are a lot of Pho Noodle joints in the Valley of the Sun. Very few (always considering Vietnamese Regional Phở styles) are so well done. Phở excellence is based on its broth. The right amount of beef bone in the boiling of the broth, the right amount of ginger and onions with not too, too much fish sauce - they have it down pat, almost to perfection. Oh, and by the way, they're monster delish and fresh shrimp rolls are to die for! We've enjoyed shrimp and pork, crispy and fresh. And, I cannot go without saying their Banh Mi Ga is to die for. Thats why we keep coming back and we highly recommend them to the neighborhood and the Valley. Their service has always been professional and their no-frills yet clean and comfortable location is conducive to eating in, you can also take home. Keep it up Guys!

This time I tried the Chicken Curry Soup and it was absolutely phenomenal! Rich and creamy with robust flavor, including tender chunks of quality chicken and had the perfect kick. Service here is always amazing. Looking forward to coming back for my next bowl of Chicken Curry Soup.

Do they have peanut sauce for the fresh rolls?

Yes.... although a little watery for my taste, it's still OK!

After reviewing the menu we decided on Lemongrass chicken with vegetables, beef with vegetables, beef vermicelli, and shrimp vermicelli. Service is always fast here. I ordered the lemongrass chicken. It is pretty spicy. The flavoring was really nice with a fish sauce in it. It was probably spicier than I wanted. Think I'll go back to my noodle order next time. It was good to try something different though. I would give my dish four stars. Otherwise everything else gets five stars. Free street parking outside.

The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. I really hope things improve, especially for long time customers who have supported this place for years Ambience The ambience was very cute and charming. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. There should be no excuse why service was so slow because there's two waitress and only one other table. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices.

But somehow I had saved this one to my map so I came here with a couple friends for dinner last week. I wasn't super hungry, so I just ordered spring rolls, crispy chicken dumplings and a "dragon egg" boba tea "smoothie." Though it was on their menu under "Smoothies" it was not a smoothie at all. It was an icee. That said, it was still delicious and I loved the fresh and fruity boba balls. The flavor was more lychee than strawberry, but I didn't mind. My friends got an appetizer plate and 5-spice chicken. Both enjoyed their food very much. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but does have sit-down service. Very chill vibes, and prices were fair. The place was clean, staff was attentive, and the peanut sauce that came with my spring rolls wasn't spicy, which I appreciated! So glad we tried this place out, and I would definitely like to come here again, especially when I have a bigger appetite!!

This place stays packed, which is always a good sign--and it definitely delivered. I went with the tofu veggie pho, while my husband ordered the beef special pho. Both were genuinely delicious. The broth had great flavor, everything tasted fresh, and it hit that perfect comforting-but-not-heavy balance. Service was quick and super friendly, even with how busy it was, which we appreciated. It's not quite a 5-star "blown away" experience, but it's a strong 4 stars and absolutely somewhere I'd come back to. We left completely full--but not that overly stuffed, regret-it-later kind of full. Just satisfied. If you're looking for a no-frills, reliable Vietnamese spot with great pho, this one's worth a visit.

The ambience is super comfortable, easy, casual. But, it's *super* loud, like really, really loud. The 4 of us had to literally scream, top of our lungs, to hear each other, and these aren't big tables, it's tight in there, so you're very close together. We left with sore throats from yelling. It felt like "a relief" when we stepped out front. After 2 hours sitting in the wooden seats, my butt was also relieved to be getting up. Parking is ridiculous, it's a very thin one way driveway with *no way to turn around* when you reach the end - back it up! Super tiny parking lot. Food: the food was very good. We ordered 6-8 things for the 4 of us because all items are pretty small. Top section of the menu are called smaller items. They were. Items on the bottom section are bigger, but not big. For perspective, when the 4 of us split an item from the bottom "entree section" we each got 2-3 bites/forks-full. So a full entree for one person is 8-12 bites. All items tasted very good, clearly high quality, well curated and definitely unique to this restaurant. The steamed white rice was hot, steamy, moist and sticky, really good. The Panang Chicken was really good, different, creamy, dark, rich and smokey. I added pictures of the menu, inside, patio, bar and a few food items so you can see for yourself. Would I go back? I would because the service was great, visual atmosphere was comfortable, and food was high quality, but turning the music volume down at least 1/2 way from what we had would go a long way,... a looooong way, seriously. Increasing the portion size of menu entrees would also be an improvement since they're about the same price as larger portions elsewhere. And throw some cushions on those inside wooden benches, our butts will thank you. Overall this was a good first visit and I'd try Glai Baan again, hoping for the same great service, quality food and updates to the other items.

In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised by their growing menu and their willingness to better themselves by listening to Yelp feedback. You can really feel the spirit of home-cooking and the cozy atmosphere of a locally owned restaurant here. In the best way possible, service hasn't changed - it's still the same friendly owner greeting you with a smile and overall cheerful attitude. You can tell that they are actively growing as a restaurant and I can't help but want to cheer them on! Today, I had their banh mi pho with a side of Chinese donuts to dip into the pho broth. Absolutely delicious and great concept. My constructive feedback is if they can dial in their pho broth (which I already enjoy) to have more in-depth bone broth/spice flavor and less reliance on maybe the salty aspect. I really wanted to like this spot, especially as a fan of a well-balanced bánh mì. The sandwich was generous and good value, loaded with meat, but the execution didn't quite come together. The vegetables were tucked toward the back of the bun, making it hard to enjoy that classic balance in each bite. The mayo was far too heavy and the meat leaned overly sweet, which threw off the overall flavor. It also could have used more jalapeños and cilantro to bring some freshness and contrast. The bread was crispy, which was nice, but it was much larger in size and shape than a traditional baguette, leaning more toward a big roll than that light, airy texture you'd expect. Overall, good value but missed the mark on balance and authenticity for me. Saluti.
