I was a little irritated. There was no side of chili oil either, but it didn't really matter. The food was so crappy it couldn't have helped. I threw most of it in the garbage and I had leftover frozen pizza from the night before. I'm sitting on the toilet as a write the review. It's actually a very good colon cleans.

The clay pot heats up more slowly and more evenly than a metal pot. This slower process makes it more ideal for simmered soups, braised or tender baked meats and perfectly cooked rice. Whenever I make rice in a rice cooker at home, I love to pick at and eat the overcooked portions of rice that accumulate on the sides of the pot. The rice that is cooked in a clay pot comes out a little scorched (not burnt) and absorbs the flavor of the juices and the meat that is cooked with it. It is so good! I had the Pork Ribs with Black Bean Sauce Claypot Rice (No. 21) and some Spicy Dumplings my first time here. Their menu has a variety of protein choices that you can choose from to enjoy in your claypot rice. They also have Claypot Congee (rice porridge), noodles and a variety of soups on the menu. Everything was wonderful and the service was great. I'm looking forward to a return visit. The parking lot for Claypot Kitchen is small and can be a little crowded at times.

It's $14.99 for anything under 2 lbs and $7.50/lbs for anything over. It came out excellent, served over crispy egg noodles with classic Asian flavors and plenty of wok-fired goodness. We also enjoyed the Peking pork ribs, which were deboned, tasty, and slightly sweet; the stir-fried green beans, which were fresh and well prepared; and the garlic spicy chicken wings, which were especially flavorful and highly recommended. The red bean drinks were traditional and satisfying, with soft, nicely soaked mung beans and no milk. Service was friendly, efficient, and personal, handled by a couple of ladies who clearly know the restaurant and their customers well. While we were there, plenty of regulars came in for takeout and several tables were happily dining in. Overall, we really enjoyed Asian Cafe Express and were surprised we had not stopped in sooner. Next I started down a row of hotel pans, picking those items that seemed interesting to me. Shrimp in various incarnations, beef and broccoli, pork egg roll, potsticker, sticky pork rib, velveted pepper steak with onions, and a couple of pieces of sushi. The shrimp was nicely cooked and the pepper steak was tender and properly cooked. The sushi was unremarkable and the egg roll was soggy and without merit. The potsticker was nice as was a piece of fried banana. Sanitation in the food areas was excellent with counters being wiped down as needed. I also noted one of the chefs in the Mongolian BBQ area wiping down the tiles on the wall, which was quite impressive. However, not all was great. Food was tepid at best and while I did not have a thermometer with me my estimate was that none of the food was over 100 degrees. The restrooms were a different story. The ladies room was properly clean and appointed with nothing but a few drops of water on the floor by the sink. However, companion went into the men's room and took a picture for me. It could not pass any type of inspection by any person. Normally I would have handed my companion my ultra violet light which I use when checking bathrooms, but why waste the batteries? The place was filthy and the toilets were terrible. No use to stand upon the seat, the crabs in here can jump six feet! Companion remarked that it was disgusting and he forgoed using the facility. Our bill for 2 was $36.11, which is about what other buffet charge, however, I've eaten at much better buffets for this amount. 3 stars
