Amazing value. Great taste. The fried items were crispy and screaming hot so fresh. The protein portion to the entree was an amazing deal. Only complaint is that the amount of rice relative to the entree was a little lacking haha. But amazing value amazing flavor and great staff and service. Can't wait to come back again. I got the general Tao's chicken with the combo so fried rice soup crab wanting and egg roll for 2$ up charge. Such a great deal. Please give me more rice even if it is white with this meal

I ordered it through Uber eats it was so disappointed. The food wasn't packed well so the chicken spilled out. A specifically mention which soup I wanted and they gave me some egg soup that was super thick and un appealing. I also specifically stated that I only wanted the soup and egg roll because I am allergic to all seafood. They put crab cakes in both dishes. So I was really afraid to taste both dishes due to cross contamination. Both dishes were supposed to be medium hot. They absolutely had no taste to them nor did they have any spice over $40 wasted zero out of 10 do not recommend

Mapo tofu combo

Looking for Asian food on the mainland is a bit hard when you're in the middle of Arizona. But I came across this place on Yelp and thought I'd give it a shot. First green flag, they serve real sriracha! First red flag, we were never given chopsticks. I ordered the Mapo Tofu combo (came with "fried rice", spring roll, soup, and crab rangoons). It was a deal cause the combo only added an extra $1.75. But honestly I didn't feel like it was a win cause the fried rice was rice with soy sauce, the crab rangoons were sweet and not great. The spring roll was the best thing on the plate. The egg drop soup was amazing and the highlight of my meal. The Mapo Tofu had a slight spice, deliciously soft tofu, and was a huge amount. There was no ground pork or any other substances. I was surprised I just got tofu. But at least it tasted good. Would I go here again? The service was suuuuuuper nice. If I was desperate for Chinese food, maybe. But I'm more keen on cooking at home myself.

My first time ordering from Hong Kong kitchen. We ordered the wonton soup, orange chicken, Singapore noodles, cashew chicken, and pork, fried rice. The food was delicious . We also got free donuts and they were so good. My kids pretty much ate them all. The two ladies working there were so nice and welcoming. Great customer service. We will be going back again.

I love the shrimp!

When you are craving sweet, fried Chinese-American bites this place will hit the spot 100%. You know, like when it's a cold day outside and you're too lazy to cook? That's where HK Kitchen comes through. What I loved: The sweet and sour shrimp, they are huge and generous with the egg batter, which in this case I actually enjoy. They are such a great finger food. What I liked: Crab puffs that actually taste crabby, General Tso's Chicken that is on the sweet side but still all syrupy and crispy. This is comfort food to me, and I can see myself dropping by or getting it delivered many more times.

Note: currently appears to be closed for remodeling, cannot confirm…read more I have visited Wong's on multiple occasions. During prime time hours and slower hours. Never disappointed! Their food is consistently the same no matter how busy it is, most recently during a heavy dinner hour - prime time. Yes, expect to wait, we started the 30 plus wait time out side and then inside in the small waiting area. It's not fancy by any means. TVs with a game on, servers moving about, and a steady stream of to go orders. We had King Pao Chicken, Beef with broccoli and Mongolian Beef. Also Wongs fried rice & appetizer plate and soups. I had hot & sour soup, absolutely delicious, a little spicy as it should be. My Mongolian Beef was probably the best prepared, very tender beef and flavorful I've had, and always consistently the same each visit. The other entrees severed were equally flavorful, tender meats and served fresh & hot. Servers are kind and knowledgeable of each dish and offer suggestions of their favorites. The seating area is in need of updating but very clean, as are the restrooms. But it's about the quality, quantity & consistency that keeps me returning. Just go!

Loved the crispiness of a nicely fried wing. Large Hot & Sour Soup - Great consistency but it had a weird underlying sweetness I didn't enjoy. The restaurant across the street on the Fry's plaza used to have the best hot and sour soup until they changed owners so it was going to be hard for them to beat regardless. Orange Chicken - I don't think any of us expected it to come out this way so it was a surprise. Was a pleasant surprise? Ehh. It's probably my least favorite orange Chicken in the valley. Honey Walnut Shrimp - Standard, classic, and perfect. They do it as well as any other place around. Beef Chow Fun - Another great standard and one that had no

Home is wherever @lizmodernasian is!…read more Thank you Liz & Howard for your unmatched hospitality, unreal flavors, and Michelin-level quality every time. We came hungry and started with steaming edamame, dumplings, and tempura shrimp (the holy trinity) The cashew chicken & veggies is my go-to lighter option - but this visit, the steamed bao buns stole the show - melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Liz even brought out seaweed so we could roll our own sushi - something I wouldn't have thought to order...now I'm fully obsessed! The dish that officially tops my list though: Liz's Lo Mein Noodles combo with chicken, pork, & beef. I've never tasted anything like it - dangerously addictive. 10/10 experience. Always. And strolling around the beautiful @scottsdalequarter afterward is the perfect way to end the evening. Counting down til my next visit!

