the food was really great, Pho was really light but it's really fulfilling. Bahn Mi was really flavorful, Ice coffee was too strong for me (it's like Cold Brew or straight espresso shot). My mom recommended this place and I'm glad she did. The price was affordable compared to other Vietnamese places these days. Most dishes were around $10. Almost everything we tried was very flavorful and decent portions. The only thing we didn't like was the spring rolls had very little meat and the Vietnamese coffee was too light. Ok since my last review a few months ago... we went back several times. It just wasnt as good as first time, pho broth is just ok, banh mi excellent, but spring rolls have way to much mint. And each time the 2 of us would come in and each order same thing. However each time they would only bring out 1 order. Even when we would mention we want 2 order of soup 2 of spring rolls etc... Just too annoying to place an order (especially to go) wait for them to prepare it only to have them only bring half. Then you have to wait for them to finish preparing all the people food that are now ahead of yours in the kitchen. So that they can prepare the rest of your order. Try pho thuan instead. My favorite Pho place on 43rd was closed so in a pitch I found this place nearby somewhat. Wasn't expecting much but at least they have plenty of tables and no waiting. Only one guy working but service was super fast. I ordered the pho meat combo with extra noodles and ordered fried rice to go. The food is excellent. I went to pick up takeout and was greeted with suspicious glances from the counter woman who came outside that I wasn't misusing her parking spot. On realizing I was here for an order from her restaurant, she accepted my parking transgression. They left my wife's pho off the order, so I pointed to the pho on the menu she wanted. They put together the soup, charged me for it, and tried to send me on my way with just the soup. It took me some convincing, but they sold me the rest of my order. The place was a dive and a little girl playing on a tablet was the only non worker there. The previous restaurant before, Hoang Duc, was very bad and my mother said previous pho smelled like urine. Anyway, the new establishment has very deliciously food. Their pho soup tastes fine. Don't let the facade and interior of the restaurant discourage you. The food was terrific. The owners and staff were friendly and loved to have a conversation. We never noticed this place until this week and decided to give it a try. We also noticed that they have unique dishes that aren't offered at other Vietnamese restaurants in Phoenix such as Mi quang, com ga roti, bun mang vit, salt pepper shrimp, all of our favorites!! We ordered all of the above plus Pho because that is one of my marks to determine if it's a good Vietnamese restaurant. Everything was very good. Pho is flavorful and rich. I would say this is much better than Pho Thanh. We go to Pho Thanh on the regular but I think this will be replacing that! Service was also very friendly. I came here because my favorite pho place Tahn was closed. But the service is so much friendlier and the Noodles are excellent. The meatballs have so much more flavor and the broth is very good. Plus they put pickled onions in the nut sauce for the spring rolls definitely check it out! read more

This is a hole in the wall, mom & pop shop with some pretty great food. Normally my family comes here for breakfast once a week and each time, they did not disappoint. I especially love their Banh Xeo! However, the service here is horrible... they only have one server here and the restaurant can fill up pretty quickly. Definitely a different experience from when we dined while it was Pho Hoang Duc. This place is newly renovated and under new management. SUPER CLEAN and spacious. I believe the same people who previously owned Thao's Sandwiches on 27th Ave & Bethany Home are now the owners of this place, bc they do have the same workers and great menu. We love eating the red fried rice and chicken (#63)! So glad they reopened shop and we were able to find them again. read more

This place was great. Our usual pho spot was closed so we gave it a try. The price was right and the food tasted good, similar to other Vietnamese food we've enjoyed. The only downsides were that we waited a while for water refills, despite being the only people in the restaurant, and the floors were quite sticky. All else seemed clean. This place has unique vietnamese food that you can't get at other vietnamese restaurants in the area. The Mi Quang, duck salad, and Bun rieu here is pretty good. But I think the best dish they serve that is without a doubt the best version of the dish I ever had in Arizona is their red rice crispy cornish hen (#46). You commonly see this as "com ga roti" in almost all vietnamese restaurants. But this is the absolute best in Arizona. The only reason I ordered this is because I noticed other people kept ordering this dish. I gave it a try and I had it at least three more times since. The chicken is incredibly crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. The fried red rice is delicious. The sauce on the side they give you gives the chicken a nice salty touch for flavor . They even give you a small bowl of soup to cleanse your palate! All for less than 9 dollars. What a steal! If this is your first time here I reccomend the #46. read more