So far, this is the oddest place I have been to. There is a…read moresmall child watching YouTube video game tutorials . A gentleman that seems overly preoccupied with putting food items in a delivery bag. Every table has a reserved sign on it, so where would you like us to sit? It seems very unorganized. I would expect to see this type of restraunt in a suburban strip mall, rather than a higher scale shopping mall. Took easily 10 min to get our drinks to us. Twice we were offered other people's food, so there is a need to update POS systems or front of house management. The cheese puffs are very good. The orange chicken was more sweet than spicy. No presentation, just put on a plate and take it out. I felt like I was at someone's home, rather than a restaurant. Maybe that is the vibe they are going for. The dish was more like opening up a bag of chicken fingers then dump a sweet orange sauce. If anyone has had a frozen orange chicken meal, made by a company that is famous for their pies. A meal that can be purchased at your local grocery store...well, that is close to what we are talking about. It came out without any serving utensil. WTH? The Mongolian beef was more like pot roast and fatty. It certainly was not what I would consider spicy. Ambiance is VERY casual. There are regulars and they seem to be like family, so that is cool, once you have been accepted in the circle of trust. Maybe I am spoiled, because we tend to get very good Chinese in Las Vegas, due to the "Whales" coming in to gamble. Maybe this considered fabulous for Scottsdale, but certainly not what I was raised to expect. Now, it has been few weeks since my nephew and I tried this place. I wanted to let it breathe before posting "hot". To be fair. We were offered some dumplings to apologize for the wait. We declined, because I was afraid of what they may taste like. I asked for the check and the lady resisted saying that we hardly touched the food and she did not want to charge. This also was nice, but my ENTIRE working life has been in the hospitality/customer service/food service industry. They have bills to pay. They prepared the meal. They provided the service. They deserved to be paid. She apologized once again and said that they were using a new cook. I thought that I might be unusually over-critical however, my nephew, who resembles a trash compactor went away saying that there would be way he would ever get food from there. I wish this place well. Maybe there needs to be a better front of house/back of house dynamic. I can think of many things that would help.

A Mesa Asian District Gem Worth Seeking Out…read more Asian Cafe Express is a lovely strip mall gem near H-Mart in Mesa's Asian District, and after 21 years in business, it clearly has a loyal following for good reason. We brought in a fresh lobster from H-Mart to try their "bring your own seafood" cooking option and chose the garlic onion stir fry preparation. It's $14.99 for anything under 2 lbs and $7.50/lbs for anything over. It came out excellent, served over crispy egg noodles with classic Asian flavors and plenty of wok-fired goodness. We also enjoyed the Peking pork ribs, which were deboned, tasty, and slightly sweet; the stir-fried green beans, which were fresh and well prepared; and the garlic spicy chicken wings, which were especially flavorful and highly recommended. The red bean drinks were traditional and satisfying, with soft, nicely soaked mung beans and no milk. Service was friendly, efficient, and personal, handled by a couple of ladies who clearly know the restaurant and their customers well. While we were there, plenty of regulars came in for takeout and several tables were happily dining in. Overall, we really enjoyed Asian Cafe Express and were surprised we had not stopped in sooner. Highly recommend, especially for the "bring your own seafood" cooking option and the garlic spicy wings. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant is casual and laidback. They were busy that evening, it took some time before they took our orders. However, once we ordered, the items came out pretty fast. They serve all your classic dim sum favorites to the even eclectic options (Tripe, chicken feet). They still take the traditional approach of pushing carts around. The one big differentiator is the service, the team here was very attentive and ensure that our glasses were always full. The prices are reasonable for the food quality and definitely work a try. Food Quality (3/5): the food was flavorful but some of the dishes came out like warm at best. Not sure if the steamers were working in the carts. There is ample variety as well. Service (4/5): we were greeted and sat quickly. They got waters and tea to the table and the waters were always filled. They don't do a good job of clearing your table though, so be mindful that your table may get a little cluttered. Price (4/5): The prices were average for this establishment. It was just a little over 30 per person for the three of us. Atmosphere (4/5): Nice and spacious and appeared to be clean. Restrooms are outside of the restaurant, which can be tough if you're sitting at the far end of the restaurant.
